Now I have to buy Gentleman Gnar 200% more than I planned, I didn't know his splash art would be worth it to, I was going to buy him just for the look.

TL;DR: Words, thanks for the epic splash to make this skin even more "WURF"

Since they seem to be two different teams, have you guys considered using some of the skin splash teams power tp bolster up the one that does the updated classic splashes? The splashes for the skins really seem to almost always be on point, but some of the new classic skins have been pretty embarrassing downgrades over their old ones (i.e. Katarina/Janna/Ahri) which i reckon might be due to less ressources given to that team.

The new Anivia splash however looks pretty great, so maybe you have solved that problem already! It would just be nice if things like the hilariously forced PoV in the Katarina splash wouldn't happen again in the future.

Huh, that's actually surprising, given the large difference in quality between skin splashes and updated classic splashes over the last year... then again, it might have simply been a problem of putting out too many of them in too short of a time frame.

As I said, I think the new Anivia splash looks pretty amazing, so I just hope the team will be able to stick to that standard of quality in the future when it comes to base splashes. :)

I think it's always going to come down to the individual artist as well. While there is a a lot of feedback/paintovers given by the team ultimately each artist makes the final decisions on their work and so there's always a little variation in the style.

Trist I think they just tried their best with because her in game model is so weird and Disney looking, but kat just needs a lot of touch ups to proportions and angles.

My problem with Kats is that her pose reminds me of the Flash. It looks more like someone running at superhuman speeds than anything else.

Can't believe people would pay for a white gnar with a top hat. This is going to be the next Debonair Ezreal, with all the buyers being the most toxic of his playerbase talking about how much swag & class they have and how they are high society and they look down on non-skin plebs etc. So many other champs that need the skin more.

Did anyone else notices the references to Beauty and the Beast? (The chipped teacup and clawed painting in the background) This skin splash is amazing and since I got Gnar from the mystery champion they sent out I will be getting it!

I agree, and it's also adorable! Sadly, this skin (and Gnar in general) doesn't look as cute in game, but that's 100% fine! We don't play league for good graphics (though they are welcome!), we play to have fun and/or win. Definitely my new favourite splash. Squeeeeee!
