Banner Of Command
i think the concept of this item had a lot of potential but had a major flaw, it make minions near unkillable or didn't do its job well enough
so here is my idea of how to fix it
make banner of command spawn a flag bearer near the champion that will go to the nearest lane (like rift herald)
Flag bearer stats would be similar to a caster minion and it causes nearby minions to move 25% faster, attack 25% faster, this benefit is doubled for cannon minions / super minions, banner bearer will not attack enemy champions (acts as
minions) and towers will prioritize it last over all other minions (but not champions)
the flag bearer is immune to all damage as long as there are at least 3 minions nearby. this means the counter play is killing what is around it, which every champion can deal with it by either killing the wave, holding the wave until the flag bearer runs past then kill it while its alone, or even CC displacements like pulls to force it away from the minion group and kill it. (it has the same hp as caster minions, easy to kill)
it now fulfills its purpose, isn't able to be instant killed when used properly, and is also easy to counter play when paying attention, but servers its purpose or being a powerful split push tool to provide pressure on different area of the map than the champion(s) are.
it also can server one more purpose now, it can be used to block skill shots as the item use lets you chose its spawn location within 400 units (letting you spawn it over a wall as well)
this offers a utility use outside of just split pushing but is still nitch for use that way.
