Skoll, The Wolf of the Blood Red Moon

“Children of the blood red moon….. Walk with wolves…. Forsake mankind… Devour and feast….. Grow strong and fast…. Fulfill you destiny…. And devour the wretched Sun……” -Skoll

Hey! ^_^ here is my concept for the January CCOS Skoll, The Running Simulator The Wolf of the Blood Red Moon! (I can't change the tittle:/)

Appearance: Skoll is a young teen, around 16/17 years old. He has unruly brown hair and hazel eyes(They turn red during his ult). he wears a kilt made of various animal furs mostly grey fur from wolves with a greyish undershirt made of lighter furs. he also brownish fur boots and wields what was once a short sword but has been twisted into a sickle.

Short Lore:

If one were to look at Skoll it would be rather confusing as to why the Targonians call him the “Wolf of the Red Moon”. For one Skoll isn’t even a wolf but rather a scrawny teenage boy dressed in a pathetic rag made up of mismatched furs while clutching a rusted old sickle, a sight that would any Targonian soldier would laugh at. But on closer inspection one would realize that the reddish fur covering his back bears a striking resemblance to the fur of Briar Wolves and that the brown fur lining his crudely crafted boots could only come from Dire Bears, some of the most fearsome beats of the Targonian wilderness. On an even closer inspection any Targonian would realize from the broken hilt of his rusted and twisted sickle he’s carrying once belonged to a famous Targonian hero who recently disappeared into the woods…. And if one were to look into his eyes he would see the bloodlust and experience of this boy was beyond any normal human. And then one would realize this isn’t a normal boy but a savage beast that Targonian regard as a “wolf”.

Skoll is one of the Children of the Red moon, a symbol of the Moon’s fury over the destruction of the Lunari. When the Solari destroyed the Lunari the Moon in its rage turned red and cursed various orphans and outcasts of Mount Targon granting them the speed and strength of wolves, turning them into savage beasts that hunted down and devoured members of the Solari. In retaliation the Solari raged battle with the Moon and its monsters, they eventually defeated them and ever since then the moon has yet to turn red again and more Children of the Red Moon have yet to appear. But recently the Moon has claimed another child to exact its bloody revenge. Skoll has haunts the wilderness of Mount Targon slaying and devouring any Targonian that sets foot in his domain. The Solari has sent some its finest member to slay him only to find themselves hunted and devoured. To the Solari And those who reside on Mount Targon Skoll is a fiend, a human that has gone mad and become nothing more than a monster.

But that’s what the Targonian think…..

Long Lore: Please note this is the first draft and subject to change and probably has a ton of grammer issues. I'll fix it in the final version.

Note: The story is Skoll telling a sleeping Diana who he calls "Sister" what happened to him today and his uncertainties. However even though he loves Diana as a sibling Diana considers him a abomination hence why he's telling her in her sleep.

Mother was really beautiful tonight huh sister? Haha! You probably spent all night praising her like those silly Solari you crazy nut! ……But to me….. Mother was blood red tonight…. When I was running through the oak glades a targonian attacked me. …Well….. That’s not surprising they kind of do that every other day Haha!… But ….I’m sorry…. I’ve got a lot of my mind tonight do you mind if I just…talk to you?....Thanks…..

I didn’t go into that grove looking for blood….Really I didn’t! I…Well…. Earlier today when I was out hunting I sensed the strangest creature. I heard it at first, something fearful and desperate was running around the woods. I thought it was an injured rabbit but it was too big to be one and it had the strangest scent…. So I decided to track it down, I thought I might find something delicious or some easy meat at least. So I tracked it down to the little aspen tree by the crooked river, you know the little tree that always flowers with white blossoms during the spring? Anyway hiding in a hole in the tree was a little targonian boy! Well…. I kind of learnt that the hard way! When I peeked my head into the hole he bopped me with as little wooden sword! I was so surprised that I just laid there on the ground until he came out and started to poke me with it! I wasn’t having none of it and started to chase him and just play fighting with him. Haha! I know it was silly but it was so much fun! You probably couldn’t imagine me a monster like that but…eh forget about it. I let him beat me in the end and kind of just played dead for a bit and he clamored on top of me with his sword raised like some kind of hero.

