A comcept for ranked

What about a system in ranked that rewards a loosing team depending on how good they did. So basically the idea is to reward teams who are both equally matched, while still giving significantly more to the winner. So for instance, lets say the game has gone on for about 50 minutes and Team 1 has taken a tower in top and bot and pushed through mid to take an inhib and one nexus turret (not all at once), while team 2 has taken two inhibs and the third is open. Team 2 wins, but not until team one, despite having a severely worse comp in for late game than team 2, nearly take the win. Afterwards team 1 would get about 5 LP and team two would get the normal amount for winning. Again the idea is to reward people for trying and/or doing well despite wanting to give up, quit, troll, flame, kill your own team mate, ETC.. I am not sure how you could work it into promos, but maybe simply having the game not count in your promos, in the circumstance where the game described above is a promo, for team 1. The downside two loosing in this circumstance is that it takes longer to climb ranks if you cant consistently win game. The upside is that it further separates people who try at the game and are decent at it, or want to be at least, in that people who are consistently displaying good team work and decent skill are not simply getting shoved into the same boat as trolls/afk'ers/stupid 12 year olds/ETC..

This would be incredibly hard to detect, if it's just based off a numbers game there were be a lot of faults. Also the team that loses, deserves to lose. The team that loses messed up at some point, or a member of their team did, and it lost them the game, so they will pay the price for it. MMR and ELO must be lost and gained at the same rate, otherwise all players will advance and none will ever be demoted/plateau. We'll all be diamond/masters/challenger if we just spam games over and over.

Overall this is a competitive game, there's no medal for participation here
