Deadeye Theory

So, we all know about the "Deadeye" teasers. There were 4 champions who were targeted by this "Deadeye" on their league profile pages. I'm sure a lot of you also know that he's theorized to be a darkin. While I agree with this theory, I have a new point of view i have yet to see on the boards. So lets delve in shall we?

So the first champion targeted was Zed. Now Zed was a loyal student to shens father, and shens rival. There was an artifact in the monistary that held untold power. Zed eventually opened this we all know, but what if the voices that were whispering to him not the shadows like we previously thought. What if instead, deadeye put zed on a darker path. We know Aatrox has shaped history before and created champions (trynd).

Sona was an orphaned at a young age but also was given her instrument. when she was adopted her new parent tried selling it to put her through music school. however every time they sold it, it returned mysteriously. This is because it was given to the young girl by the darkin, and it was always supposed to remain with her for the future that darkin was crafting.

Here is where the theory gets much more.... complex. See Garen and Vi both have 2 scenario's that could have been shaped by this new darkin champion. We will start off with garens.

Scenario 1: Katarina was sent to kill Garen. Now Katarina had never disobeyed her father before. Why would she go for a high ranking general instead of her main target? Possibly because the darkin whispered to her to kill the higher ranking official so he could get to Garen, through katarina.

Scenario 2: this one is much more direct. The darkin whispers to Garen to fight the assassin Katarina to make him fall in love. Yeah simple and boring I know.

Now Vi has many theories wrapped around her and both scenario's are interesting to me. I don't know how many of you know this but Vi was in the gang with Jinx and Ekko both. However jinx is theorized to have been sane UNTIL vi left.

So Scenario 1 plays out with Jinx being lured / whispered to set off the bomb in the mine that traps the civilians that forces VI to question her morals and choose to save the people.

Scenario 2 however is a little more interesting than that. Gangs are a tight nit family (Which is why Jinx refers to Vi as her sister). So the darkin sets a trap. When it goes off vi has an internal conflict, which this darkin then takes advantage of and helps her choose to turn her back on her family. (Which then leads her to meeting caitlyn AND creating the jinx we know, and I love, today.)

So why are they all being shot in their release video's? My theory is that those aren't actually bullets, instead they are something to help empower those champions. This darkin returns to his previous charges to empower them somehow. Giving them all unique and interesting new powers other things that could help them.

Zed gets the power to totally control the shadows so he doesn't become Nocturne. Sona gets her voice back. Garen gets to pronounce his love or Katarina and stay a Demacian soldier. Vi I don't know what she'd be getting. Personally I think that all of this is nice. But there is another choice as well.

This Darkin is the Darkin of Punishment. He's punishing them for listening to him. All of these champions have done things that go against most morals or codes of honor. Zed chose power for his life. Sona Controls emotions. Garen Disobeys orders so he may see Katarina on the battlefield. Vi turned her back on her family. Notice that where all these champions were shot, have to do with what they did to get punished. While I don't know how sona getting shot in the neck relates to her controlling of emotion, I know the other three's semblances.

Zed chose power, letting the shadows flow into his mind. Garen Chooses Love over Orders. Vi turned her back on her Family.

Let me know what you all think.

I highly doubt he is related to the Darkins in any way.