Haha! Anyway the little hero told me he had come all this way to hunt the fearsome wolf Skoll! I guess I’ve got to keep an eye out for that eh? But anyway he told he was lost and that he wanted to go home so I put him on my back and brought him all the way back to the city. But….that’s when I start to feel….I don’t know sad I guess? During the journey I just….no it was when he told me about his home. When he told me about his family, about his older brother that was training to be a warrior, about his father who would take him out hunting, and his mother who would….. A-Anyway I took the boy to his house and left. I don’t know why but I just couldn’t think, I just felt….sad…..

And that’s when the targonian got me. While I couldn’t focus he tried to stab my heart out, I tried and dodge but he got me good. I didn’t have any choice but to fight…. I couldn’t run away fast enough with the wound and besides….I was hungry…..

So I fought the targonian, I circled around him trying to get past his shield but he was pretty good. We fought for a good twenty minutes, he got some nicks on me and I got some scratches on him. That went on until he made a mistake, he forgot that I’m not human…… He disarmed me and tried to finish me off with his spear but I grabbed his hand in my teeth as he was swinging it at me. I bit down, broke his bones, chewed and ripped hand off…. His meat tasted rough….almost like bear….

He backed off and tried to escape but I rushed him down and got my teeth over his throat…..He tried to pry me off but he couldn’t get me off….. You know I…… I kind of didn’t want to kill him…. But he drew his sword on me so I had no choice…. I dug my teeth into his throat and ripped it out……..

Sorry…… After that I heard shouting….. A group of villagers was coming to the site of our battle. I left as the as the villagers started crying over the body of the warrior….

I really am a monster huh?

You know as I was leaving I couldn’t help but feel the same feeling as when I was bringing the little hero back…. The person I killed he had friends didn’t he? He had a family? He had people that cared about him….. Have you ever felt that before Sister? People that care about you? Well you have me but…..if you woke up….you would try to kill me like everyone else….

Kit: ** Passive: The Endless Hunt** For every 1 second Skoll is moving he gains a stack of The Endless Hunt. For every stack he has Skoll gains 20 move speed capping at a max of 5 stacks. Skoll loses a stack of The Endless Hunt for every .25 seconds he stands still.

Skoll also gains a flat 40 movespeed when he's in combat. He loses the movement speed once he's no longer in combat. Combat is defined as having dealt damage to an enemy champion in the last three seconds.

Explanation: This was the first ability I created for Skoll and the ability i wanted to base him around. Skoll was created to be a champion that excelled at roaming and putting tons of early map pressure and this allows him to do that. it allows him to gank, countergank, invade, chase and pretty much be everywhere on the map. However he pays for it by having mediocre burst which forces him to play hit and run.

Q: Fang and Nail Skolls rushes at his target and slashes him dealing 3/4/5/6/7 percent of his targets CURRENT health (+.20 of Total AD) and slowing for 15% for 1 second. Skoll will also apply a mark that lasts for 1.5 seconds, if Skoll can get two AAs or abilities on his target during the 1.5 seconds his second AA/ability will do an additional 40/ 70/ 100/ 130/ 160 (+.50 of Total AD) as bonus physical damage and causing his target to bleed. The bleed deals 10/15/20/25/30 damage per second as well as 1 (+0.25 for every 50 Bonus AD) percent of the targets CURRENT health as physical damage. The bleed lasts for two seconds but if the target moves the bleed's duration increases by 1 second up to a cap of 5 seconds.

Range: 150 Mana: 50 Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8

Visual Note: Skolls hacks at his target's legs to impair him and on procing the mark he roars and vivaciously hacks his target causing them to bleed.

Explanation: Skoll's bread and butter, the percent health damage and the damage for procing the mark make up most of his burst. The current health is mainly becasue I want Skoll to have decent damage but have trouble finishing off targets outside his W which needs them to be VERY low. i chose to put the damage behind the mark to create some for of counterplay to Skoll's damage, if you get marked use your CC or escapes during the mark to stop the majority of Skoll's damage.

