Desafiador: The Indomitable Hero of Legends

Explanation: Desafiador is a Fighter/ Assassin Hybrid who has amazing mobility and comboing of abilities. His kit is greatly combo based and as a result leaves his abilities on cooldowns more often and leaves him weak in dueling while in the early game lane phase. Backstory: These accounts were sent to the Piltover History Museum by a man named Desafiador who left as soon as he dropped them off. These were recorded by his Bard/ Eternal Companion/ Friend of Fortune and are not considered candid until stated other wise. A small town between the borders of Demacia and Shurima from where he was born state them to be real. Cross checking confirms this, still waiting for results. The “Epics” are shown below The Day of Desafiador: One night a beautiful young woman was walking along the beach alone when she found a cradle on the waves. This cradle soon came ashore with a fair child sleeping within, but no sign of the mother. The young woman took the cradle and cared for the child for many years. By now he had three great feats under his belt. Before he could even walk he rode a black bull that no man had been able to stay on before him. When he took his first steps he out smarted and killed El Perro del Demonio plagued the village with only what was in his mother's house. When he was old enough to learn his first profession he had beaten the legendary ghost swordsman Espada and learned his secrets, making him the champion of the village. The young woman was met not soon after that by an older woman who bore the eyes of Desafiador. She asked not for the child, but that the young woman raise the boy with morals of right and wrong. So began the story of Desafiador and became such a legend that when he left, they made an entire day for him to celebrate his greatness. The Dancer, Desafiador, and a love eternal: There was a time during Desafiador’s rise to fame where he met a travelling dancer. Desafiador was 19 years older from when he was found and the desire of his heart was at its peak, the dancers dance plucked at his heart's string with an invigorating pull. Though she was cloaked, her beauty and her dance shone through her drapes with the strength of a thousand suns. Enthralled, our hero Desafiador approached her with his heart open and said “Oh mysterious dancer, your beauty is greater than the rose that grows in the lone wastes, would you be so kind to share me your name.” The Dancer chuckled and teased our lovestruck hero “I may tell, but only if you can complete a task for me.” Desafiador was eager to prove himself and speaking with his heart said “Yes, whatever your task I shall complete it for you my Desert bloom.” So the dancer stated her task “You must defeat the local bandit lord Asesino on 1 on 1 combat.” our hero was to going to say something before she continued “Using only the art of dance.” our hero was a little daunted at first but his heart would not accept defeat “I shall take the challenge, and win your heart!” he was unsure at first but he would not let it get to him. His love gave him the will to find the way and so he sought inspiration. He looked to the tumble weeds and the snakes but found nothing, he watched the lone river and the waves of the sea and found nothing, he was lost. In the midst of his despair he heard a buzzing noise, it was a little gnat, nothing special and nothing important. Yet it annoyed and taunted him “I could help, but you would not be able to dance my dance, you will fail and she will find someone else. His despair turned to anger and he swatted at the gnat but he hits himself instead. This goes on for a few minutes before he stops and looks at the gnat in hovering in the air in a studying manner. Desafiador then realized how he would fight the bandit lord and gave thanks to the gnat before leaving to practice. He practised for 3 days before he stood before the bandit lord who held the mysterious dancer still clad in her cloak and held by the chains of a slave. Desafiador was enraged by Asesinos hideous display of his ownership and scolded the bandit lord with the ferocious heat of his words that came from his heart “How Dare you stand like some king and hold her by the chains of a slave!” The bandit lord was loud in his boast as the mountains trembled at his voice “I am a man of great wealth and I treat my property as I see fit.” Desafiador was not fazed by Asesinos presence “You are no man to hold a beautiful woman in chains like that, I vow I shall defeat you and take her to a place that shall respect her unlike you, you beast of a man!”. He was large and intimidating as he stood up in ferocious anger, like the Silverback Apes of the jungle. He looked at our hero who stood confidently into the bandit lords eyes and said “You wish to take my personal dancer, let’s see how you hold little stick boy.” He roared a beastly roar and charged our glorious hero. As Asesino ran to crush our daring hero Desafiador, but he brought neither sword nor bow to the battle, but instead he danced a wild chaotic dance and flung pages of jeers to the bandit lord. As with the battle between Desafiador and the gnat so too did the this dance leave Asesino smacking himself with every blow he swung. Soon the bandit lord was on the ground, not a bruise on his body belonged to the hands of anyone else but his own. Desafiador then released the young dancer from her chains. Her cloak fell off revealing a woman of fair skin and blond hair dressed as that of the swan, and she looked weak. Desafiador was dismayed, he only got to see her face and she seemed to be dieing. She looked at him and smiled, “don't worry” she said “I will make it.” She seemed to recover slowly as he took her to her home far away, a place named Piltover. As they travelled together the two seemed to fall in love almost like magic. As soon as they reached their she introduced our Hero to her father, a brilliant man of science. The father seemed worried about her, he also talked of how she wanted to join the League of Legends, a place where champions fight with great skill to prevent war and settle debates. Desafiador was compelled to take risks and said to Orianna’s father “I shall go there then, I would dare not waste what talent she taught me knowing she could die.” While the father did not respond, lost in his own thought, The Great Desafiador did not falter. He took challenges no man would dare do and easily beat them to gain the proper skill to meet the other champions head on, many including some of the champion themselves. many years later he came to join the League and prove his worth but only to find ruins. He felt ashamed that he was too late, and yet he also wondered where Orianna was. His first guess was her home in Piltover so he travelled their. There a surprise lay, his love Orianna was also there but rebuilt by her Father as a machine after her tragic death. Her memories seemed seemed to be there but the emotion were misplaced. His love for her never changed though, for if you love truly someone, nothing will stop that love. Physical description: A Tan skinned man with lofty brown hair and handsome green eyes wearing glamorous clothes with light paddings and armed with a Saber and a Battle Fan lined with metal blades.

