Champion Concept: Dauntless Vanguard who gets discovered with magic

Haven't made a name for him yet though

This guy was a member of the Dauntless Vanguard but was found out with magic he didn't knew existed until it accidentally killed 5 other members of the Vanguard. He was sent to Prison where other mages are held until Sylas freed them all. Instead of turning against Demacia to get revenge he decides to exile himself on the outskirts of Demacia away from people where he can never hurt anyone again but the farther he wanders off the closer he gets to the source of his magic. (Rune magic)

Looks: Do you see the Dauntless Vanguard Cards in Legends of Runeterra? He's just old Pantheon who keeps his face hidden under the Helmet.

Abilities: Passive: spawns 1/2/3/5 additional minions on the lane he spawns in. maximum of 2/3/5/6. He can also control it

Q:** Stab** skill shot, if it hits he can shield bash ,mini stunning the target. if it hits he can stab again then slash. a combo in short

W: gets a small boost of movement speed, the first target he attacks deals bonus damage, if he has 3 or more minions he can stun instead.

E: Passive - He has a chance to block auto attacks when he hasn't recently attacked any champions. Getting in combat with champions removes it Active - He plants a rune in the ground, once it grows he or his allies can pick it up and gains a shield equivalent to 25-50% of his health. Long cooldown with 45-20 second growth time.

R: Skill shot, Really hard ones Sword: when theres only 1 or 2 enemy champions nearby, you throw your sword and if it hits, you can dash and reactivate it dealing massive single target damage Shield: If theres 3 or more enemy champions, he throws his shield stunning the first target hit for 0.1 second. reactivate the skill again to dash towards the shield** you hit the shield with your dash**, it launches it to the enemy team debuffing them with grievious wounds and reduced armor but deals no damage in return

Play style: He specializes in pushing and dueling and can stand a chance against 1v2s with his small army. he's a fighter who believes in strength on numbers but stays away from his team with his own army

I think his theme and kit don't mesh well. His back story is all about magic, it ruined his life, freed him and gave him a new purpose. But he only uses it once in his kit.

Passive - He summons extra minions and can control them, but it doesn't fit his theme of magic or a vanguard. Adding an extra minion on the field, with no cooldown and not dying after a short time, really breaks the game. Makes pushing easy, and messes up the minion equality. This needs to be thought of if you're going to have a perma minion and what it can do. Remember, banner of courage was taken out for just buffing the minions.

Q - It a combo ability, but it's complicated due to the wording. It really just stuns them once and auto attacks 4 times. I would reconsider how it works and how to easier convey it to the player.

W - How do you spawn minions? Or is it just the regular lane minions? Its a dash with a stun at the end, but the condition for the stun is more often than not. Rarely would you not have 3 minions in lane, unless the fight is elsewhere. It's basically a stun in lane, and not a stun when in the jungle. Unless you can summon more than one minion and travel outside of lane with them, but if that's the case, he'll be op as a jungler when he constantly has an army of minions following him.

E - The passive is odd, being attacked or attacking puts you in combat, so ideally, he will block one auto if he's attacked first. He doesn't interact with his minions or his lore. The active comes with his lore, but the cooldown is too long for a one-off shield. He can't put a lot down, and it's not instant, but a minute wait till after he puts it down, as I understand it.

R - It is an ability that changes out of his control. Also, another stun, which means cycling through his kit provides him with 3 stuns, with little outplay because their auto-attacks.

I think you need to rework his lore to fit with his kit or vice versa. But as is I don't think this kit would work well.
