**Quick Notes: ** Calis (Cal-is. Said as Callous) is a support AP mage that specializes in buffing his team and providing immense tactical advantage in a team fight that can easily tip the favor to your side given the right conditions.

Background: A land amid strife and turmoil. Brought to a halt by a brilliant tactician who used superior knowledge with battle and the men under his command that he single handedly brought down the most powerful nation ever to have existed, or so the stories go.

The stories of the brilliant tactician were spread far and wide. The kingdom he served grew prosperous and whenever he was in battle they never lost. Ever. He was so brilliant that he once brought down an entire keep alone. The stories of how he managed are sketchy. Some say he had an army that appeared out of nowhere. Others say that he willed the keep to fall. Only he knows the truth.

His name spread and so did his reputation. So much so that he was betrayed. While excavating a tomb that held wondrous power and artifacts the very soldiers sent to protect him left him there and the tomb sealed up. Once off the ground from the explosion which sealed the entrance he smiled and brushed off the dust. "Thank you."

He knew of the betrayal beforehand and the guards who were his closest friends were ordered to kill him. However, they couldn't. To spare them the execution he ordered them close him inside. That way they could fulfill their duty to their king and spare his life. He knew he would be fine and they followed his orders. He was after all the famous tactician Calis.

The tomb held power beyond any that was ever known or should be known. He would know it. He studied for days, weeks, months. He didn't know. Finally he found an interesting rite. Gathering all the materials he placed them how they were meant to and muttered to himself, "Time to seal this all away forever," and commenced the ritual. His mind became frayed and recombined. Over and over this happened. His body lifted into the air as all the knowledge and power within the books, artifacts, and other objects swelled into his mind. He screamed in pain and when it was over he hunched down on the tombs floor and breathed heavily. The knowledge pouring into his mind. "So much....if this were to get into the hands of those of ill intent....it would be disastrous. It must be fortune I happened here first."

So centuries passed as he paced the tombs. Practicing his art. The new found magic and his new found prowess. Keeping his mind sharp. He practiced maneuvers and fighting. He continued to expand his mind. Then, he noticed. "I'm not aging. How long have I been here? I should be old by now." Just then at the entrance of the tomb came a light and the head of a boy with blonde hair poked through and whistled, "Well, now if this ain't a tomb then I don't know what is!"

As the boy came through the opening he stood there in the middle of the tomb with his cane propped before him and stood with hands on it. "May I help you young one?" and the boy looked up with widened eyes, "Woah! There's already someone here! How? When?" and so the man explained to him that he has been trapped here. Not sure how long and the boy explained his interest in artifacts and finding of treasure. The man shook his head and explained that he was the only thing left in this tomb. "Awe man! You've gotta be kidding me! All that work for nothing!" The man smiled and laughed, "Well, you did save me lad. Now, how about showing me around? I think I have much more to share and give to this world. By the way, what year is it?"

All images are not mine. I found via google. All props for them go to the rightful owners. I only came up with the concept of my character. Thank you!

Appearance: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IhS9RN69aX4/UWRlo0nxEfI/AAAAAAAAFFc/qLxo5ePSNgI/s1600/95650%5B1%5D.jpg Nothing could be more perfect than this picture I found. It details him to a T of what I was thinking of when I was creating this champion concept.

Age: 25-27 years of age. Now ageless due to the power absorbed. Height: 5' 8" Weight: 137lbs lean and muscled. Average build.

Weapon: He uses magic blasts as his basic attack. He shoots them from his cane. They look like tiny energy balls the color of silver and blue.

Passive: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/10/icons_9151_btn.jpg Tactician's Guard:* Being a tactician isn't easy and he knows it. Starting at level 1 he gains an elite minion. At levels 6, 11, and 18 he gains another. These elite minions, once killed, come back to his side every 30s. These elite minions don't act like normal minions. They will continue to attack champions who try to escape in the brush.

Also, they differ from the regular elite minions in that the first one is ranged, then at lvl 6 there is a melee one, at level 11 there is a ranged one, and at level 18 there is another melee one. The ranged ones stay at his side and can move within 300 units of him. Melee ones will chase down enemies until either they die or they get away. They also start with low stats and gain stats per level of Calis. Also, unlike the regular elite minions these minions look much like small Pantheons, but with dark blue armor and runes upon them. The ranged ones though have bows and the melee ones have shields and a sword.

Tactician's Guard Stats: Gold: 5 (+3) Exp: 15 (+5) Health: 300 (+100) Armor: 16 (+2) Magic Resist: 6 (+2) Damage: 20*Calis Lvl Range/Melee: 550 ranged. 100 melee. Attack Speed: 0.65 (+0.022)

Q http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/7/icons_6380_btn.jpg Outwitted: From the fog of war come elite minions equal to the allied minions within 1000 units of him + characters level. These minions last for 10 seconds or until killed. These minions shall attack the nearest enemy whether it is minions or champions. After which they will go to the nearest lane and push it.

Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Cooldown: 30/27/25/23/20s

W http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/16/icons_15781_btn.jpg Solidarity: Nearby allied structures, champions, and minions gain increased defenses for 5s. Structures gain a shield equal to his AP. Minions and champions gain a shield equal to 50/100/150/200/250 (+50% AP). Champions defense and magic resist are increased by 10/20/30/40/50.

Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 Cooldown: 20/17/15/13/10s Radius: 700 unit radius around him.

E http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/11/icons_10228_btn.jpg Superior Maneuvers: Nearby minions and champions become emboldened for the next 5s. Minions attack speed, movement speed, and damage are all doubled. Champions gain 10/15/20/25/30% attack speed and movement speed. Champions also now deal 10/20/30/40/50% more damage with basic attacks and abilities.

Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 Cooldown: 23/20/17/15/13s Radius: 700 unit radius around him.

R http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource_images/9/icons_8461_btn.jpg Overwhelm: For the next 10s all minions and champions on the map gain the bonuses of the other abilities save for his Q. Instead elite minions equal to his level come out of the fog of war in each lane and push it. The effects given are of the ranks the skills are at upon activation of this skill.

Cost: 100/120/140 Cooldown: 100/90/80s Radius/range: Whole map.

Playing as Calis: Calis is extremely squishy. His guards, while adding some defense, can be quickly overcome and him killed. Despite his squishiness he is an excellent tactician. He is never without a plan. If you see him alone be cautious as it is most likely an ambush waiting for you. Using the main combo of Q-W-E can help for a quick push in his lane. When in lane with Calis it is extremely important that you focus on getting to him. Though he won't make it easy.

Counters include champions with good lane clear and area of effect attacks. He focuses more on enhancing his minions and allies leaving no room for improving himself. He is a tactician and should stay outside of battle. Don't let that happen. Get him in close and he's done.

Friends: Ezreal

Quotes: Upon Selection: "Tactically tactical." Laughs "That was stupid..."

Attacking: "Think you can outwit me?" "Be overcome!" "My army shall win!" "Down with their walls!"

Moving: "Is this....tactically advantageous? Just asking." "Are....are you sure?" "Really? There? Just saying." "Alright, guess that's where I'll go." "Perfect ambush spot." When entering brush. "Hrm, movement is key to victory some say."

Taunts+jokes+interactions: "Come now. Attack me. I'll give you a free shot. I promise." During this he sends his minions away which disapear. After saying he'll give you a free shot the minions head appears as if looking to attack, he then laughs and waves for them to hide and then says he promises. "So, I hear you're very intellig...." Breaks out laughing and holds his hand up as he holds his stomach. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I couldn't say that with a straight face." "My, my, what beauty to behold. How unfortunate you flaunt it like a two bit....Oh, I can't say that word? Well you're no fun." Then he pouts. This is used upon Miss Fortune, Katarina, Nidalee, and all other female champions who show more skin than armor or clothing. Afterwhich he responds to, "No, no. Don't get me wrong. I don't think that about you lovely ladies. I just wanted the joke. Outwitted by those who get offended. Tch." The last bit "Outwitted by those who get offended" is a stab at people who get offended if something like that was said in the game. "One, two, buckle my shoe. Three, four what a bore. Five, six you'll hit the bricks. Seven, eight break down the gates! Nine, ten all over again!" Then proceeds to laugh at his childish joke/rhyme.

Upon dying: He pretty much looks around suspiciously as if to make sure no one is looking and then runs away disappearing. A "Tactical" retreat.

Recalling: He stretches and looks around before disappearing into nothing.

Personality and voice: His personality is wise and kind. He wants what is best for the land and the people. He is fun loving and easy going. Sarcastic and funny. His voice is middle aged sounding even though he is so young. I think of his voice sounding much like Davos from game of thrones, but with slightly less of an accent. Still has the accent though, but just more tame.

Quote after the lore: "Never underestimate. Never overestimate. Be ready for anything and everything," - Calis, the Tactician.

There you have Calis, the Tactician. I made this concept because I have always been wondering what it would be like to have a champion who emboldens and empowers his team. However, it was difficult to assess due to most champions who are support usually having some kind of attack spell or way to buff themselves but really nothing to do with the minions or the allied champions only. There was always some benefit for them. This champion was made so those who want to be more tactical can be. What lane to be in, where to be, and when to activate the abilities can make for either an excellent match and victory or a swift defeat.

Please let me know what you think! No hate please. Vote up if you enjoyed my concept and let me know with your feedback below if you have any or just want to converse! Constructive feedback please. I like to converse with people and better my champions that way. Much appreciated to those who read this! +/- base on what you think! Thank you again!

Soooooo Swain is Already "Swain, the Master Tactician" and he has a cane and magic. Sounds like a different version of him. What kingdom is he from? How does this fit into the world of Valoran? His abilities seem okay, but I wouldn't play him. SOrry.

Guys, this is NOT based off of Swain, nor in no way did I have Swain in mind when making him. If you're down voting or not liking him because of that then I think that's a bit unfair. Anyways, thank you for taking the time to review and go over my character. Thank you! ^_^
