LoL not Opening

Hi! I was wondering if anyone know how to fix this problem: Whenever I click the LoL thing on my desktop, the logo comes up, but the actual game never starts. This has been happening for about 2 days now. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it.

p.s. - i'm not really sure if this should go under Report a Bug or General Discussion

EDIT: I've tried to open it as administrator, and PBE still works as normal. Thanks!

open task manager and exit all instances of league through there, then try starting the game up.
