Ao Shin
Ever since the idea of Ao Shin was shown off 2 years ago, I've become OBSESSED with seeing this champ become a reality. Supposedly he might be released late this year or the next but who knows what goes on behind Rito's doors. So, here's my idea for his kit.
I'm not good with numbers so bear with me.
Base Health: 420 (huehue) Base Mana: 376 Movespeed: 340 (he's a flying dragon, didn't want him to be too slow) Mana Regen: 2.2 Health Regen: 3.1 Armor: 22 Magic Resist: 32 Armor per Level: 2.3 Magic Resist per Level: 0.4
2 passives, because that seems to be the new trend I guess.
[P] Gift of Flight - Ao Shin's mastery and power over the sky renders him immune to knock-up effects. Slows are 10/15/20% less effective Ionic Hide - Ao Shin's scales electrify enemies around him dealing 8/16/24 + (0.2 AP) magic damage. Ionic Hide only activates when in combat.
Basically a lightning version of the new item Bami's Cinder
[Q] Stormbolt - Cost 50/55/60/65/70 Mana. 7/6/5/4/3 second cooldown: Ao Shin hurls a fast traveling pulse of energy dealing 65/95/125/155/185 + (0.6 AP) damage to the first enemy struck. If Stormbolt hits an enemy, it can be cast an additional time, dealing bonus damage, but will cost more mana, and if it strikes the same target it will stun for .75 seconds. Stormbolt will be a narrow skillshot, similar to Nidalee spear, and around medium to long range. Not to OP I suppose?
[W] Discharge - Cost 90 Mana at all ranks. 8 second cooldown: Ao Shin unleashes a wave of power, dealing 80/120/135/150/180 + (0.5 AP) damage to enemies in an area around him, knocking them back violently. If enemies hit a wall, they will be stunned for 1.2 seconds. Ao Shin can cast this ability again to deal additional damage in a slightly larger radius, but cannot knock back the same target for 4 seconds. Mana cost will be doubled. Allies in the area of Discharge will receive a momentary boost of speed. Discharge can be cast while using Ride the Lightning.
I kinda wanted this to be sort of like an "oh shit" button" but at the same time, good for teamfights.
[E] Ride the Lightning - Drains 2% maximum mana every second channeled. 20/16/12 second cooldown: Ao Shin rushes along an air current, greatly increasing movement speed (fast like Valor) for the duration of the cast. Ao Shin also leaves a path of lightning in his wake, giving allies a small movement speed boost, but deals damage 60/120/180 + (0.3 AP) to enemies caught in the zone. (like a rumble ult but it doesnt last nearly as long. It will travel WITH Ao Shin and decay after a few moments). Upon ending the cast, Ao Shin is slowed for 2.25 seconds due to exhaustion.
Ride the Lightning will also activate Ionic Hide, regardless of combat or not, but also send it on a 6 second cooldown upon ending the cast. (cause it'll look cool). This can be Ao Shin's escape or engage, but highly situational because of the intense mana cost.
[R] Ionian Wrath - 130 mana at all ranks. 2.5 second channeled ability. 150/110/80 second cooldown: Ao Shin roars (global sound) and unleashes his fury from the sky. Dealing 230/420/610 + (0.8 AP) damage every second and slowing enemies. Ionian Wrath leaves a trail of energy in its path, dealing additional damage. Enemies damaged for more than 3 ticks of damage will be snared for 1 second. While casting this ability, Ao Shin is snared. Damaging him will interrupt the spell.
Think of this as like a vertical Vel'Koz ult instead of horizontal. Graphic wise, imagine Xerath's W except continuously.
Sound wise, Ao Shin's roar will be similar Deathwing from WoW. Voice wise though, idk something kinda reserved but commands respect. Like Durnehviir from Skyrim. Skip to 1:44 for an example of Deathwing's roar.. And here's an example of Durnehviir's voice. skip to 0:30.
