[NEW] Ancient Jungle Summoners Rift Map
Hey everyone! So I thought I would construct a new summoners rift map that I think would be a great idea to add something new to the game but also did this for fun and to be critiqued.
So to start, the map is set within an ancient forest (can be Kumungu Jungle too) filled with glowing botanical gardens, vine walls, eerie flowers, flowers and much more to discover.
On the North-West and South-East ends of the map, are occupied by the Faerie/Fae Dragons nests. The entire map is identical to the summoners rift map, but has a lot more brushes, no rivers and a few more new jungle camps and surprises. Also on the map in the centre in the mid lane, is a giant venus fly trap like plant which starts off as a bud, guarded by a vine wall and will remain dormant until it awakens.
EPIC MONSTERS THE FAE DRAGON Just like the dragon that we are all familiar with, the Faerie/Fae Dragon whichever you prefer, spawns initially at 2:30. An added twist to the dragon though is that after 4 or 8 minutes of not being attacked, it will fly to the other side of the map to one of it's nests. For example; if the Fae Dragon currently spawned on the top lane aka the North West side corner of the map and it hasn't been contested, it will lift off the ground and fly to the South East corner of the map to it's other 'nest'.
The Fae dragon gives 4 different types of buffs when it's killed. The dragon isn't elemental like the dragons in summoners rift, but you can distinguish which buff it will carry as its scales, body and patch on it's head will shimmer a certain colour representing said buff. So for example; [RED/ORANGE] 8/16/24% attack and ability power [GREEN/TEAL] Restores 4/8/12% missing health and mana when out of combat. [SILVER/LIGHT BLUE] 25/50/75 bonus movement speed while out of combat. [PURPLE/PINK]"NEW" you gain a shield that absorbs 2/4/10% of your maximum health. If you haven't been hit for 10s the effect recharges. (Similar to malphites passive and numbers can be tweaked if too OP)
THE VENUS FLY TRAP (Dionaea muscipula OR QUEEN DIONAEA) In the centre of the map in the mid lane is a giant flower bud that blooms into a almost venus fly trap like plant (sort of like the Sarlacc in Star Wars). Spawns after 20mins into the game. The monstrous plant attacks and has almost similar abilities like the baron, but will also devour nearby lane minions to heal itself.
Take note that, the mid lane is a giant circle and curves to compensate for the giant plant in the centre. I also forgot to mention that since that area is much larger, there would be a few more minions coming through that lane (give or take an added 4 more minions, but still one siege). Minions will walk around the plant when laning and the only time the venus plant actually "EATS" nearby minions is only when it's being attacked by champions.
The plant monsters buff is the same as the barons, but with the added 2 or 4% life steal and 4 or 6% spell vamp. The reason why I added this is because not many mages have a way to heal themselves but AD classes do through life steal, so I figured I'd add this for flavour. I don't mind tweaking the percentages though.
PLANTS Plants make an appearance on this map as well: Blast Cone and Scryers Bloom. However the Honey Fruit is replaced with a bees nest instead which has a chance to spill healing honey or summon a swarm of bees for 5s that deal true damage to ALL nearby champions. The bee don't differentiate between enemies or allies. They just attack anyone and anything. Also the bees nest has a CHANCE to either drop healing honey OR summon a swarm off bees.
JUNGLE MONSTERS Lastly, the jungle monsters on this map will be different. In the smaller camps you have: pixies, jungle trolls, thorn wolves, mushroom creeps and a new one added is a roaming jungle cat that will randomly appear out of a brush and attack the nearest champion. The Jungle Cat won't be that strong and think of it as the scuttle crab that we are use to seeing in the river :)
In the bigger camps, you have the blue buff which now takes the form of a bird with a glowing belly and flower atop its head (Or you can use your imagination). The red buff which now takes the form of a thorny snake that resembles a cobra with glowing red scales. And lastly, a new buff, the yellow buff which takes the form of a porcupine which grants damage upon being hit, to the user.
