I think it would be cool to have a Maokai skin that you can toggle through the seasons, like the ultimate Sona skin. His effects would change, too. For example, his Q: Spring would kick up flowers, summer would kick up grass or somethin, fall - leaves, winter - snow.
I think this would be an awesome concept for Mao! It really works with his nature thing.
GIVE IT TO ME. I would become a Maokai main just for this. FLOWER SUICIDE BOMBERS. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
And fall bomber could explode into a bunch of leaves :3

I hate play maokai, but with that AWESOME skin idea I would play him. Imagine if it changes a seasonal music, just epic idea.
That would be incredible. Great idea! Maybe it could cycle on a timed loop, so you go through the seasons a few times per game, if you didn't want to toggle it. Or maybe you could start in spring, then slowly transform to summer around 10-12 minutes, then fall in another 10 min, and winter toward the end of a long game.
What do you imagine the base would look like? Just classic Maokai, then add on the seasonal stuff?

what if it changed the map season too? Like maybe an area around him can be that season as well
Maybe he could have a special In Game music? I mean, more like the new Bilgewater music (rather than DJ Sona's type of music), but it'll change with the season/model swaps. Not sure how good the DJ Sona music system would fit him, but he could be released with some kind of special music I think, just to add even more flavor to the skin.
Holy shit, it might be too much, but how fucking awesome would it be to make him a different tree for the seasons? Like pine tree in winter similar to Xmass skin, Live Oak or something in summer, Maple or Elm or whatever they have up north that are the ones that run along rivers and turn all the shades of orange, not sure what is iconic spring.
Release it on Earth Day (Apr 22), but only if it takes a while to make!
