Isnt placements supposed to ACTUALLY PLACE? As in you can play with someone whos also in placements? Why the fuck is the rank penalty in it? My friend is barely getting lp so hes stuck in bronze 4 while the past 2 games ive been skyrocketing with wins, how the fuck is that fair? We should be getting the same or similar lp for a win. NOT TO MENTION he was gold 1 last season and i was plat 2, yet i got put to silver 1 but he gets put in iron 1? What the fuck is wrong with you riot, thought you said youd fix this kind of thing.

then dont duo placements. technically all youre doing is artificially inflating his rank, unless you both were at some point in plat.

in either case, your face rank for the first placement game you play is going to always be poor. by the time you finish you both should at least a tier or two below your last rank.

Yeah this season is already starting off funnn. I've seen a lot of people that were mid plat starting down in Silver.. like what? I was high Silver and it has ALWAYS started me off in at least low Silver but this time I'm at the bottom of bronze. There's something completely off in the system.
