What does down/up voting mean to you?
To me voting is for post quality not my opinion about the post. This means that I might disagree with what someone says in their post but if they posted in a reasonable manner(not ranting) I will up vote their post. If i see a rant it is an automatic down vote even if I agree with them.
Comments are for opinions, votes are for quality.
Let me know what your opinion is or if you think the same way I do.
Lord Dusteon2 votesGenerally I upvote if the discussion is well thought out (even if I disagree with it) or if it has civil discussion. I downvote generally if an idea is completely unthought about, extremely rude, or a tiny post with no context or discussion.

redniwediS2 votesTo me upvotes mean either that I agree or it was a well written post that should be seen by others. Downvotes, on the other hand, I give out to people who have shown through their post that they are an idiot. I do not vote if I simply disagree.

for me something that has load of upvotes is something important, it means that people agree with the post, and i base myself off that

JustMyBassCannon1 votesI tend to vote on posts based on quality and agreement. If it's a well-written post, but I disagree with it, I will instead voice my opinion (or upvote posts that share my opinion). If it's poorly written or rant/rage/troll posting, I tend to downvote and move along.
