Off-Topic but your name is Malicious Fury.

Are you like the Renekton-main version of Malicious Metal?

And yes please let us have Solo Queue.

Malicious Fury16 votes

I made this name in Season 1 because I mained Tryndamere back then. Back in his glory days in the old Twisted Treeline.

If it is, then so is League, at least to me.

Rito has 3 more weeks to announce anything positive about soloQ. If they don't: bye bye League, Helloooooo Overwatch.

Not playing a game where the developer takes away the gamemode I like :D

The boards sign sistem is kinda bad compared to any decent forum, tbh :D

franticFurball2 votes

Its not a "sign system". Its called a "markup code" or "markup language"

And I think one would have to search for quite some time before he comes across something on the web that doesn't use markup...because you know...in the end, after all the forms, javascript and php, what is transfered to the users browser, is still an html document.

And what does html stand for? Oh that's right:

HyperText MARKUP Language

as soon as it came out i spent much of the next week telling most lobbies i got into about that. boy were they pissed. 9 people reporting me sometimes over it, that fact alone put some lol into my lol a bit. I hadn't seen so much nerdrage concentrated in one place in such along time until then.

If they wanted more casual team play, then why didn't they look into ranked 5s and ways to improve it.

Even though I'd be inclined to be a little skeptical about any numbers released, I'm curious if ranked stats have changed much this season. I mean stats of all sorts, attendance, toxicity, diversity, etc.

I want to say that NA ranked attendance has probably taken a dip due to the increased rate of frustration this season seems to have brought. I do specify NA because I wouldn't put it past Riot to release stats on this matter saying global attendance is up (due to growth in newer servers) despite NA attendance going down. The increased rate of frustration would directly relate to increased toxicity and bans, so I can only guess that this season has an overall worse ranked experience that Riot will refuse to address until next pre-season. Whether their excuse will be, "We wanted to try something and data gathered pointed to the old system being notably less problematic" or "Countless posts asked for it and the benefits of the new system did fall short, so we're trying something else", it feels like the entirety of season 6 will go down in infamy as Riot took their sweet time addressing the countless problematic aspects they introduced.

Long time players are upset, high-tier players, solo players, and these are all problems stemming from system based failures. These are ignoring the balance problems that people will always have and the various other unfortunate facts we've come to accept, but part of me is convinced that Riot knows the current system is worse, just not quite bad enough to receive a systematic rework mid-season.

actually, i believe ranked is more played if not for the queue times.

The thing is, is normal that is now played less.

Dynamic is like a enchanted normal.

Why next season? I want solo queue this season.

So what your saying is riots attempts to silence us with fancy new loot chests, a mage rework, controversial art changes, rotating special mode, and finally their most desperate move of banning someone who they left alone for years until now was somehow the appropriate time to ban him?

Till i recognize that ban for what it is an underhanded attempt to clear the community's thoughts about solo Q after all they could have banned this guy much earlier its not like he just started being horribly toxic recently, it was part of his super popularity for a long while.

side note: yes the guy deserved his ban i just find the timing of the ban to be suspicious! heck riot does not usually do this much content or things at once yet magically it all appears at once the more dissent for dynamic queue shows up.

Fazuzu1 votes

within the year before at elast the annoucnement, if not arrival (not sure?) of 'dynamic' (not much dynamic about the static situation of a premade always steamrolling poor solos and then spamming reports on them for not being part of a circle jerk) queue riot disabled the ability to see premade son sites like lolnexus. once they had done that, I had suspected changes like this were coming. I had no idea that it would be on such alevel as to demolish ranked queue , though. but I knew they were going to encourage pubstomping since it leads to players feeling better than they are and being excited enough to splurge more in skins to show off for their friends and their circle jerk's poor victims.

premades were the main reason i stopped playing normals much, and moved to ranked in s3 I think it was. the irony, is that if i do begin playing a little bit again, I would be moving back to normals to avoid the roflstomping in ranked. and that would be until a better moba came out, that i wouldn't need to spend weeks or month of frustration memorizing everything before the ability to begin having fun would be available. having fun for me = not being roflstomped obviously. so ranked is not fun.

Dengeden2 votes

I thought this would be a snarky post about how everyone's been all "SoloQ > DynamicQ" with no substance to support it. Shame.

Aheadatime3 votes

They're two different queues. Dynamic inherently has more potential for mismatches. People don't like that, and thus want solo back. It's pretty simple.

Lauchmelder1 votes

DQ is more competitive DUE to premades though. Most SoloQ supporters Claim that it's not competitive because they can't climb that easily.

(And yes, I got matched against a premade boosting his friends. Wasn't fun, didn't give 2 shits when it ended. Played the next game and won)

Aheadatime6 votes

You seem to be interchanging the terms 'difficult' and 'competitive'. They're not synonymous. The enemy team having the better premade makes the game more difficult, not more competitive. The enemy team having a premade in a game where your team does not makes the game more difficult, not competitive.

Because teamwork is such a force multiplier, dynamic queue is inherently more likely to result in mismatches. Even back when we had the old solo queue, this force multiplying feature of duo's would win or lose games at times. I tried to accept dynamic. I played it for a few weeks straight to get a feel for the thing. There were too many stomps/mismatches, so I've been playing norms for the last few weeks.

Dengeden1 votes

Mismatches are their excuse whereas last season, it would've been their feeding team. Or Lee Sin.

Aheadatime3 votes

Who is "they"? Don't group me in with the bronze hive mind. I was plat last season, and placed gold this season. The games aren't enjoyable compared to last season. The level of competition has gone down the drain. Games are dependent upon who has the better pre-made, be it a 3 or 4 man. There are some games where it seems like it's mostly solo's and duo's, which is fine. But that this new queue allows for anything other than this to arise is what I mean by inherently more prone to mismatches.
