Slice and Dice, the Twin Shadows

Just a rough draft for a character concept I'm working on. Mostly just a layout of how their abilities will work, I haven't gotten too into the specifics of balancing damage and cool downs. I plan on doing some more tweaking when I get a chance but these are just some concepts I came up with while thinking about what I'd want to see in a new assassin. I don't think any of it sounds too far-fetched to try to balance or implement into the game. Any feedback or notes would be appreciated, thanks, enjoy.

Slice and Dice the Twin Shadows Yordle Assassin siblings, one male one female, with your typical dark toned assassin gear, Slice(female) sports black and blue, while Dice(male) wears black and purple. They wield a kusarigama for their main weapon and carry a shinjato shortblade for when their disarmed. Classic burst and escape style gameplay with some twists for extra utility. Able to decide between an AP or AD playstyle without making hybrid builds overpowered. You have to make the decision very early into the game based on the comp, and if you choose wrong you can change builds mid game at the cost of slower item spikes.

Passive: Character and Abilities change based on adaptive damage. More AD lets you play as Slice and more AP lets you play as Dice, each having their own benefits. All abilities scale based on their respective damage types.

Additionally gain bonus resistances based on Adaptive Damage, scaling upon leveling. Armor for AP, Magic Resist for AD.

Q- Seeker Blade: Throw one end of your weapon in a target direction, dealing damage and attaching to an enemy. While tethered, you can throw the other end, dealing bonus damage if you hit the same target. If the second blade hits a wall or structure, it will snare your target in place for a short duration.

W- Shin Slash: Strike your target with a heavy slash to the shins, dealing damage and granting bonus attack speed for a short duration

(Slice): grants bonus movement speed for the duration (Dice): grants bonus magic damage to your auto attacks for the duration

E- Shadowstep: Briefly become un-targetable and gain true invisibility as you teleport behind your target, applying a damage over time effect upon arrival.

(Slice): Bleed effect that applies Grievous Wounds and does bonus damage per second (Dice): Poison effect that applies Slow, increasing in effectiveness over its duration

R- Double Trouble: Mark a target, after a delay Slice or Dice leaps from the shadows to assist you, dealing a small burst of damage and suppressing your target. Retain control of your Champion during the duration, allowing for escape or execution.

I think this champion concept would be better if you controlled both twins at the same time (kind of like having a Shaco clone around all the time).

One of the twins could be tanky with 150 AA range and the other could be squishy but have 550 AA range.

Let's say that Slice is the Tanky Melee one and Dice is the squishy Ranged one.

Your Ult could let you swap between controlling Slice or Dice.

Then, you could give Slice a lot of CC abilities and have Dice have a lot of mobility (dashes and/or blinks).

They would both scale off the items you build but (just like Pyke) Dice would get AD instead of HP whenever they build health.

HoTS has a similar concept with The Lost Vikings so I know that it's possible (if not necessarily popular). However, I think that lowering the amount of characters from 3 to 2 might make things easier. Plus, Shaco mains have to do this sort of thing all the time when they're using their Ult, so there might be some people at least willing to try it...