The bleed works with Skoll's passive, with it he can use the bonus speed to escape or continue chasing. it also forces his target to choose between running but taking more damage and giving Skoll a speed boost or staying still and letting Skoll reset his cooldowns and heal up.

W: Devouring Frenzy Skoll attempts to devour his target. Skoll bites(Point and click spell) at his target and deals 40/ 65/ 90/ 115/ 130 (+.45 of Total AD) as physical damage. For the next 4 seconds if Skoll moves he will heal 5/6/7/8/9% of his missing health each second. if Skoll uses Devouring Frenzy to proc the mark left by his Q he will instead heal 5/6/7/8/9% of his total health each second

If the target is underneath 15% of their total hp Devouring frenzy does 40/ 65/ 90/ 115/ 130 (+.80 of Total AD) +5% of missing hp.

Mana: 40 Cooldown: 8/7.5/7/6.5/6

Visual Notes: Skoll lunges at his target and tries to bite his neck.

Explanation: Skoll's pseudo execute and sustain, this ability allows him to regenerate some of the health lost during his trades allowing him to constantly keep up his hit and run style(explained later). It also allows him to finish off targets that he brings to 15% health(But honestly you could do that in two AA's depending on the target.)

It also forces him to make a decision while using his Q, do you Q-AA-W for a bigger heal and reliable proc or Q-AA-AA-Q for a less effective heal and riskier burst but significantly more damage.

E: Feral Rush Skoll accelerates as fast as he can, for .5 second Skoll gains a 200% move speed buff and during this time he is immune to CC. If Skoll during his speed boost Skoll runs toward a small wall he’ll hop over it. Feral rush has a charge system similar to Velkoz’s W and Gp’s W. He is able to store up two charges. Feral Rush will also give him a single charge of The Endless Hunt when the speed boost ends. This buff ONLY takes his base movespeed into account, it will not scale with homeguards and boots.

Mana: 40/50/60/70/80 Cooldown: 6 Charge: 18/16/14/12/10/8

Gameplay Notes: -Skoll CAN cross thin walls and champion created terrain(Jarvan ult, Trundle Pillar, Anivia Wall, etc.) with Feral Rush.

-This is NOT a cleanse it renders him immune to CC.

Visual Notes: During the rush Skoll gains an animation similar to Sion's ult or Project: Master Yi's ult but white.

Explanation: Skoll is INCREDIBLY susceptible to CC, not only is his only means of defending himself pure speed which doesn't mean anything when you can't move for two seconds but defensive items scale pretty badly on him since he ideally shouldn't be in combat with his fast burst and speed. This skill allows him to get around this with careful timing, however he has to becareful how he uses it. it also serves as his gapcloser if he uses it going all in is going to be incredibly risky.

R: Wrath of the Blood Red Moon

Active: Skoll selects a champion within a 800 range, once he does the screen of all players are tinged dark red and all enemies have their restricted vision of Skoll, they can only see Skoll when he’s within 600 range of them(think of Eve’s passive but without the cloak). The champion that Skoll selected is marked with a debuff, the mark takes .5 seconds to form and is represented by a red moon hanging over the target, the mark and all the effects of the ult lasts for 8/10/12 seconds. Skoll’s damaging abilities have different effects when used on an enemy inflicted by the mark(mostly just changed total/current hp to missing hp). If Skoll kills his target the red night lasts for more 6/8/10 seconds and Skoll can mark another target. Cooldown: 120/ 110/ 100 Mana: 90/100/110

Changed Abilities:

Pretty much all his current health damage now does missing health and his ratios are bumped up a little.

Q: Fang and Nail Skolls rushes at his target and slashes him dealing 3/4/5/6/7 percent of his targets MISSING health (+.20 of Total AD) and slowing for 15% for 1 second. Skoll will also apply a mark that lasts for 1.5 seconds, if Skoll can get two AAs or abilities on his target during the 1.5 seconds his second AA/ability will do an additional 50/ 80/ 110/ 140/ 180 (+.60 of Total AD) as bonus physical damage and causing his target to bleed. The bleed deals 10/15/20/25/30 damage per second as well as 1.5 (+0.25 for every 50 Bonus AD) percent of the targets MISSING health as physical damage. The bleed lasts for six seconds and if the target moves during the bleed the damage is doubled.

