Enobi is a melee support, who uses his otherworldly eyes to confuse enemies, deny them vision and weaken their confidence in their ability to fight back. He creates various illusions to make the game harder for his enemies, and when played right, can create many openings for his own team.

Attributes: Support

Lore The world has many beasts of great physical form. While most appear that way, others know what their potentials hold, but are underestimated at that. The case of Enobi and the spectre is neither. While Enobi possesses minimal physical appearance, his power is not to be questioned. But this strength is facilitated by his unintended partner, the Lost Spectre.

It happened on the cold night Enobi spent in his collection room. He stood above his several perfectly formed masks, each carved of varying woods, and magics. Enobi’s favorite was held above the rest. The deep red, smooth mask, covered which donned black paint lines with delicate orange outlining. This mask, the only mask that only allowed vision through his left eye, was his favorite mask. But he did not create it. He discovered it one day, half buried and sinking into a dark bubbling swamp, late in the cold during his plans to rendezvous with his lover. While he hummed an old song happily, he began to hear whispers within the cold breeze that suddenly made it’s name in the room. Whispers that told him not to listen.

“Listen to what?” he wondered.

As the whispers built up, he noticed the shadows within the corners slowly coming together. It was as if he had been envisioning a demon building up it’s form out of nowhere, to devour him without a sound. But this was not the case. The shadows had begun to rise into a seemingly physical manifestation, that stretched as far as his waistline. Confused, but not afraid, he called out to the corner, seeking answers.

“What is this?” He spoke. “What is this?”

The shadows had begun to illuminate, releasing a appealing and magnificent turquoise light. Enobi was drawn to that which appeared before him.

“I am the Spectre King, my boy.” The shadow spoke. It’s voice did not match those that warned him to turn away.

“The Spectre King.” Enobi repeated. His interest peaked at a minimum level of interest, but the shadow continued.

“Your masks intrigue me.” He said. “Tell me about them.”

“I made them all.”

“All of them?”

Enobi paused. He turned to face the mysterious mask, gazing at it temporarily.

“No, actually.” He answered. “There is one I had not made.”

“So I figured.” The shadow responded. “That one stands out to me. It is... Perfect.”

Enobi, despite his conversation about the masks behind him, did not fail to press for answers from the shadow.

“Why are you here, King?” He asked. “Surely you have other places to be, than here, viewing my masks.”

“I’m here, because that is my mask you hold.” The shadow responded. “You have my mask sealed away from me, away from my grasp. Please return it to me.”

Enobi was initially reluctant to giving his favorite mask to the shadow in the wall. However, he came to realize that whatever this shadow truly was, it was nothing so simple as a prank or joke. He did not believe this spirit appeared with the intention of simply scaring him. Because of this, he accepted the request of the shadow.

“Where... do I take it?” He hesitated.

“Simply hand it to me.” The shade responded. Out of it’s linear likeness appeared a hand, dark like the umbral shadow. Enobi slowly approached the shade, with the mask in hand. He passed the mask to the shadow.

“You have my gratitude, human.” The shadow declared. “As a reward for your loyalty, and service, I think I will let you don this mask before I go.”

“That won’t be necessary.” He responded.

“You question me?” It asked. It’s voice had begun to melt away, lowering drastically in pitch, slowly. “This is a true honor. Do not resist.”

Enobi quickly retreated, trying to deny wearing the mask. To his surprise, the shade began to slowly approach, lightly and silently as if hovering above the creaking wood floor. From within the moving blackness, two bright red eyes were born. Enobi was unwise to glare into them, immediately losing the feeling within his legs. The moment he blinked, the lights had suddenly dimmed. He blinked again, and they were off. The only remaining light, was that which emanated from the turquoise spectre. Using all of the little strength he had left, he forced some feeling back into his legs, before he threw himself towards what he believed to be the door, but again, to his surprise, it was instead a sharp edge of his pristine collection of carving knives.

Enobi had impaled himself before his vision had suddenly come to reality, allowing him to realize what happened. His eyes widened, and he pulled himself from within the edge’s grasp. As he bled, he fell to the wooden floor, noticing the shadow approach him again.

