Abilities

World’s Coil

Innate: Lernea begins the game with 3 Tail Sections that side-wind autonomously behind her. While she has any surviving Tail Sections, a percent of damage that would be dealt to her is modified and distributed across her surviving Tail Sections as area of effect damage.

Damage percent ignored: (10/15/20)% at levels (1/7/13) Damage distributed modifier: 150% - 2.5% per level.

Tail Sections

Control type: Follows in Lernea's wake, sidewinding back and forth as she goes. Passively curls around toward Lernea to form a round coil while Lernea is immobile, and does so more quickly to encircle nearby enemies, prioritizing champions and then large monsters and minions.

Target type: Minion, does not count towards the minion kill tracking score.

Immune to crowd control.

Health: 50% max health. Armor: 100% armor. Magic resitance: 100% magic resistance. Movement speed: 100% movement speed. Health Regeneration: 100% health regeneration. Incoming damage modifier: 75% damage from area of effect abilities, 75% from Touched enemies, stacking multiplicatively with the previous.

Abilities:

Serpentine Contact: Has a Touch radius of 100. Lernea can attack enemies Touched enemies that are outside her normal attack range.

World Boundaries: Provides unit collision against enemies only while alive. Intercepts projectiles from enemies Touched by at least two Tail Segments.

Shedding Renewal: If not alive or while out of battle, regenerates 5% maximum health per second. Will not return to life until health is at 100%

Q: Ambush Fangs

Range: 525 Cost: 60 mana Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

Active: After a brief delay, Lernea lunges forward with her mouth, dealing physical damage to all enemies in the way and knocking them aside, then retreats to her original position upon reaching maximum range. Lernea comes to a stop upon contact with an enemy champion, knocking them down and then dragging them back with her before flinging them 75 units in the direction of the cursor. Hitting an enemy champion reduces Ambush Fangs' cooldown by 3 seconds.

Lernea’s lunge can cross terrain, but she will always return to her original side of it. If Ambush Fangs would place an enemy champion on top of her Tail, they will be knocked aside in such a way as to be encircled by as many Tail Segments as possible.

Physical Damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 50% AD)

W: Constriction

Cast Range: 325 Cost: 30/32.5/35/37.5/40 mana Static Cooldown: 1.5 seconds On-Target Cooldown: 8 seconds

Active: Lernea crushes the target enemy with her nearest Tail Segment, dealing them physical damage and nudging her Tail slightly to enwrap them further. Lernea cannot use the same Tail Segment to crush the same enemy champion, large minion, or large monster twice within a duration.

Tail Segments’ cooldown rate is modified while an on-cooldown enemy is Touched.

(Constriction can still be used with Tail Segments that have been disabled)

Physical Damage: (2/2.75/3.5/4.25/5)% of the target’s maximum health (+ 120% AD) Cooldown Modification: 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 seconds per second

E: Spatial Sidewind

Cost: 80 mana Cooldown: 24/21/18/15/12 seconds Dash Duration: 1-(2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3) seconds. Dash Speed: 250% movement speed

Active: Lernea channels for up to 5 seconds, increasing the ability’s duration over the first 2.5 seconds. Over this time, Lernea memorizes a path drawn by the cursor. Moving during this time breaks the channel. If the channel is broken, 50% of the cost is refunded and the ability's cooldown is reduced by 30%.

Second Cast: Lernea rushes at increased speed by the shortest route possible to the start of the cursor’s path and then follows it for as long as circumstances permit. If she reaches the end of the cursor’s path, she will stop, refunding the ability’s cooldown by twice its remaining duration.

Lernea cannot cross terrain during any portion of the ability, and will seek to round any terrain obstructing her path by the shortest possible route.

R: Ouroboros

Cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds Cast Range: 950 Area of effect radius: 650 Recast Static cooldown: 1.25 seconds Recast area of effect radius: 115

Passive Lernea gains an additional Tail Segment following behind her.

