Passive: Gravitation Orbs - Orbitus uses his Gravitation orbs to use his abilities. None of his abilities are affected by Cooldown Reduction. Once every 10 seconds Orbitus generates 1 Gravitation orb, up to a maximum of 10 Gravitation Orbs. This passive is affected by cooldown reduction and has Double Cooldown Reduction.

Q: Gravitation Bomb - Orbitus takes on of his Gravitation Orbs and throws it in Target direction dealing 60/80/100/120/140 + (.25 AP) Magic Damage to the first enemy hit.

Empowered Gravitation Orb: Gravitation Bomb Deals and extra 30/50/70/90/110 + (.6 AP) magic damage and explodes dealing 40/60/80/100/120 + (.4 AP) Magic damage in a 500 wide AoE around the the first enemy hit. This ability Can't go through walls.

Cooldown: 3.5 Seconds Range: 750 Units Costs: 1 Gravitation Orb

W: Intensify - Orbitus increases gravity in a target area, slowing all enemies inside by 35% every .5 seconds for 2 seconds, and stuns all enemies still inside of Intensify for 1 second.

Empowered Gravitation Orb: Intensify Deals 20/30/40/50/60 + (.2 AP) magic damage every .5 seconds, and now slows for 70% per tick, and stuns all enemies inside of Intensify for 2 seconds.

Cooldown: 5 Seconds Range: 750 Units Area of Effect: 500 Units Wide Cost: 3 Gravitation Orb

E: Decsention - Orbitus consumes all of his Gravitation Orbs to deal 25/30/35/40/45 Magic damage per orb + (.15 AP) and stun for .1 second per orb.

Empowered Gravitation Orb: Stuns the target for .3 seconds per Empowered Gravitation Orb Consumed

Cooldown: 7 Seconds Range: 400 Cost: All Gravitation Orbs

R: Continues Orbit - Orbitus replaces his Gravitation Orbs with 10 Empowered Gravitation Orbs. These Orbs are consumed by his other abilities, and are also consumed to reduce auto attack damage taken by 70/90/110 or 45% damage, whichever is greater. Critical Strikes consume 2 orbs instead of 1, but only reduce the damage as if 1 orb was consumed.

Cooldown: 60 Seconds Cost: None

Edit: 1/21/2015: Switched Descension and Continues Orbit, as well as changed damage ratios to descension and added an Empowered Gravitation Orb Effect to Descension Edit: 1/23/2015: Added Base Stats, As well as changed some Base Numbers on Q to make it more Reliable, but lowered its overall scaling. Also Changed the wording on Continues orbit to avoid confusion about there being 20 orbs if he used his ultimate. Increased Q's CD by .5 seconds. Changed the wording in his Passive to make it clear that her generates 1 Orb per 10 Seconds instead of all of his orbs per 10 seconds.

Orbitus is One of Three Magus Designs I'm working On. I will have the Lore Written Soon, as well As his Concept Art as soon as I can find an Artist who is willing to help me create his splash art.

I feel like the E and R should be switched. Other than that it's cool to see another Gravity champion in the boards, nice to know I'm not the only person who thinks it would cool.

I will admit though, our execution is very different from each other...

Thanks for the Advice, I'll switch them soon, Going to have to do some different scalings to make Descension not broken as a regular ability. Mind linking your Gravity based Champion Concept So I can compare our Executions.

Having recently made my own Gravity themed champion, I've started looking around to see what ideas others have had. None of the champion concepts I've looked at so far are remotely similar to each other, though a few single abilities come close.

Nice gravity champion, there are so many ways to implement gravity on a champion, this is a good idea. I have a few questions for you: What do you mean by "has Double Cooldown Reduction" on the passive, CDR counts double all the time for the passive? Does the targeting system for W look like a triangle with the 3 orbs as corners? that would be so cool as a new targeting system. Do you think its ok to have 2 abilities that stun? That's all and good job.

1st of All I'd Like to thank you for not only looking at Orbitus, but then following up with a comment and several good questions.

2nd To the matter at Hand.

His Passive gets twice the amount of CD that you build, So if you Built 40% CD the passive would have 80%. This comes with a rather steep price though because your abilities are not at all affected by CDR. Overall the Idea is to allow him as much access to his Gravitation Orbs as soon as possible due to the amount of Time that it would take to cast his spells without them.

The W would most likely look like a triangle indeed, mostly because yes it does require 3 Gravitation Orbs to cast. However as for how far out you could cast it, would still be circular away from you. So it'd be about 500 Units of Triangle Targeting, but still be 750 Circular units away from your character.

Now for the 2 stuns, the answer is yes it is perfectly fine to have 2 stuns on someone. As long as they are not reliable stuns. The W stun will only stun you if you're inside of the AoE after 2 seconds. And Descensions stun is so minute without using all 10 Gravitation orbs, (Or at least 4 Empowered Gravitation Orbs) that it isn't 100% reliable as Hard CC.

Triangles are cool, and i get you on the stuns

So as I stated in my First Post: There will be Two other Magus Joining Orbitus. I've now given this group of 3 a name. The Triad of Magus. Now I'll Also give you a small Leak as to what these other Two magus can do. How you might ask? Well, Since these two are still being designed (Kit, Story, What I want them to look like) I'll Give you their names and Let you Ponder on what they might be.

Ignus and Iqienus.

The concept of cooldown reduction is to reduce the cooldown of skill. Make a champion without cooldown reduction is interresting and it's a good compensation IF HE HAVE LONG COOLDOWN. The problem is that his passive (which double cooldown reduction) can go to 80% cooldown reduction and for 10 seconds of normal cooldown, this mean 2 seconds with max cooldown reduction. The passive is too strong and the compensation isn't enought. He should have longer cooldown on his abilities. He also have no mana, which is very strong for a mage. Next: How The Fuck can he be a tank. I think he should also have mana to make him more balance.

Well first off: Thanks for the comment on Orbitus, And even just looking at him.

Now to the more Juicy Stuff.

I understand (Sort of) what you're saying. But you also need to look at his Kit as a whole first without the passive, and how much each one of his abilities costs him. Q Consumes 1 of his orbs. W, consumes 3. E consumes all of them, and his ultimate costs nothing. Now look at the passive: It will take him at level 1 with no CDR 10 seconds to generate 1 orb. He may have up to 10 Orbs. That not only restricts him early game (Like, Honestly really, REALLY restrictive to his early game) But also forces how you'd play this champion compared to other mages. The only ability that you could recast the INSTANT its off CD is Q, and MAYBE E, if you want to use 4 orbs for a grand total of like... 180 MD and a .4 Second stun at level 18...

The whole reason he doesn't have mana is to make him more difficult to play. Plus not all mages in the history of gaming actually use mana. Some use other sources like Soul Shards, Orbs, Charges. Things like that. So this Mage is more based on an Ammo type resource. As to his Resource bar charge rate with 40% CDR (Which is 80% for the passive) it'd take him 20 seconds to fully recharge the bar, and even then, his Q is absolute garbage without the Empowered Gravitation Orbs.

As to the Tank portion, It has not only to deal with his Ultimate, but also to deal with the amount of CC he has, And the fact that he is going to be melee with Tank base stats. Now I'm still working on Base stats for all 3 of my Magus, But Orbitus's base stats will be the first to be released.

If you have any other questions about the Kit, Please, feel free to ask me. I'll gladly answer any questions you have, But Orbitus (And the other 2 Magus) Will always remain Mana free.

No offense to the creaters of many of the concepts on boards, but it feels like almost every new champ concept has empowered or additional ablities base on their ults or passive. That or they have some huge stat filled ult that changes their stance.