Mental description: He is proud, Determined, kind hearted, But a little Headstrong.

Voice: Very Bold and projective, with a Hispanic accent.

These counters can stack up to 30 times and are used in his abilities. Every time Desafiador mixes one of his spells both spells will have their cooldown halved. Reasoning: This is simply the uniqueness of the kit. I want his movement speed to help build up Fleet Foot counters faster. I also don't want to encourage the mixing of abilities to Q: Fandingo: Passive: Desafiador also uses a Battle Fan and has a 10%/19%/28%/37%/46% chance (+5% per 50 AD) to bring out the fan in an attack that will slow an opponent by 2% for every Fleet Foot counter Desafiador has for the next 2 seconds. Active: Desafiador spins with his Battle Fan to channel the spell for 1.5 seconds before releasing a Dust Dingo that charges the closest enemy champion (Range: 610) dealing 95/110/125/140/155 (+.75 AP) Magic Damage to the target and half that damage to nearby enemy units (Range: 325 radius). He can cast the spell again every .5 seconds after the previous cast at the cost 3 Fleet Foot counters and each of these Dust Dingos will deal 35% of the damage to the same target. You can cast his W .5 seconds after the first Dust Dingo, this will summon a Ghost Sword at the cost of 5 Fleet Foot counters dealing 30/50/70/90/110 (+.75 AD) damage to all units damaged by the Dust Dingo, ignoring 30% of their Armour and slowing them by 20%. Casting his E while channelling the spell will have him move forward in a tornado for 6 seconds, bouncing off terrain, and becoming immune to projectiles and CC for the duration. He will also throw out Dust Dingos to all nearby enemy units (Range: 350) that deal 75/80/95/90/95 (+ .55 AP) Magic Damage and slowing them by 25%, if a an enemy unit is hit 3 times consecutively he will be knocked up for 5 seconds and be immune to all damage for the duration. Cooldown: 15 sec/14 sec/13 sec/12 sec/11 sec Reasoning: This spell can provide Constant Damage for the AP Ratio while also giving a strong source of crowd control. This mixed with other abilities allow you to keep foes on their toes. W: Espadas Fatal Blow: Desafiador flips into the air and thrusts his sword into the ground (Range: 590) dealing 130/145/160/175/190 (+.55 AD) points of damage to all units in the area (Range: 320 radius) followed by a straight dash forward (Range: 410). If a Champion is struck directly by the blade (Range: 85 Radius) the Champion and will take twice the damage and be slowed by 40% for .5 seconds. If he has 10 or more Fleet Foot counters he will not deal double damage or slow the target but will instead summon a Ghost Sword in front of him after he dashes. The Ghost Sword will charge at all champions who were damaged by the initial blow before the dash equal to half of his AD in damage while ignoring 30% of their Armor. You can cast his Q after the dash to send out a Dust Dingo to all targets who were hit by his W dealing 10/15/20/25/30 (+.95 AP) Magic Damage. Desafiador can cast his E During the first few seconds of his W to use his blade to slide back into position after impact slowing those who were hit by 35% for 2 seconds and knocking them out of the way. He will then jump back into the same position dealing 190/220/250/280/310 (+.7 AD) to all hit before and double the damage to those in range and snaring them for 2 seconds but Desafiador will also be snared in place for 2 seconds upon impact. Cooldown: 21 sec/19 sec/17 sec/15 sec/13 sec Reasoning: This is the bursty AD Damage within the kit that can provide amazing execution but might leave you vulnerable, this mixed with other abilities can provide a strong finishing attack E: Dance of the Gnat: Passive: Desafiador gains 5% Tenacity for every 5 Fleet Foot counter he has. Active: Desafiador will curve dash in target direction (Range: 520 in an Arc). 