The proper riven nerf

change her shield to be similar to yasuos

it only triggers of enemy champion damage

example when riven used her E she has 2 seconds of being able to gain the shield IF she takes damage from an enemy champion

this means no more blocking a tower shot after a trade under the enemy tower or minion damage after a trade

it also means worse jungle sustain

her damage CC mobility and in the moment trades remain the same, but she isnt able to tower dive or tank minions/monsters as effectively

that 1 nerf will make her much more tolerable for having less effective hp when fighting non champions or after trades (no more free tower shot blocks unless also getting hit by the enemy champion)

lol if u want ive seen riven live with no hp thats to that shield from ONLY tower / minion damage very often

would be a reasonable way to nerf her ability to tower dive

Yasuo's shield is arguably stronger than Riven's. You can stop Riven's shield by simply silencing or snaring her, along with the rest of her damage in fact.

Riven also needs to burn her shield as utility in order to burst effectively.

They are never going to nerf Riven. EVery riven player out there calls her the hardest champ to play but in reality she is easy as shit. You have that combo exploit thing that people whine about being hard to use but the bottomline is simple.

She has abilities to neglect alot of slows with movements, she becomes tanky lategame, she has burst, cc, shield that can be compared to Nautilus and low cooldowns with an execution.

There is no skill in a champion that has it all. It's just a bunch of people creaming their pants when they use an ability to move to the side from an attack. In all honesty, how is using an ability made to dodge and gapclose more skilled than a tryndamere side stepping an ability?
