Like, second in command-ish Malzahar... Think of it, Viktor is making nearly all Voidborn improved versions of their former selves, why wouldn't Malzahar want to work with Viktor? Malzahar supplies Viktor with the deadliest Voidborn, Viktor enhances them, both rule a perfect world.
rip no concept art= no shits given

Hello, Malzahar... Do you like Kogmaw?
Of course, you foolish mortal.... He and the rest of the voidborn will...
Exelent! Because i improved him, by removing all his weak "voidflesh". Now, he is 100% Metal!
YOU DID WHAT? The void is already perfect! And will consume all valoran without your help!
In fact, i also improved ChoGath... and VelKoz. Metal is Perfection.
WAIT! You removed all their void powers?
Yes, now they shoot lasers and missiles instead.
I will kill you....
The Anagram King2 votesAll evidence points to Viktor creating the battlecast to combat the void invasion, of which Malzahar is the herald.
Malz would not join Viktor's fight against Malzahar. :P
Scrimshäw1 voteswhat the hell? Viktor takes the physical Void creature, and cynernetically enhances them... Why would Viktor combat the creatures he loves to enhance so much? Especially since these creatures he modifies retain their free will, they choose to ally themselves with Viktor.
Mogarl3 votesActually it was stated by Viktor during Vel'koz's release that he removed his free will, one could assume he does the same for the other dangerous Void Battlecast.