“You will be my vessel.” The shadow spoke. Enobi could see it growing in size, higher and higher. It turned him on his back, and gently placed the blood red mask on his bleeding face.

“Who are you..?” Enobi barely asked, attempting to reach for his face to remove the mask. The shadow began to laugh subtly, moving itself towards the covered face of Enobi, as if attempting to breathe on him.

“I am just an illusive shadow.” It responded. “You should not have listened.”

Abilities

.:[Innate - Phantom Feet]:.

Enobi is not seen on the enemy minimap, unless in combat with an enemy champion.

If Enobi double clicks a spot that is between 4 and 10 seconds of walking distance, he will channel for 2 seconds. (Champion damage breaks this channel.) If the channel is complete, he will teleport to the spot, and gain 30/40/50/60% (Increases every 5 levels) movement speed that decays over 3 seconds. (60 second cooldown.)

(If Enobi teleports to a spot on the map where he can be seen, he is briefly displayed on the minimap.)

.:[Q - Optical Boost]:. Enobi boosts an ally's attack speed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds. If they are below 50% health when activated, Enobi also reduces the duration of incoming CC against his ally by 25/30/35/40/45% for the duration.

If Enobi damages an enemy champion, the duration increases by 1.5 seconds, and the attack speed is boosted by 10%. This can occur up to 2 times.

If his ally damages an enemy champion, Enobi's cooldowns are reduced by 1 second. This can occur up to 4 times.

Cooldown: 18/16.5/15/13.5/12 seconds Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Target Range: 800

.:[W - Visual Extremes]:. Enobi disappears, becoming untargetable, and leaving behind a flock of Ravens which fly slowly in a line, dealing 90/130/170/210/250 (+30% of total AP) magic damage to all enemies they collide with. If he damages an enemy champion, he slows them by 20%. This slow gradually increases to 40/50/60/70/80% over 2.5 seconds. Additionally, Enobi's first attack against them within 3 seconds gains 300 range, and releases an ember, which deals an additional 35/55/75/95/115 true damage to the target.

Enobi reappears at the Raven's destination.

Cooldown: 20/18.5/17/15.5/14 seconds Mana Cost: 60 Range: Up to 600/650/700/750/800

.:[E - Illusion]:. Passive: Using Phantom Feet allows Enobi to reveal the 1/1/2/2/3 closest wards within 2000 range for 5 seconds.

Active: Enobi briefly channels, then releases a dark energy in a cone in front of him, which deals 70/110/150/190/230 (+40% of AP) magic damage to all enemy champions. Additionally, if they were facing Enobi at the time, they become nearsighted for 2 seconds, reducing their vision range to 300, but they are able to see only Enobi, no matter where he is.

Cooldown: 24/21/18/15/12 Mana Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Range: 750

.:[R - The Second Eye]:. Enobi removes his mask for 8 seconds, revealing the second eye and unleashing his true power. He gains 3 charges, which allow him to recast The Second Eye up to 3 times.

Reactivating The Second Eye fires a dark pulse of energy from Enobi’s eye, which deals 150/300/450 (50% of AP) magic damage to all units in a line, but stops at the first enemy champion it hits. That champion will be cursed for 1 second, becoming untargetable and invulnerable. After the curse ends, they will be placed into complete Stasis for 2.5 seconds, also being unable to attack or move. Enemies hit by one pulse cannot be affected again, but can still block other incoming pulses.

Cooldown: 120/100/80 Mana Cost: 100 Range: 1250

Tips

Playing As Enobi

Enobi is able to perform best with a partner. Using Optical Boost, mutually aiding each other can provide you the best results for your team.

Because Phantom Feet scales with walking distance, you get more distance when teleporting with early boots, or Homeguard.

Enobi has nice base damage. Use this to build an early lead.

Playing Against Enobi

Always be prepred to turn around when Enobi is using Illusion.

Being blinded by Illusion could mean you're being lured into a trap. Be very considerate of where Enobi is moving.

If you're hit by Eye of the End, you have brief invincibility. Use this moment to think about what you can do.

