Lee Sin Rework - The True Blind Monk
In the latest Hot posts here on the Boards, hundreds of League fans agree that Lee Sin needs an entire rework, not a nerf or two. His kit needs to go because he's got twice more to offer than most other champs. Here's the way a True Blind Monk should really look like:
Lee Sin now has mana as a resource and his passive makes him the True Blind Monk he was meant to be.
Passive: True Blindness - Lee Sin can hear branches sway and blood drops splatter. He can sense the environment around him and foes alike.
(Players playing Lee Sin can only see the environment in darkness, exactly like Rek'sai's burrowed vision, yet very different when it comes to detecting foes: he can sense your sweat dripping even if you're standing still, however if you are behind a wall he has to use other abilities to sense you. Lee is in this state 100% of the game and cannot leave it like Rek'sai can unburrowed. He is blind, ya know?)
Q: Crippling Roundhouse - Lee Sin sends one leg flying around him, dealing damage too all nearby foes in a cone in front of him. If the targets are fleeing, Crippling Roundhouse slows his targets for 2 seconds. 15 second cooldown.
(This strike scales off AD and has a decent cooldown to prevent abuse)
**W: Iron Will - ** Passive - Increases Lee Sin's Armor and Magic Resist, scaling with level. Active - Sends a wall-penetrating pulse in a wide cone in front of him, detecting any foes within range. If detected, foes are marked for 5 seconds. Lee Sin gains movement speed while moving towards marked targets. While active and on cooldown, the passive is removed, leaving Lee Sin vulnerable. 30 second cooldown.
(With a lengthy cooldown, Lee Sin will really need to decide if it's worth it to lose defenses to either attack or escape)
E: Savage Strike - Lee Sin punches his target with such force blood splatters all around. While his foes are pouring blood Lee Sin is enthralled with bloodlust, only focusing on hearing the blood pouring from his foes veins for 1.5 seconds, losing sensory input from all nearby foes except his primary target. 7 second cooldown
(This ability is intended to be Lee's main form of damage. Players will have to decide when to throw their punches wisely. I know this ability seems a bit much with the gore, but Vladimir gets to suck your blood and hold it above his hands all game... Why not?)
R: Dragon's Rage - Lee Sin locks his opponent in place for 2 seconds and performs a strong flurry of strikes with his fists and feet. Lee Sin is consumed by his strikes, ignoring all sensory input nearby. After his combo is finished, Lee's vision is weakend for 3 seconds. 90 second cooldown
(Lee's ult scales off AD. He loses all vision of nearby foes while striking and his vision is only partially available for the following 3 seconds, effectively losing his sensory input for 5 seconds.)
Lee loses his dashes, gains mana as a resource, yet still remains powerful enough to be a pick among melee fans.
