New Champion Concept That Could Fix (at least parts of) the Game

Hello! So, recently I was on the boards and I was reading all of the "oh this game sucks," etc., etc. And, I came across a post that complained how people could camp lanes into infinity with no punishment. So, I came up with the concept that completely obliterates that problem. He is an insanely long ranged mage who would act as a support in the bot lane or a mid lane champion. Something makes me think his scalings would be really low to avoid abuse of his range. (FYI, I don't really know how to format all that well on the boards, so sorry about the messy setup).

Passive - Static Electricity

This champion can't self cast spells or abilities. However, he does get a small shield that starts at 100 HP and goes up by 2 HP every second he is alive. When the shield is broken, he gets a small speed boost and the shield goes on a 15-second cooldown before coming up at 100 HP again.

Q - Storm Orb

When cast, you through a big cannon ball somewhere within a very large range (like from bot lane almost to the dragon or something like that), and it deals a small-to-medium amount of damage to that area. It also reveals the area. The range is longer with ranking it up.

W - Wind Gust

It is sort of like Yasuo's wind wall except for champions. Projectiles can go through it, but when you cast it, it knocks back all champions in that area. Then, if they want to go through, they do so at a slowed speed. It gets wider with rank and the slow is intensified as well.

E - Thunder Shield

It is a point and click shield with a medium range. When cast, it gives the allied champion a small shield and a speed buff. Any champion that breaks the storm shield takes damage equal to the attack that broke it.

R - Typhoon

When you press R, it creates a HUGE ring around him (like, from bot lane to half way to mid lane) for 12 seconds. Any enemy champions in the ring when it activates are shoved to the right a bit. However, after this the area in the ring is revealed. Enemies are slowed when they enter the ring, but not after they enter it. Any enemy champions in the ring get struck by lightning every 4 seconds. This silents them for 1/2 a second and deals a small amount of damage.

So, that's the champion I came up with. He would kind of be a storm god, spirit, etc. kind of guy. I took inspiration from Azmodan from Heroes of the Storm and, of course, Yasuo, ironically one of my least favorite champions. Is this a good idea? Make sure to vote!

I like the idea! ONE thing I will add is that I can't see any clear playstyle/combos for him, but that's it. Also, how would this fix the meta?

I like the idea of a support champ with range to try and fix the issue you talked about but i feel that the range you have given him seems a little too big maybe. Also, the idea of a storm god type character is definitely interesting but for his Q ability, where does the cannon ball come from if everything else is based around lightning and stuff? I like the concept but its just the minor things that i wanted to talk about.