The Q seems obscenely broken and makes late game memes even more late game memes for super scaling ADC's also 90% reduction on the w is a little too much but I like the concept overall. The Passive seems overtuned and needs more of an identity rather than just being "Heres a bunch of ideas I found cool" Honestly the minimap thing might be overtuned but its a good idea for a stealth based assassin if we ever get one again, not necessarily invisible or camoflaged, but unable to be seen by all wards. the passive on E is a bit too long as 4500, youre making a ward killing machine here and that enough of its own identity. In Addition, the slow on E is not needed because its a tether on a mobile champion. Youre making a great disruptor class that fits with the likes of Rakan and Support Trundle, but the execution might be a little too much.

The Q could be worked on. It originally only had the first half of the text, and I might just go back to it. (EDIT: I changed the Q to make it more fair.)

The W is NOT 90% damage reduction. It's 10% damage reduction...

His identity is removing enemy vision, which is the Passive + E combo. That's why the Passive is there. (EDIT: I did reduce the range on E. It's progressively not as good.)

The slow is up for debate, but I put it in to make it easier to land the E + W combo.

1st and foremost I'd like to say I liked the lore a lot. You managed to make an interesting short story that was captivating.

Now, on to the abilities. There were many cases where I didn't quite understand what you mean so I'm gonna first clear my doubts.

Passive- No doubts here.

Q- "Enobi creates an illusion for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds" Does he make like a zed shadow? A Wu clone? I'm not understanding. Also, can he target himself with his q?

W- "Enobi disappears, leaving behind a flock of Ravens which fly slowly in a line" What does disappear mean here? Untargetability? Can he die to an ignite during his w? Also, can he cancel it? If not it sounds suicidal in most cases.

"dealing (...) magic damage every third of their flight. " What does this mean?

E- "Enobi briefly channels" Can he move during the channel?

"able to see only Enobi, no matter where he is." Does this mean the target can't see anyone else regardless of where they are? Also, can the target see terrain?

R- "He gains 3 charges, which allow him to recast The Second Eye up to 3 times." Is this like ahri ult or does it have 1 plus 3 charges?

"becoming untargetable and invulnerable. After the curse ends, they will be placed into Stasis for 2.5 seconds" Untargetable and invulnerable is the definition of stasis, unless u mean that they can still move and attack during it. And that would just be giving an Olaf ult and a Kayle ult to an enemy, followed by a zhonias

When I say that he creates an illusion, I'm kind of just explaining how he does what he does. It's mainly just the attack speed boost and the tenacity.

The same thing goes with his W. When he disappears, he is untargetable but not invulnerable. I will need to write that. He can't cancel it, but he can choose the distance which he wants to travel.

He can't move during this channel. It's similar to Cassiopeia's ultimate. His E functions like other nearsight abilities, like Graves' W, Quinn's Q, and Nocturne's R. This means they can still see terrain, but not attacking enemies, etc. The only difference is that Enobi is always visible to the enemy.

The initial cast is the activation of the real ability. So it's basically 3 charges after using it at first.

You are right. During the initial untargetability and invuln, they can still move and attack. Afterwards, they can't move or attack either. They get the full effect from Stasis. The reason I did this is to add some counterplay or some opportunity to make a decision after being hit.

Passive: I like the idea of a champ that doesn't appear on the minimap, but at least he should be visible while in combat with champions, that way you wouldn't have to rely on your allies to ping whenever he shows up somewhere (and when he leaves lane).

Q: I really don't get the theme of this ability (and "creates an illusion" might be the most vague statement I have ever seen) Overall this would feel pretty lackluster imho, it's point and click, 20-40% atk speed is not that noticeable, specially on such a short duration, the tenacity would be good, but then again it's not something you notice on a short duration. Q would feel like you just press it and you lose mana (a pretty large amount too) and get a large cooldown going.

W: From what I see this would be the bread and butter of his kit, a large slow that is a gap closer and makes him untargetable, a mix of Vlad w with nasus w in a dash, kinda. I like the ability overall, would allow him a lot of survivability whilst making him good at ganking (although I think it would be better if the speed of the w scaled with his movespeed imo). However, this ability is heavily gated by the large cooldown, the low duration of the slow and the low damage. For reference: Vlad w cooldown is 28-16 seconds. Nasus w cooldown is 15-11 seconds, the slow is 35-47/59/71/83/95% and lasts 5 seconds (it is also an attack speed slow). Fizz e cooldown is 16-10 seconds. I would put this ability on a 20/19/18/17/16 second cooldown, and the slow should last at least 4 seconds.