W: Devouring Frenzy Skoll attempts to devour his target. Skoll bites(Point and click spell) at his target and deals 40/ 65/ 90/ 115/ 130 (+.80 of Total AD) as physical damage as well as 5% of missing health. For the next 4 seconds if Skoll moves he will heal 5/6/7/8/9% of his missing health each second. if Skoll uses Devouring Frenzy to proc the mark left by his Q he will instead heal 5/6/7/8/9% of his total health each second

Gameplay Notes: -This DOES NOT impair vision like Nocturne's ult. it only gives Skoll a pseudo Eve passive as well as the executing mark.

Visual Notes: Skolls roars/shouts at the sky bringing forth the blood red moon.

Explanation: This is Skoll's cleanup mode, it flips his current health to missing health and lets him pick off weakened targets and pretty much cleanup a teamfight. The counter play to this is to protect the champion being marked to prevent him from resetting or if losing getting the marked champion far away from the others while everyone else runs for it.

Playstyle:

Hit and Run: Skoll lacks a lot of up front damage and nor does he do a lot of consistent damage, he isn't like Talon who can 100-0 someone in a single rotation or Kayle who can consistently put out high damage. Instead his damage comes up in moderate bursts with short intervals and this is why he must employ a hit and run play style; his full rotation rarely 100-0 some one becasue of low damage and percent of current hp so he goes in does damage to someone, gets out, waits for his cooldowns and repeats the process until he can start executing with his ult.

Early Game: A good early game is key to playing Skoll, during this time he must take advantage of his passive and use it to constantly roam and pressure the map by ganking, counter ganking, and invading. Skoll lacks a fast clear so if he wants to stay even with the enemy jungler he has to compensate for the lost gold through pressuring the map.

Mid Game: Skoll power during the mid game. Upon gaining his ult Skoll can now effectively duel, it flips Skolls percent health damage to missing health allowing him to kill any non tank in two rotation if he can catch them alone. Skoll will continue pressuring the map but now he can effectively duel and kill someone if their team doesn't respond in time.

During this time teamfights will start breaking out and Skoll will have to start playing a hit and run style, he can't simply just jump in and start wacking away. his only

Late Game: Skoll falls off rather hard during the late game, the carries and brusiers should now be approaching full build and it's dangerous for him to duel someone. because his burst comes in moderate damage with short intervals he cannot 100-0 someone, this gives his opponents a huge window to burst him down making it dangerous for him to try and duel. Instead he has to focus on getting his ult off during teamfights and cleaning up.

Synergies With: Oriana, Rumble, Maplhite, Any champion with powerful AOE abilities.

While Skoll sucks in a wombo combo comp but his presence is welcome by champions with AOE abilities. During a team fight the counter to Skoll is grouping, when grouped he has to risk multiple people CCing him or bursting him making it hard for him to constantly get a hit in and get out. However champions with powerful AOE abilities encourage their enemies to spread to avoid the AOE, this puts the enemy team in a difficult situation. Do they group to fend of Skoll and put them at risk of AOE abilities or spread and slowly get hacked down by Skoll.

Xin Zhao, Gragas

Skoll likes it best when his enemies are spread out and these champions can forcibly do that.

Struggles Against:

CC Machines: Leona, Nautilus Skoll can resist CC but champions who have multiple forms of CC can simply bait the speed boost and bop him when it ends turning him into an easy target.

Instantaneous CC: Warwick, Lissandra, Malzahar

Skoll's only way to protect himself from CC is his E which is .5 second CC resistant speed boost, it's kind of hard to time it properly when your enemies CC happen instantly. These champions are capable of locking down Skoll and absolutely destroying him, well at least until he gets a silver sash.

Heavy Burst: Leblanc, Talon

His also way of defending himself is his speed which doesn't do much against champions that can point and click on him and burst him in a second.