Active: Lernea temporarily removes her Tail Segments from the map to take on her true form as a vast abyssal serpent, coiling around a large area for a brief duration and preventing enemies from escaping by any means. During this time, Lernea gains crowd control immunity and damage reduction but cannot move, attack, or cast her other abilities, and any damage that would be dealt to any part of her body is dealt to her health.

Additionally, Lernea may recast the ability as many times as circumstances permit to strike at the target location within her encircled area, dealing enemies within range physical damage and slowing them by 60% for 0.75 second.

After the duration ends, Lernea remains in her true form for an additional 1.5 seconds but no longer prevents enemy movement. On-reaction or at the end of this duration, Lernea makes one final strike at the target area and restores her ordinary form and Tail Segments along the outer periphery of the target area.

Additional Tail Segments: 1/2/3 Duration: 2.5/3.25/4 seconds Physical Damage: 150/250/350 + 100% AD Damage Reduction: 35/45/55%

Lore

Like all things, the stars have both a beginning and an expiration date. Yet the end of a star is more violent by far than the death of a living being. Crawling from the heart of a great black hole at the bidding of entities unknown came Lernea, charged since time immemorial with bringing peace to stars at the time of their death. Either by consuming a dying star or by encircling it with her own celestial body, Lernea safeguarded the spatial bodies around them from the solar fire their end entails. Each time she carried out her task her body would be temporarily turned to dust and scattered, but she reformed herself each time, no less satisfied in her purpose than before.

At least, for a time.

Space-faring mortals, rushing through their too-short lives not understanding the purpose behind her existence, began to fear Lernea as a capricious and cruel consumer of starlight. Seeking to ambush her during her next feeding, these beings gathered near a dying star and besieged her with their weapons as she drew near. Her body destroyed too early, Lernea could do nothing as the star she had come to euthanize went supernova, consuming all for spatial miles around it in a brilliant display of fire and light.

Already "dead" and untouched by the baleful death of the star, Lernea simply beheld the spectacle, the spectacle that had so long been obscured by her own body.

It was the most beautiful moment of her existence. The light and fury burned itself into her mind, and even though she recreated herself as she'd done so many times, she could no longer go on as she had. She wanted to see it again - yearned to. But bringing premature death to a star was a challenge beyond her. But it wasn't beyond others. Slithering across the blackness of space, she begun to learn of beings that had bound a star being of similar stature to her, and destroyed the stars he created at will. But how?

The secret was in the world they had so much interest in.

"Runeterra," she hissed, and away she slithered, seeking the secrets with which she could put out the stars.

Hmmmm ill have to agree with aetheis she more a tank than a juggernaut and like i said earlier this is a hard concept to flesh so good job so far . However try imaging playing her in leauge now and imagine how she would be in actual combat she's a generally slow champion but what if you added the fact that she can have an astral form ( way of obtaining more speed and whatever else you want to add) and flow from there still nice kit concept

cool i like Juggernauts seems interesting i have a few questions Passive the "damage that would be dealt to her is modified and distributed across her surviving Tail Sections as area of effect damage." Is this damage dealt to allies or enemies?

tail sections passive gets a lil wordy/confusing but i think i understand. Can tell u put a lot of work into it to make it work the way u want.

Q: what if she was returned to where her last tail section was? Or what if the range was increased for every tail segment, like she uses her tail tip like an anchor point?

R: "Lernea gains an additional Tail Segment following behind her." how does she gain an addition tail seg? Is it with each rank into the ult? or only on cast? What happens if she needs to leave the ult zone? How can she cancel the ability? What if the effect radius increased based on how many tail seg she had?

But with Q, E, and R i dont think u can call this champion a juggernaut. Juggernaut's weaknesses are mobility and CC, and while a Jugger can have a dash maybe some CC immunity having both and having 2 mobility abilities is breaking those guidelines too much. Ok i realize that she can't move during her ult...but still. Having 2 mobility abilities in the basic abilities is still breaking the guidelines too much