E: This ability is a good concept, but the stats aren't in line with what they should be: Again cooldown is too high: I would give it something like 13/12/11/10/9 seconds Mana cost should start at medium and scale to high, not the other way around, specially since 100 mana at level 1 on most supports is almost a third of their mana. My suggested mana cost would be something like: 60/65/70/75/80

R: I'm gonna be honest here, don't like this ability at all, hit the tank and it might just win you the fight, hit their assassin and say goodbye to your carries. I just imagine a talon flashing into this then ult-w-q and auto attack till free zhonias and then seeing his team destroy yours as he waits zhonias out. This is like a bard ult that can only hit enemies, but before it actually makes ppl golden it gives them Olaf ult and Kayle ult. It just has so much where it can go wrong, most abilities in league either hit and do their thing or miss and are useless, this is the equivalent of trying to insec as Lee sin with a 50% chance of kicking their 10/0 Darius into your team. Would be pretty nice if the 1 second was just a zhonias where they can use abilities and walk but won't do damage and then actual zhonias. Also if you change it to what I said it prolly will need a bigger cooldown.

Overall this concept has one big downside with many little upsides. The upsides are stuff like the passive after teleport movespeed which would probably be lots of fun to use and the fact that hitting a good w could destroy the opponents in a teamfight. The big downside he is extremely hit or miss: -His cooldowns and mana costs are enormous, making a not successful roam hurt you a lot. -The success of his ganks is based mostly on how good the communication between the opponents is. -He has nothing to do in-between roams, he offers nothing but all in pretty much (unless you wanna poke with a 24 second CD ability and lose 100 mana) -He can't lane or jungle, so all he does is roam. -He becomes incredibly useless of behind and even worse if tilted since his ult has to be very thought out to avoid helping the enemies more than your team.

Despite this, I think that with some alterations he could be a great concept. (Lower cooldowns and mana costs, scaling a little bit worse but being better early, stuff like that).

I understand what you think about the passive, so I took your suggestion.

I decided to change the Q a little bit. This will fix it's power being too low, but will also answer your ideas about cooldowns. I will say the reason the mana cost was really high is because it used to make allies untargetable.

As for your W suggestions, I only lowered the cooldown. You say the ability doesn't last long enough and it does too little damage, but when comparing him with other supports, the duration is fine. Nasus' Wither lasts 5 seconds because he's immobile, but my concept already has mobility. The damage is also fine. The magic damage aspect is high, and I'd say the true damage aspect is okay too.

Again, I took your suggestions with E, lowering the cooldown and cost. But with respect to the new Q, I didn't drop it to such low numbers.

I had to think over this ability, because I understand what you're saying. I kept the immunity aspect, but I took away the ability to deal damage also. So in a way, they're a moving, CCing Zhonyas for 1 second, but then the full Zhonyas happens afterwards.

What are your thoughts now?

JogadorJNC1 votes

I rlly like the concept right now, that said here are some ideas:

Passive: Since this is pretty much a mini TF ult, it would make sense that the opponents get some sort of warning, I was thinking that the last 1 or 1.5 seconds of channel would give an indicator where he is gonna land (like tf ult).

Q: I think this could also make the ally heal a bit on hit, that way he would be able to proc ardent censer and ardent really fits this ability. I was thinking the heal could scale with HP so that it is decent with tanks as well as ADCs. Heal:2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3% +(0.9% per 100 ap) of the ally's missing HP. (That is probably too much but it could be toned down)

W: I'd make the speed scale with movespeed. Also, we need to know his auto attack range to know how strong the bonus range is, I would personally have Enobi have 550 range but with no bonus range here. Also I would make this his E instead of W, dashes are usually on either Q or E.

E: Maybe the nearsight duration could scale with level. Also I'd make this the W.

R: Imo, while in stasis or invulner/untargetetable from this ult, abilities like Swain ult shouldn't heal or do damage. Also gp w shouldn't be usable during the initial 1s
