How did Project Ekko not come out in this event?...
I mean, it's such an obvious fit...

Obvious? How so? Ekko seems no more fit for a Project skin than any other humanoid in the game.
He has a time machine, is a genius, and is a melee carry/caster... 4 of the 6 are melee carries (Leona can carry), they all share skill sets that allow for vibrant effects. Ekko's skill set would be as flashy if not flashier then the rest with this theme.
