After Someone Clicks Decline, Can it not go back to Home Page?

Nothing is more annoying than trying to read a lore while waiting for your game. Then the game is found, but someone declines, so now you have to go all the way back and by the time you do it repeats.

naw it'll only take you a couple of seconds to read the lore after the retcon so you'll be fiiiine

I also have trouble when I want to look around in the store. See, I click the "play again" button and then get bored. So I go to the store. I see that there is something interesting to look at but then the "found match" pops up... The rest is obvious.

It doesn't only apply to lore. Literally everything you do, if that one person declines, you're going back to the homepage, even if you were planning to get a cool skin

Often I'll just be browsing the store dreaming of which champ, rune, or skin I'll buy next, then I get kicked cause someone declined a game. Sad face.

Probably has something to do with the archaic adobe client that Riot refuses to change/update.

Things like greying out the background and disabling features during ques are most likely too deep in the code to undo. It only continues to exist because rebuilding the framework for the UI would be time consuming. For as popular as League is, it's amazing how dysfunctional their primary UI is.

As for the runes, that is because people spend money for a feature that many competing games give for free. Riot is basically monopolizing on your convenience by making it impact the game. I'm surprised there isn't more outrage over this. The whole system of talents and runes could easily be combined in a content patch and solve many complaints and issues, as Blizzard did in HOTS/WoW.

I dont think monopolizing means what you think it means.

Also not sure that Riot "refuses" to change/update the client. I thought it was pretty widely known they're working on it. (And let's not forget that just a few patches ago they revamped the patcher like crazy.)

"to take over and control (something or someone) completely : to use (something) in a way that prevents others from using it"

I understand the meaning of a monopoly, but I used it a bit out of context to exaggerate that they are ripping people off for an automated service.

Yea I know the feeling. Sometimes I'm trying to make a quick change to a rune page and the queue pops and someone declines only for me to have to save it unfinished and try to rush back into it before the next queue pops. Yes I know I can/should alter runepages out of queue but sometimes you forget after the match.

I do wish we could edit rune pages in the lobby like we can masteries, I'm pretty sure this has come up for discussion before and probably explained in detail why it hasn't been implemented but a man can dream you know....a man can dream...

Can I just raise the question of what the hell happens in the 30 seconds to find a game that makes one person decline 80% of the time?

Have you ever, ever missed a queue pop, or hit decline?

If so. That. Only with the possibility that it happens to any of the other nine people. Nine chances, not including yourself, every match adds up pretty quickly.

First, snarky comment: "What lore page?"

Second, agreed. It's pretty annoying.

It's really annoying when you fixing up your rune page and then it goes back to the homepage.

I think its more annoying when the timer at champion select reaches 0 and the client closes and you have to wait for the game client to open. That logo pops up in the middle of the screen and you have to wait for the game client to open so you can alt tab out of it. You cant do anything at all like watch a youtube video or type in forums or anything between the client closing and the game client starting up because it will interupt whatever you are doing. that is my biggest annoyance.

Agree. I'd really want to see a Rioter comment on this .. It's so annoying when that happens

just in general the client needs to save your spot

Yes, please Riot. I need this!

Looking at store, checking out match history, looking at profile/champions

Yes it is very annoying if I wanna go back to homepage I'll go back myself ;-;(also it dosen't even save your spot in store or whereever!)

Agreed its kind of annoying when im in the store looking at champs and have to go all the way back after the game is declined

This seem smore of a party issue rather than a que issue. When someone not in your party declines, you simply are put right back into queue . You're only returned when a party member declines or doesn't accept. I mean, the client literally pops up over any open windows you have open and makes a loud noise
