Battlecast/Mecha Rek'Sai question.

So honestly I am confused here. Some skins have literal "lore" behind them, like the "Star Guardian"s, and "Creator Viktor" is one of these skins; he has supposedly taken the Voidborn creatures and perfected them with techmaturgy, as he wants to do with everything.

So why did Viktor stop at Rek'Sai? Does he hold some kind of grudge against her? Can she not also attain a refined metal beauty of perfection? With the recent buffs(especially to her R, no more side-step dodging) it would make good sense to finally finish the skin line(maybe get more people to play her as well?), until the next Voidborn champion comes out that is. Rek'Sai only has 2 skins right now, so it is long overdue anyway. Rito, you started this... you finish it. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

She already has her launch skin Eternum, which is mainly a tech related skin, so I don't see her getting another one. Though there are instances of champions getting multiple skins with similar themes such as Kog having both Battlecast and Hextech, but I think for her next skin they should go with a very different thematic.

As long as it isn't "Definitely Not Rek'Sai" then I'm good with any skin.

As silly as it might sound , i personally think reksai isnt purely hell bent on chasing and feasting on prey like a hungry ravenous feeding creature , she's a predatory queen and i think she has enough knowledge and awareness of viktor's threat , what im saying is.. she can be pretty Elusive in the desert if she chose so , and thats giving viktor a pretty hard time procuring her

Yeah, to be fair she is so elusive that Rito doesn't remember that she only has Eternum and Pool Party for her skins(soon to be tied with Ivern once he gets his new skin), and she has been out since December of 2014... so like 4.25 years, with 3.5 years since Pool Party came out.

Given it's been 4 years since Arclight Vel("Definitely Not" is an absolute disgrace) and Vel is pretty popular right now. Yet no skin or chromas for him either.

Beginning to think Riot doesn't care for the true Void champions very much :P

Well, I don't exactly play Rek'Sai since I'm not much of a jungler(I usually mid or sup) but I do like her thematically and whatnot. I've been thinking about giving her a go, since she FINALLY got a buff, but the serious lack of skins is actually quite a deterrent. It's different when a champion is new and doesn't have many skins because you can hold out a lot of hope that they'll get a new skin soon-ish, but when it has been over 3 years and they only have 2 alternate skins you kinda abandon all hope.

I can't wait for the potentially good Mordekaiser rework, make him not get kited by every other champion in the entire game and not have an R that just tickles champions. Hoping they keep his unique-ness.

True morde is <3 , with all these reworks lately though , maybe this is the inevitable result of RIOT’s decision of finally stopping on creating too much champs , it’s actually a miracle that us players have the muscle memory to know how all current champions work , so we can outplay them or execute teamwork with allies , so reworks are actually a pseudo champion creation without making an entirely new champ to add in the ever growing roster .

I just wish they'd work on making the champion viable rather than different. Warwick rework VS Swain rework basically. Warwick just seems like what he was SUPPOSED to be, while Swain isn't even remotely close to what he was(RIP bird man). I'm fine with making a champion better, but completely redoing one is kind of ridiculous? It's basically just removing a champion to add a champion and that seems pretty weird.

It's the same thing with Galio, I actually really liked pre-rework Galio and would dominate midlane against AP mages, but now I just don't like him. And nothing was really wrong with him in the first place that I can tell, outside of having his basic laser ability that they could've changed. Old Galio would even dominate against new Galio if they fought.

More or less it is just sad that when you find a nice champion to play as you really can't be sure if they'll even be in the game 2 years from now, and that's my problem with some reworks. Not all of them mind you, but some.
