Hias,

I try my luck again with this Quality of life suggestion, hopefully more people will agree as two months have passed since the release of Yuumi.

Situation

As Yuumi is being controlled by another champion (her movement), it often happens that, you accidentally miss-click and detach from your host or jump to another one instead of detaching. One of Yuumi's core element is the perfect use of attach, detach and the switching in between champions.

My suggestion is, to make (W) to be used for attach and switching in between targets, while ALT+W (selfcast) would be used for detaching.

With this, you won't accidentally do an attach or detach, since they are on two different key-combination.

The idea is basically that:

While you are on ground: • you can jump to a champion by pressing (W). ALT+(W) does nothing

When you are on a champion: • you can jump to another champion by pressing (W). You cannot detach ever by pressing (W) in itself.

• you can detach by pressing ALT+(W) (self-cast). Yuumi will be detached to the side of the champion where your cursor is (just as it works now). You cannot jump to another champion by pressing ALT+(W).

Odd, I've never had this problem yet. Guess I should consider myself lucky. Oddly, I have a harder time detaching than anything else, and I'm not sure why. This seems like a reasonable fix, anyway. I use self-cast to detach already, too, so I'd roll right with it.

Sounds great. I'd love detach and attach to be different inputs. Irritating when you want to hop off to auto but there are teammates nearby and the game thinks you are trying to jump onto one.

Also when a player tries to detach too far from their current position: it would be great if Yuumi hopped off and walked, rather than just not hopping off. Sometimes my team will be pushing into the enemy base, and some will start backing out, and i'll decide to go back for the straggler only it doesn't work because Yuumi just won't detach at all if you select a destination that is too far.

It's a pretty cool feature, but the problem is I only figured out 2 months ago what Alt + W does so some newer players might struggle as they would not know how to de attach. I'm not new but I am Aluminum 100 so I don't know if I am the most accurate example.