Personality:

In combat or while hunting Skoll behaves like a beast,often using his teeth to rip flesh off his victim and going for the throat with his mouth like a mad dog. He is very cruel in combat using any means to win: he'll hack grievous wounds and watch as his victem's bleed, he'll off pieces of flesh off his quary while fighting, anything to win.

However his personality takes a 180 while he isn’t fighting, he takes on a more innocent and curious demeanor. He’s very inquisitive; he often spies on the residents of Mount Targon and tries to copy what they’re doing. He has tried cooking (with mixed results but he thinks it’s fun and keeps trying), he has tried to smith( That’s how his sword turned into a sickle), he has tried creating clothing(he was quite successful with that), he has learned how to talk from them( The only other source he has learned from is the moon and all it tells him to do is hunt and kill which isn’t particularly enlightening), and he tried learning how to fight from them but decided to stick to his own methods.

He regards the residents of Mount Targon with a curious and neutral approach. He does not go out of his way to hunt humans unless the moon tells him to. The people he kills all tried to kill him first and he retaliated or they were associated with the Solari and moon commanded him to kill them. He’s cannibalistic only because he grew up in the wilderness where food is scarce and many times hard to come by. So he considers it disrespectful and a waste to just leave a corpse on the ground. He doesn’t like to though he feels very uneasy about it.

Contrary to what most Targonians believe Skoll is fairly kind even compassionate in certain circumstances. He often helps people that wander around the wilderness by secretly guiding them and driving off beasts that attack them.

He's also a rather lonely individual, as the only child of the red moon left there's no one on Mount Targon who would willing become his friend. The people of Mount Targon will attack him on sight and the beats are no better. the only individual who's somewhat related to him, Diana also hates him leaving him rather lonely.

Relationships:

Diana: Diana regards Skoll as an abomination; she refuses to believe that Skoll is an avatar of the moon. She adamantly denies that a beat like Skoll could be associated with the moon. Diana will attack Skoll on sight and regards him as her enemy.

Despite Diana’s reaction to him, Skoll likes Diana and fondly calls her “Sister”. He’ll go out of his way to help her from the shadows: he’ll indirectly point her in the way of food and fight off any monster that stalks her when she travels through the wilderness.

Skoll is also rather jealous of Diana, the moon really doesn’t help him at all. It tells him to kill and hunt and gave him the ability to beckon a red moon but besides that it doesn’t protect him or grant him magical abilities like Diana. Skoll has always believed that to walk the path of the moon is to walk the path of beasts and wolves but if Diana is the true avatar of the moon than what is he?

Pantheon and Leona Both Pantheon and Leona like most of Mount Targon regard Skoll as a monster. Pantheon and the Solari have both arranged hunts to kill him but to no avail. Leona is a little fearful of Skoll as the prophecies of the Solari elder foretold that the Child of the Red Moon strive to devour her, the symbol of the sun.

Despite the hunts Skoll bears no ill will to either Pantheon or Leona. Unbeknownst to them he often hides along the edge of their city and spies on them. He admires Pantheon as a fighter and even though the moon wants him to kill Leona who represents the sun he has nothing against her.

Neat concept, love the idea of exploring champions that come from Mt Targon. Some of your abilities probably need to be addressed though.

Passive: The bit at the end about gaining the flat movespeed towards champs needs to go, it takes away from the back and forth you seem to be trying to set being rewarded for being on the move and being punished for staying still.

Q: As someone who has often overloaded abilities on the first try, I can tell you with confidence that this ability is overloaded. The bleed damage is just way too high. As the ability is stated now, with NO bonus AD your target will take 90% of their total health as DOT if they move. That's just too much. Take out the triple-damage bit from the enemy moving, or really scale back on the percentages. Also, the mana cost seems too low for how much damage this move can deal with just one use.

W: Sort of the opposite of your Q, this ability needs a bit more power. An 80% slow is nice, but this should have some kind of damage attatched to it. From what I gather this is basically throwing caltrops at the ground, which would impair movement and cause some kind of minimal damage. Mana cost is pretty damn steep too.

