Singed Rework Concept

Disclaimer: Singed isn't meant for a rework anytime soon, and my concept would change his playstyle completely. But, I find it fun to make concepts like these and get other people's opinions. So if you don't like it, tell me why, or if you do, I'd like to know that too.

First Thoughts

Singed doesn't really live up to his story. He is literally the mad chemist. I think that if he could throw potions and apply lots of status affects to his enemies, it would let him live up to his background much better. I'm thinking that he should be a mage, not a bruiser. His kit will be filled with different interactions between abilities.

Base Stats

Attack Damage: 61 - 100 Attack Speed: 0.74 Attack Range: 520 Mana: 475 - 990 Armor: 36 - 72 Magic Resist: 35 - 40 Health: 540 - 2157

Abilities

Passive: Toxic Canister Every 30 - 20 (based on level) seconds, Singed's next basic attack will apply a Toxic Canister for 10 seconds. The canister explodes when it comes into contact with Singed's other abilities, dealing 31 - 110 (+10% AP) damage and having additional effects based on which ability it was activated by. The cooldown for Toxic Canister is reduced by 0.5 seconds per auto attack and 1 second per ability cast

Q: Explosive Vial - Mana: 45 Cooldown: 6/5.5/4.5/4/3 seconds Singed throws out a vial of explosive chemicals, dealing 60/81/106/125/145 (+60% AP) magic damage to the first enemy hit. The vial continues moving after it damages the enemy, and if it touches a potion in the air, it causes the potion's effect to immediately be applied in the area and dealing Explosive Vial's damage in an area. Explosive Vial disappears after touching one potion, even if it hasn't hit an enemy.

Toxic Canister: Deals an additional 20/40/60/80/100 (+30% AP) magic damage in an area around the target affected.

W: Mega Adhesive - Mana: 70/80/90/100/110 Cooldown: 15/13/12/11/10 seconds Singed throws a potion of mega adhesive to a target area, creating a slowing zone in an area (Think 1.5x Vel'koz E, maybe larger) for 5 seconds, slowing enemies in the area by 35/45/55/65/75%. If part of the area is affected with Eroding Potion, Mega Adhesive is ignited, dealing 100 (+20% AP) magic damage and lowering magic resist by 10/20/25/30/45 for 2.5 seconds to all targets standing on top of the adhesive.

Toxic Canister: Target is rooted for 2.5 seconds and loses 5/10/20/30/40 magic resist for the duration.

E: Eroding Potion - Mana: 100/130/140/145/145 Cooldown: 24/20/16/12/12 seconds Singed throws an eroding potion to a target area, dealing 30/45/62/77/96 (+50% AP) magic damage in an area per second for 5 seconds. If the area is affected with Mega Adhesive, Eroding Potion applies Crippling Poison to all enemies on top of it, only applying once per enemy.

Crippling Poison: slows enemies on top of the area by 40% and deals 70% of its damage plus 1/1.5/2/2.5/3% of the target's max health as magic damage over 5 seconds.

Toxic Canister: Singed's next basic attack against the target deals 30/40/50/60/70 true damage.


NOTE: I have 2 ult choices for Singed, but couldn't figure out which was better, so I'll let you decide with a poll.


R1: Insanity Potion - Mana: 80/90/100 Cooldown: 45/30/20 seconds Singed hurls his legendary Insanity Potion to a target area. The area of the effect is redemption-sized. The potion lasts for 6/8/10 seconds and lowers enemies' vision range and removing ally vision in the area, as well as applying a Toxic Canister once per second. If Eroding Potion is affecting the area of Insanity Potion, Eroding Potion explodes, dealing its damage instantly over the entire area and Insanity Potion disappears. If Mega Adhesive is affecting the area of Insanity Potion, the enemy with the most current health is rooted, and all other enemies are slowed by 75% for 2.5 seconds and Insanity Potion disappears.

R2: Chaos Potion - Mana: 170 Cooldown: 110/90/70 seconds Singed hurls a Chaos Potion to a target area. The area of the effect is redemption-sized. When the potion hits the ground, all enemies are polymorphed for 3/3.5/4 seconds and then silenced for 2/2.5/3 seconds.

Passive: Any enemy that is hard crowd controlled (stun, silence, fear, root, polymorph, etc) takes 30/40/50% additional damage from Explosive Vial.

I realize that his kit is crazy, and I may need to nerf the numbers a little bit, but I think that the interactions are what would make this Singed viable. He would be excellent at zoning characters away, no doubt. I think that with some tweaking, this could be the new face of Singed.

Nah singed is much better how he is atm in my opinion, I like the current playstyle.

I actually would like to see a rework for Singed. But I would prefer to keep him as a tank. The rework you are suggesting here seems more like a mage, dealing alot of AoE AP damage. Meanwhile he has no tank capabilities like shields, damage reduction, sustain or anything.

Considering the focus of his research (i.e. what exactly he did to Warwick and why) I think his current bruiser playstyle is fine.
