Calcifer was a fire spirit of immense power threatening to set all of existence aflame! Strengthened by the suffering caused during the Rune Wars, Calcifer began his conquest, leaving nothing but ash in his wake. Soter was the celestial warden, charged with imprisoning powerful demons that laid waste to the earthly plains. It was his purpose to keep the mortals safe from beings they could never hope to defeat, using his divine powers to restrain them and keep them hidden from human lands. When he heard of the horrors being unleashed on Runeterra, he confronted Calcifer, who proved to be a greater challenge than he had bargained for. His enchanted chains melted, all magical restraints instantly incinerated, and his strength drained by the constant harrying of Calcfier’s flame sprite army that obeyed the great demon’s demands. Unable to contain him by his normal methods, Soter used his last resort - trapping Calcifer in his own body, restraining his power within himself. It would take all of his celestial magic to maintain the prison, but the damage Calcifer could do to Runeterra would be devastating to the mortals. Even Soter’s celestial power could not contain Calcifer indefinitely, and Soter learned that he had to constantly release measured amounts of Calcifer’s energy to have any hope of keeping the spirit from breaking free. Realizing he was incapable of coping with this alone, he decided to turn to the mortals he had vowed to protect, and sought the powerful summoners of the League to help him find a magic strong enough to contain this awful spirit for good.

Passive(Drain the Confined):
Description: Soter draws on Calcifer's strength to fuel his abilities, weakening Calcifer. When Calcifer runs out of strength Soter transfers Calcifer from his body to the prison in his crook allowing Soter to use his celestial abilities again.
Details:
- Soter has a strength meter that represents Calcifer's current strength
- Drains 2 strength for every auto attack, doubled against champions
- After 20 seconds of not draining strength Calcifer’s strength starts to increase at a rate of 5 per second
- Maximum strength is 100
- Upon Draining all of Calcifer’s Strength Soter transfers Calcifer to his staff and regains his Celestial abilities for 20 seconds
- Cooldowns are shared between forms
Q(Scorched Sprite/Binding ):
Description: Sends out a "Scorched Sprite" to patrol a small section of map. When attacked the Sprite will charge towards the attacker. If the Sprite makes contact with an enemy champion it will attach to them Revealing that champion for a short time and also deal additional damage if the champion it is attached to takes damage from an allied champion. Soter can store up to 4 Sprites. When Soter’s Celestial move-set is unlocked all Scorched Sprites become chains that can be cast and slow the target with the first chain and root on the second chain
Details:
- Gains 1 Sprite every 30/26/22/18/12 seconds
- Can store a max of 4 Sprites
- Cooldown between sending out sprites 2 seconds
(Scorched Sprite):
- Consumes 5 strength on cast
- Consumes 10 strength when the sprite is consumed
- Reveals itself to the enemy team when it begins chasing a target
- Reveals enemies for 4 seconds
- Deals 2/2.5/3/3.5/4% of your max health as true damage when consumed (damage is applied similar to Sona’s damage buff, no ksing)
- Has global range and patrol range
- Movement speed while traveling to patrol area is equal to average in-game champion movement speed
- Movement speed while patrolling is equal to ¾ average in-game champion movement speed
- Movement speed while chasing is equal to the target’s movement speed + 10%
- Lives for up to 3 minutes (approx time to walk between top and bot lane 4 times)
(Binding):
- All Scorched Sprites temporarily become chains of binding
- Binding is a straight line skill-shot that passes through minions
- Grants 1 chain of binding if none are stored when the Celestial move-set is unlocked
- Doesn’t affect sprites that are patrolling
- Considered the first chain if there is not another chain currently attached
- First Chain deals 50/70/80/90/110 + 2% of Max Health as magic damage
- First Chain slows for 40% while attached
- First Chain last for 4 seconds
- Considered the second chain if there is exactly 1 other chain attached
- Second Chain deals 30/50/70/90 + 4% of Max Health as magic damage
- Second Chain stuns for 2 seconds
- Considered the third chain if there is exactly 2 other chains attached
- Third Chain increases the stun duration by .5 seconds
- All chains are removed after the stun runs out
- Range 1400
- Missile Speed 2100
W(Cleansing Flame/Unyielding):
Description: Removes all debuffs on self (doesn’t remove snare/stun/root/knock-up) Uses a portion of your current health to grant immunity to all forms of cc and also grants some additional defensive stats
Details:
- Cooldown 20/18/16/15/14 seconds
(Cleansing Flame):
- Consumes 10 strength for use
- Consumes 10 additional strength if debuffs are removed
- Removes every form of debuff except snare/stun/root/knock-up includes ignite/poison/bleed/grievous wounds/etc.
- If used while “wrapped” around an ally
- also removes any of the sames set of debuffs from that ally
- Consumes 20 additional strength if debuffs are removed (instead of the 10 additional)
- If used while “wrapped” around an enemy
- Allows that champion to be targeted and hit by their allies
- Consumes 4 strength every time the champion is hit by their allies
(Unyielding):
- Consumes 15% of your current health
- Grants 60% tenacity
- Removes all forms of cc (similar to mercurial scimitar active)
- You take 40% less damage from all sources
- Lasts for 4 seconds
E(Engulf/Rush):
Description: Dashes to a target location, if there is a champion at the target location you will “wrap” around them becoming untargetable and providing either buffs or debuffs depending on if you “wrap” an ally or foe.
Details:
- Dash range 550 units
- Ground targeted dash
- Cooldown 12/11/10/9/7 seconds from the end of the spell
(Engulf):
- Consumes 10 strength
- You gain 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2% of your max health as armor and magic resist
- “Wrap” range 25 units(from hitbox edge)
- “Wrap” prioritizes by proximity and then ally before enemy
- You deal 1 true damage to the champion you are “wrapped” around for every quarter second you remain “wrapped”
- You can stay “wrapped” for up to 4 seconds, goes on cooldown when you un”wrap”
- Consumes 5 strength for every second you remain “wrapped”
- If “wrapped” around an ally
- You take 75% of all incoming sources of damage other than from yourself
- Your ally only takes 30% of the damage
- Your ally gains .5% of your max health as ap and ad
- If “wrapped” around an enemy
- Any scorched sprites are consumed and the champion is stunned
- You take 30% of all damage that champion would deal
- The champion now deals 75% of the damage they would normally deal
- You take 5% of all damage dealt to this champion
- The champion takes 110% damage instead of the normal 100%
(Rush):
- deals 70% ad + 80% ap + 5% of max health as magic damage splash damage in a radius of 250
- knocks enemies within the range up into the air for a maximum of .75 seconds, reduced to .5 seconds at the edge
R(Warden's Fury):
Description: Remakes the selected champion in a Celestial version of themselves granting increased offensive stats at the cost of defensive stats for a short time. After the time limit or after their celestial version runs out of health they revert back to their previous state.
Details:
- Range 400
- Cooldown 120/100/80
- Must be in Celestial form to use
- The target’s Celestial form has a unique health bar
- The target is put in stasis for .25 seconds while transforming
- Lasts for 8 seconds or until the Celestial Health Bar is depleted
- The target is put in stasis for .25 seconds while transforming back
- Grants 40 range to melee champions and 25 range to ranged champions
- Celestial health is equal to .5 times the max health of the target champion
- Celestial defensive stats are equal to .75 times the defensive stats of the target champion
- Maximum offensive stat increase is equal to Soter’s Max health divided by 100
- Actual offensive stat increase is equal to the ratio of the target’s max health divided by Soter’s Max health times the Maximum stat increase
- If the ratio is greater than 1 the Actual offensive stat increase is capped at the Maximum EX: Soter Max HP = 300
