[Suggestion] Changes to Champion Mastery Level 6/7

Hey all,

I know some have complained about the new level 6 and 7 mastery icons not really being as skill-based as they are a monetary investment (be in IP or RP). Although getting the last couple S/S+ ranks for level 7 tokens have taken me some time, I still feel like less 'skill' was needed than it seems. Regardless of how long it takes, you can still get an S and get that last token, even if this follows like 20 games with the same champ where you went 0/25/0 or something. So in order to alleviate the 'grind' feeling to get blue essence and encourage consistent mastery with a champ, here's my suggestion:

Instead of combining tokens with essence/shards that you can save up for any amount of time, make levels 6 and 7 attainable by getting the respective ranks necessary for a certain number of games in a row. So for level 6 Annie, you'd need your next 2 Annie games to be at least rank S-. Then for level 7, you'd need 3 games in a row with at least an S. Perhaps this is too hard, as I've only accomplished that feat with one champion, but I do like the idea of the consecutive victories.

Alternate method that still uses crafting: If you receive a rank lower than a B- in a game, you lose one token on that champion. This would be a much simpler solution to a feeling of skill and still encourages consistent mastery on a champion rather than whenever.

What do you all think of these ideas? Thanks for reading!

I definitly like where you were going with the "low grades removes tokens" idea. Also, I think that once you reach a certain champion mastery points you shouldnt have to spend the ip/rp to upgrade the champion. For example, if youve got your main at like 100k/150k/200k points, you really shouldnt have to spend the ip/rp at that point.
