it is literally their own concept art of azir in the early stage of creation

it would make a great skin imo, a bald eagle azir to pair with uncle ryze

Lore wise, azir was just a normal human being but was ascended and received his bird like structure.

I don't think azir could remove his mask, and what's under it wouldn't be who he truely was. He's kinda like mordekaiser, just dust under that armor (or sand).

This is wrong, if you look closely at Azir splash art on his arms and legs you'll see feathers.

I think the armor is built into his ascention seeing as he had no time to make any ascention Armor before his ascention failed and shurima was destroyed or at his rebirth

he can be named not unmasked but the bird of victory azir or something

a few champions have skins which contradict their lore, like metallic skarner/khazix etc

mecha khazix has no lore but skarner and other battle cast skins are part of viktors lore

They don't so much contradict their lore but change their beings into robotic creatures.

Battlecast skarner is regular skarner but turned into a cyborg due to viktor. Kha'zix evolved to the point where he became machine and no longer flesh.

The different with ryze is ryze is a fleshy human (like?). He just needs the clothes he's wearing already changed to make uncle ryze work.

Azir can't remove his mask cause there is literally nothing there, he's sand held together in armor.

The only things you can change about azir is the appearance of the armor itself.
