New Map Concept: War of the factions (Permanent Game Mode)
League is a very popular game, and we have so many players, some are spamming Arams, some Spamming Summoners Rift, some are spamming Ranked, some are spamming custom games with their own friends and some are just chilling, and looking at the news. No joke but there are so many active players in this game, and there I am thinking of a game mode that will be a fun game mode for those who are interested in trying out something unique and takes longer than Summoners RIft.
Have you ever thought of a unique map that could hold more than 10 players? a true deathmatch? Many of us would love to have some adventerous and permanent game mode that can have space for more than 10 players. I know summoners rift is most popular because it's a 30 minutes match roughly with 10 players and the ranked system is mainly focused on it as well. Nontheless, the other fighting map is Twisted Treeline, and usually people pick it against bots more often, I barely see it played against real people. As for this new Map, War of the Factions, let's have a look and talk about the thoughts I am having in terms of the adventure we'll have, action times and populated area with many players.
First of all, War of the Factions will have a lot of adventures involved in it, because the map will be much bigger than summoners rift, the game might take a while to finish, which means, not all players are going to like it, only those who enjoy long time adventures in League. It'll contain a lot of jungle mobs, a lot of creeps, more than 1 Dragon and Baron. Something extra. Quests inside the map built in a way of teamwork. They could do certain quests to obtain gold, helpful items, pets to fight by their side or even extra structures in your region. Whatever will fill the adventure!
Second to mention is that War of the factions will be made of so much action involved gameplay, such as. It's going to involve all the regions of League's Lores, such as, Freljord, Bandle City, Bilgewater, Demacia, Freljord, Ionia, Ixtal, Mount Targon, Noxus, Piltover, Runeterra, Shadow Isles, Shurima, Void and Zaun. However, I'll also involve that every Region will have the multiple players, and all regions are involved in 1 giant Map, with so many jungles and quests in it. It might sound very confusing, which is only fair to most of you people, and I totally understand, but It won't be as weird as it sounds once we get used to it.
Additotinally, in terms of the populated area, now I can't tell exactly how many players will be able to play in this map, but fair to say that it will be more like a role playing, It doesn't have to be all 14 regions death match, but It will be a role play + fighting other regions. For example, invading empires and regions with your own group of faction. As for how many players in each Faction maximum, well that depends on how many champions in each faction, and take the least of them, if the least has only 4 maximum, then keep it 4 players per faction. However, every Faction will have their only own champions, you are forced to pick a champion from the faction you are playing. Nontheless, you may only pick your own faction if you are playing a death match between all friends in the same map, other than that, if you are going to play with randoms, then the faction for your group will be a random pick. You have to keep that in mind, otherwise, the queue will take half an hour to fill all 14 regions with 4 players. It'll be all random picks for everyone, which means, It might have over 50 players in a giant map.
In conclusion, War of the Factions will be a long game mode, if you have so many friends willing to spend a fun time in this game mode, then you will be able to invite many friends to enjoy this match, otherwise, you will have to queue randomly with 4 of your friends or solo, to find out which faction you will be put on from all the 14 factions. The match might require 1-2 hours fairly, but It shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Finally, War of the factions will give you extra bonus whether upon winning or losing the match. A lot of bonuses will be rewarded, such as, more mastery points toward your champion's rank, more blue essence. If you win the match, you will obtain a key fragment as a bonus gift, more than one? It's whatever working. In other words, winning might be very difficult, but you will obtain great benefits either way, and if you win, then you will have a bonus extra benefit.
Thank you so much for reading! It took me a while to finally write about such Map. Feel free to ask me about any questions. I can possibly add all of the champions to their factions below, to make it look more convincing in terms of understanding the map in a better way.