1 second after the first cast he can cast it again for 5 Fleet Foot counters for each additional cast. He cannot pass through Terrain with this ability, but he can use it to create really sharp turns by bouncing off them. You can control the whether the curve is long and smooth or sharp and sudden by moving the mouse in or out. While dashing Desafiador is immune to all forms of non instant applied CC (Winter's Bite, Mounting Dread, Etc) and non ult skill shots that hit him while he is dashing will be bounced back towards the general direction of the caster and acts as if it was casted by Desafiador. If he casts this with 15 or more Fleet foot counters he is also immune to basic attacks for that cast. He can also cast his Q while dashing to summon a swarm of Dust Dingos to deal 10/20/30/40/50 (+.35 AP) Magic Damage to all nearby enemy units (Range: 420) and slowing them by 15% for 4 seconds. He can cast his W near the end of the dash to dash forward (Range: 570) dealing 90/100/110/120/130 (+.7 AD) to all enemy units he passes through. Cooldown: 20 sec/19 sec/17 sec/15 sec/13 sec Reasoning: This is supposed to provide strong mobility and evasive play, this mixed with other abilities can provide mobile harass as well as strong survivability. R: Secret of the Dead: Passive: Whenever Desafiador uses an ability he will build a Wispy Step counter to a max of 15. Each counter 5 bonus movement speed, when Desafiador dies he will consume all of his Wispy Step counters then be covered by a cloud of dust and be revived after 1 seconds with 20% health, +3% for each Wispy Step counter consumed. He cannot gain wispy Step counters for 30 seconds afterwards and the spell will go on cooldown. preventing him from using the revive again. Active: At 15 Wispy Step counters you can activate this ability and expend all wispy step counters to transform Desafiador into his Ghost Form for 15 seconds gain 50% spell vamp and Lifesteal as well as removing 3 seconds from all Cooldowns and adding .1 Attack speed for each Fleet Foot counter Desafiador has. During this time Desafiador will move at a flat 550 movement speed rate that does not increase or decrease for any reason and all his abilities become Spirit Strike. Spirit Strike: Desafiador swings his sword and Battle Fan in an artful fashion summoning a Giant Falcon to attack target enemy dealing damage equal half of Desafiador’s combined AD and AP (Cooldown: 20/16/12 sec). After Ghost Form wears off he cannot gain Wispy Step counters for 50 seconds. Cooldown: 150 sec/130 sec/110 sec Reasoning: His ultimate is supposed to provide enhanced movement and amazing combat sustain for Desafiador without going overboard. He has to choose between his passive Guardian Angel or his Ghost Form depending on the scenario, a wrong choice could lead to a free kill for the enemy. Move: Walks tall and proudly “Like the dust in the wind”, “With the grace of a swan”, “Off to Adventure, off to Glory!” Attack: Strikes with his sword, crits will have him slash twice in an X motion. “Swift as the Serpent”, “Sharp as the Thorn”, If he uses his Battle Fan “Strong as the Wind” “Heavy as the Rock” When Snared by his W he will kick his target and his crits will have him jump and kick the target with both his legs “This is not the first time I’ve done this” “It’s all in the legs, seriously” Joke: Brings out a Sombrero then throws it away “Hmmm, Too Cliche.” “No, I will not where this.” “Desaaaaafiador… nope.” Taunt: Swiftly swings his sword artfully then sheaths it “Not even worthy of a story” “I've fought many great foes, you are not one of them.” “It takes skill to fight the strong, it’s best you work on yours.” Laugh: He puts his hands on his hips and lets out a loud carefree laugh, He can use this while casting his E. Dance: He raises his sword high in the sky and strikes a heroic pose, then bobs his head back and forth a bit Recall: Plants his sword on the ground, then sits on his sword and plays a guitar. When he gets there he will sheath his sword and stand up (in that order.) Desafiador will gain 500 bonus gold and a stack of 20 movement speed each time he kills Draven, Draven will get double the amount of benefits from his passive and start with 2 stacks of Adoration when he kills Desafiador. After 10 minutes the person who has killed the other more will get a passive bonus “Today's Glorious Victor” giving them a bonus 10% to their gold and experience increase, the loser will be marked with the symbol of the victor for the entire game and be laughed at by everyone when the victor is nearby (does not affect movement or ability casting, Range: 600).