E: I'm a bit confused by this ability. A CC-resistant dash that ends with the champ throwing out a projectile attack, got that. But it states that it hits all enemy champions, so is this a targeted ability, or does the projectile come out in a cone/circular shape?

R: I really like this ult, definitely the gold star of the kit. Kind of a hybrid between Nocturne's and Zed's ultimates, and it fits very well. The only hitch I see is that the only ability on the kit that the ult would affect is the Q; now would this ability affect something like BotRK's active, or just his other abilities? If it's the latter, then perhaps change the wording to specifically effect just his Q.

Hey :D Here i am for a review ^^ I really like the idea of a ravaging beast boy, influenced (or cursed actually) by the moon. I am really looking forward to what you will be doing with the lore!! :D I'm a huge lore junky myself, and usually work on that part the most. I do however have a few notes on this. With this champion, you portray the moon as some evil source of power, very much in contrast to what Diana stands for and embodies. I don't know the full lore yet so you might give a perfectly valid reason for this, but its just something that came to mind.

His kit seems pretty straight forward and fits Skoll's character. Hunting and killing. Thats what its for. I just feel like it misses something...Theres not really something special going on with it that makes you feel WHOA COOL IM A SAVAGE BEAST BOY! but those are my initial thoughts.

His Q: I like the way you added a sneaky little damage tripling effect to it when enemies stand still. I do ask however, when will an enemy ever stand stil? Especially knowing you can do such a thing. Yes during an auto attack, but then you'd have to time the ability perfectly. Still i like the idea :) (maybe do something with your movement speed...that it does more damage if Skoll has more movement speed then the target.)

His W: Simple trapping ability. Slow might be a bit too much (like instant max level Zilean slow), but other then that its pretty solid. Not much to say about it.

His E: I actually spent like 5 minutes trying to come up with a name suggestion for this....I came with nothing...Sorry XP But the ability is actually pretty cool. I don't know why you added the slow to himself afterwards...maybe to balance it...but i don't really see the need for that. Maybe touch up the cooldown on this and its a prefect escape :D

His R: Gives me a bit of a Nocturn ult idea...but it fits the concept VERY well. I can imagine the enemy team panicking when their screen turns red (bit like how they now panic when Nocturn ults). I'll check back later when you add specifically what kind of Debuff you give the marked enemy.

All in all a very nice concept :) like the lore and the idea and looking forward to the complete story. Like i said i do feel like something is missing...i donno what but the kit just does not "jump out" for me....if that makes sense...But you said it was a work in progress so we shall see :)

Wolves are cool.

Right off the bat, though, he's hitting a similar fantasy to Warwick. They're both wolf-based hunters.

Your passive is...pretty ridiculous. You can actually forego boots because your passive is better than boots. That level of free movement speed is way too much.

The rest of the kit has one common problem in it - if you're ahead, Skoll snowballs uncontrollably and kills everyone's faces. If you fall behind, you are totally useless without any meaningful CC.

Special mention to his W, which flips the bird to any attempt at counterplay. The logical course of action when faced with a stupid-fed wolf guy in your face is to run away. Bleeding out your max HP because you're running just means you die either way.

You'll probably want to tone down the feast-or-famine gameplay on him and give him some useful utility outside of face-ripping. You should definitely remove the passively-ramping move speed - it's literally Sivir's passive on steroids. The ult honestly isn't that impressive at what it does - if the Q is that weak that you need to change it to flat damage, you should probably be changing the base Q in the first place.

Lore : Wow, actually that's a really cool idea! It's creepy and very unique to the setting of the game. I love it! Especially the cannibalistic vibe. I don't think Riot would ever go for something like that, but I'm inclined to think that's a cool idea if it's done well. However, I think there should at least be a mention of Diana in there, but nothing huge. Basically, does she know about this guy? Does he know about her? Maybe a hint about how they would react to each other? The taunt interactions don't say much other than that he seems to feel a sense of kinship towards her. Maybe that's enough... I think what you did with the relationship is really cool, but IMO this should be expressed outside your own comments. If this was a real champion, how would you convey this info? I suppose you could say through a Dev's Q&A, but I find that a bit unsatisfying. Keep in mind those are just some thoughts from someone who loves lore! I'd also love to know what he thinks about his own situation. Satisfied? Malcontent? Resigned? Is he too feral for such thoughts?

