A More Darkin-Colored Varus

So Varus is supposed to be one of the Darkin, which in concept I think is really cool, but the color scheme disconnect kinda bothered me. I decided to do an edit, and I admit its not great, but I think the Darkin-Red color scheme kinda suits him.

Edit 2: I took into consideration the purple concerns, and I decided to further edit it for a midpoint of sorts, like a redish purple that didn't read "Void" for me. Its not half bad.

I definitely think there should be more contrast, which is my only huge complaint about it, but as I said, it was a bit of a rush job just to get my point across. What do you guys think?

Nah purple is better. Separates him more from Aatrox and Kayn

Varus is purple because he’s different from Kayn and Aatrox though

I want to thank everyone thus far for their input. I have a few words I'd like to say, since I think I wasn't as clear as I could have been.

I too like purple Varus more, my main concerns being that a) the shade of purple makes him seem more like a void character, and b) the only other Darkin we've seen have had more reddened tones (a nice blood red for Aatrox, a red-orange mix for Rhaast). I do believe more could be done to help Aatrox fit in among his long prospected brethren, but I certainly agree my initial color alterations were on the extreme side.

This is my latest version, also featured above, but I think it does well to balance the two colors. If I was a better artist perhaps I could have gotten it just right, however, this is the best of my abilities (for now).
