Aurelion Sol Mini-Rework Possibilities?

Aurelion Sol has been hinted at for a mini-rework. I have a couple of suggestions for Riot.

Main issue for Aurelion: No counter to melee champs (except for ultimate)

Here's my idea on how to change him.

Aurelion now has a Standard Orbit, which is the default for his stars currently, and an Inner Limit, which sits roughly 150 units more than combat range.

W: Celestial Expansion Celestial Shift Cooldown: 5/4.5/4/3.5/3 seconds Mana: 45

Passive: Stars execute minions at 30/31/32/33/35 health. When stars are closer than Standard Orbit, they deal 50 - 35% (based on level) less damage.

Active: Aurelion changes the orbit distance of his stars. The furthest they can go is to his Outer Limit and the closest they can go is his Inner Limit. (There could be a line at his Standard Orbit which makes it easy to reset star distance.)

Stars always take 5 seconds to fully rotate once around.

My Ideas On What This Will Do For The Character:

  1. Provide defense against melee champs.
  2. Allow him to farm easier.
  3. Provide a bit of a nerf to his stars' damage.

I have some additional changes to his Q and E (They are just afterthoughts, not really important, but definitely interesting.) I will post these if I get any comments telling me to :D

I think those W changes would just make him ping-reliant and inconsistent.

Personally I think Aurelion shouldn't completely lose his stars if he gets hard ccd. There should be a tertiary orbit for that case instead of the current insta-zero star case we have right now, but I don't think he should pick that orbit range.

I'd be interested in reading the Q changes since that's where I've heard the most frustration voiced by Aurelion players.
