New Champion Concept
So an idea recently poped into my head for a new support champion. What about someone who killed themselves to benefit others? Here's what I was thinking: Firstly, he/she would be a wayward spirit with maybe a split personality thing. He/she would be stuck in a sort of limbo, where they cant die or truly live, so people are scared of them. The 'living' side of them would want to help people, but gets shunned because, well, they are half dead, while the spirit is focused on revenge and just pure hatred from them being killed by "insert whoever here". They would wander runeterra, doing things like either helping people, or going berserk and killing them, depending on the constant struggle between the 2 personalities. Currently I cant think of a name for them, but i have some ideas on abilities as well as the previously mentioned concept.
Passive: A small % of their resistances are converted to % of hp, but they get half the normal benefits of building resistances. (so they arn't stupidly op with tons of hp and resistances)
Q: It would be something like a heal that adds a bit of resistances to the target, sort of like galio shield and soraka heal, but with less power and no shield component.
W: Throws part of their lifeforce, corrupting it, rooting/slowing the enemy and doing decent dmg, but not much, since it would more focus on the slow or the root. The slow or root would scale in level, and possibly do more dmg the more hp you have, sort of like the ratio on Braum's Q. It would be thrown sort of in an arc, like xerath ulti.
E: Commands their spirit part to latch onto an enemy, sort of like old swain Q without the tether. It wouldn't do any dmg, but it would be sort of like a mini exhaust that with each level, reduces the amount of dmg the enemy does by % percent, or can latch onto an ally that reduces dmg taken by %. There's a limit to how much dmg is reduced on whoever you throw it on, and it only reduces basic magical and physical dmg, so lethality, armor piercing, or magic piercing can reduce its overall efectivness.
R: Gives you the option to end your current life, granting a 25%/35%/45 or 50% max hp shield to the target. While you are 'dead', you are sort of like a karthus ghost, but attatched to the person you gave the shield to for however many seconds. However, after you press R, you are still considered dead, so you cant use their Q since they are used with the human looking side, or the "living" side, so no healing or resistances, but you can use your W and E. To make sure this isn't op, however, they would have to use a % of current hp along with mana to do things.
To clarify, Q: it would take a certain % to use, like other healers like nami or soraka use, or takes off a certain amount. W. it would throw a portion of their energy or some sort of mystic force to use it, so that would take some health off due to them literally ripping a part of them off. E: It wouldn't cost health to use, HOWEVER, the dmg that is reduced on either parties, a % of that dmg reduced is dealt to the character, but if it reaches a certain limit, the spirit would come back. I guess sort of like a mini knights vow, except a tad weaker. R: You would need to decide weather its worth it or not during fights to sacrifice yourself to give someone a shield, and only be able to use your E or W, doing reduced dmg and effectiveness, or stay alive and cast the other spells.
I understand this might not even be close to becomming an idea, let alone being put into the game, but if there is any chance, it would be amazing. I just thought we have some tank supports, but what about a tanky support that instead of being frontline, you need to choose your moment to unleash your full potental, since youd need to either stay back and use your other spells, or go in with a carry by sacrificing yourself and giving them a shield, going agressive with your other spells. You would actually NEED to think before ulting, and plan your fights accordingly.
Tell me what you think about this, and how i should refine it, since im not the best at calculating the %ratios of the spells, and the name or concept isnt truely finished, but critique is apreciated by all.
Oh, and don't forget to pray to the lord urgod after reading and/or commenting. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