Kit

Passive It seems like a lot of movement speed is being tacked on this guy and I'm not sure why. I suppose it's to serve as a gap closer, but he has his E for that. It looks to me like he's simply way, way too sticky, to the point where he doesn't need all that movement speed to function. This leads me to ask why all this excess mobility is there in the first place. Can't you do something else? Put power away from this overwhelming mobility and into another thing?

I have a crazy idea. I'm just throwing it out there. It's something I used for in an old kit of mine (never posted it, though) and keep in mind that the whole kit was designed around this passive. Anyway... Since this guy is a lot about moving... What if he could move while perform his basic attack animation? He's melee, so that wouldn't be nearly as abusive as that would be on an AD carry and obviously while moving he would have to stay within his own attack range of his target. Just throwing that out there! :P

Q Damage seems a little high, but seeing as that's his main source of damage I suppose that's fine. However, it seems odd to me that the bleed's duration increases when your target moves, considering the fact that this guy's threat does not ramp up significantly as he stays in melee range (compared to say Mordekaiser or Darius). I'm honestly thinking that this is mostly a skill that would be effective against noobs (not good) or mostly useful when used while one of your allies can create a threat large enough to force your target to move (which is better, but this guy's loner lore makes me think you should shy away from cooperative abilities).

W A bit boring, quite frankly. I also think an AA reset makes triggering his Q a bit too easy. The healing part is interesting, but I'd suggest not making it scale with damage done, because then that means it's power will fluctuate a lot depending on his target's armor. I believe it's healthier to have more streamlined healing potential than one with a high degree of variance.

E Cool! I really like the hopping over walls part! Would be super cool from a visual standpoint.

R The passive seems fine, if a tad boring. It does emphasize Skoll's desire to be constantly moving, however. Can't judge the active since it's not there yet :| From what I understand there's supposed to be some sort of execute in there. Might explain all the current HP damage. I have to admit I'm a bit curious as to why he does so much current HP damage.

Overall I think there are cool basic ideas here, but that you should push more the whole keep moving thing. Aside from that, I don't really feel the feral beast vibe his lore exudes, nor do I really see anything about devouring people.

Passive: you should never stand still voluntarily, so this is always up unless you get chain stunned or attack too much in melee (!). In a 1v1, if the other guy just stands still, your ult is useless...

Q: A bit complicated, but I like it other than the percentage damage (this should not be a tank hunter; also if you have 465+ total AD, this is an instant kill regardless of health!). Zileas hates rupture, but Zileas didn't stop Illaoi from going through, so w/e.

W: Um, that heal is pretty crap - 20% of fairly low damage (potentially less damage than an auto attack). This time the movement requirement does add value in that you can counter the heal by stunning him, but really, this ability needs a numbers buff.

E: Cool! The speed boost is neglegible (you gain 75 units, slightly less than one Teemo width) but the soft counter to cc is interesting and entertaining.

R: Not seeing the point of speeding up animations - make it give each ability two charges and I'm fine with it. Also too much percentage damage is toxic because it just shits on bruisers. This has no active, and doesn't say how much charges you get for moving.

Overall: Creative and original, but how is this guy supposed to initiate and stick? Gameplay is basically Udyr - you walk towards the enemies and hope they don't dash/blink/leap/etc away. He has a soft counter to CC, but even a slow will do him in. Buffing E could work, giving him a choice between burning it to avoid CC or using it to catch up.

Hey there!

Sorry I didnt get around to this earlier, but there's my review.

Passive: It feels like you have a much stronger DMP for a passive. I mean, an extra 60 movement speed is huge when you're roaming around in the jungle, and you can get to and clear camps much faster than any other person. It also makes it so you can actually afford to buy boots later which means more combat stats earlier. I'm not too sure about this in general, but the extra 40 movement speed a second in combat (is there a cap for this? Wording implies it infinite scales) means that if you're fighting someone, they definitely aren't getting away unless they have crazy mobility tools of their own (ex. Kalista)

Q: Feels somewhat like WWs Q. In addition, there is tons of hidden power here which is not very significant, and even more strongly nullifies the counterplay to this ability. I can't run, so I have to fight you. But if I can't fight you, I can't run and I take more damage in the first place. Riot have said that they don't do abilities like Rupture for a reason, and that is because it's effectively a no-win situation. It's either you stand there and let Skoll maul you to death if he's fed enough, or you run away and die because the bleed gets you. It's not fun if you're targeted by this and the only way I can think of removing this is QSS. You shouldn't have to rely on an item to counter you, and even if you do, shouldn't be a situational last item on many builds.

W: Does grave damage mean grievous wounds? If it doesn't I suggest shifting the wording because it's fairly misleading right now. The damage isn't spectacular as well. If you're healing a maximum of 20% of the damage over 4 seconds, and only when moving, it just seems ignorable when I could just build flat lifesteal and be much more effective without it.

E: The dash system is really awkward. You're moving quickly, but there are also countereffects to being CC'd? Yeah, it's not very intuitive, and just seems to 'present' counterplay for the sake of doing so, and tbh, that just feels forced. I would recommend that that you just make it a simple dash and add some effects like lifesteal for X seconds, or for X hits, because right now, I feel its just awkward to double-down on mobility with a dash and MS.

R: This ability is a lot more powerful than you're giving it credit for. It's effectively a Nocturne ult for what it does, but also implies some sort of stealth system for Skoll? It's also not terribly interesting, just a 'focus this guy gaiz' kind of ability, and I really think that you could have gone much further with this as it feels somewhat underwhelming as an ultimate, particularly since Nocturne has something similar. I do like the partial transformation mechanic, but I also feel that it can be made more into the focus of the ability rather than a side-effect because it seems something that can be focused on very well.

Don't know but just my thoughts I think his Q and W are a bit too much sustainy and the Q IA a bit overloaded other than that I like it. And all the % damage is a bit much and too reliant on external factors

Lore - I really enjoyed the lore. It is a great example of lore, as you truly understand the character and their actions, with an oddly eerie undertone and I loved it. I would personaly like a bit more acute description. If he's and animal and it's coming from his perspective, I would assume he would have a lot better eye sight and hearing, and adding this would further deepen his personality and connections the reader makes. Also, pls don't have a personality tab. It is my biggest pet peeve with champion concepts. You should be able to learn the personality of the champion through their quotes, lore, and kit. If it is a cohesive champion, then this is not needed.

Passive - I'm a good fan of this passive. I normally don't like just straight stat bonuses, but this passive is thematic and resonant to the character that you are showing. The movement speed bonus when in combat is also nice, showing that when he finds blood, he wont give it up.

Q - You clearly show that this is the engage tool for Skoll, and I like the mark you added. It is a nice ability that has some good counterplay to it. I dont like the bleed effect lasting longer if they move, because it is just anti fun. It may be a good punishment for being alone and getting marked, but it would just frustrate players. It also removes the counterplay of kiting and peeling you off your target.

W - I really am liking this mark passive. Giving the ability to either deal extra damage or heal for the mark is a nice mechanic. However, he is starting to sort of turn into warick. The movement speed, the heal, the missing health damage.

E - I really love this ability. Having the o.5 second to make a descision is really nice for the fast paced gameplay. You either run away, jump over the wall, dodge CC, or chase. It may be 200% but because of the really low duration it gives you that "thrill of the hunt". This is my favourite ability on his kit so far. Good Job!

R - Abilities that restrict vision are always annoying to deal with, but i prefer this way more to nocturn's. You can still see your allies and all enenmies except for Skoll. He has amazing clean up aswell, with the massive movement speed he can gain, he just jumps from one person to another. He also just has super strong burst, and sustain damage.

Overall, I think Skoll is pretty OP, and would prefer for him to not be a wolf like warick, with similar abilities. I think they are just too similar, both in kit, personality, and playstyle.
