Tara, the ferry woman

Lore: "These coins are what drive me?" sighing, as she toss a coin purse into her chest. Continuing, "i gotta find a new hobby!" She pushed her boat closer and closer to the shore of the main island where the undertaker waited her arrival. The glow of his lantern, was dim in the distance but grew in luminosity.

Tossing the tie off to him, Yorick anchored the ferry to the twisted and decaying dock. He took her hand as she step on the side of her boat, and helped her step onto the dock. "Tara, you're a sight for sore eyes, how long has it been? About 2 years right?" He greeted her in a low growling tone. That had a certain homey feeling about.

Smiling she gathered her things from the boat. "Yes, uncle it has been a long while. Maybe you can build me a home with a warm hearth so i wont have to leave ever again." she teased as she jog to catch up with her uncle.

"Well, my little Taranite, I can build you such a place, but we both know until your brother is old enough to take your duty off your hands you have to ferry our ancestors across the void of the living to that of the dead. The toll is paid with gold and as a ferryman.. excuse me a ferrywoman you have to be there to collect the toll and shelter and ferry their souls to safety in the final resting place." Yorick, explained as he always did when she asked about exploring, or neglecting her duty.

"I know uncle i know. I'm just bored and need a new life, and Kharonos is ready he just need syour training, uncle Yori!" She pleaded.

"Kharonos, is still a child in eyes of the shadow elders. They will not allow such a entity to ferry the souls of the dead to their final resting places. The will not be persuade so easily, you know this." His voice rang out through the forest. Stunned by his tone and conviction Tara stood silent.

"Is there a problem old friend?" a blue glowing sintar, approached behind her uncle. Hecarim placed his hand on his friends shoulder.

"No, my friend. Young Tara just needed someone to tell her can not be allowed to neglect her duty as ferryman on the dead!" Yorick explained.

"Ahh yes, she has been growing tired of her duty!" He chuckled and continued, "Maybe someone should give her a break so she can venture out and fill her thirst for adventure and excitement." Surprising both his friend and Tara. "I mean she has done her duty for 10 years and better than any before her, including you my old ally." He laughed as he teased Yorick.

"Hecarim, are you mad? No one in our lineage is ready nor can be trusted to accomplish the duty. Kharonos is the closest one to her ability level and he is still not ready." Yorick replied to his friends decree.

"Uncle i am more than ready. I am more than capable to do her duty. She need to move on!" Kharonos exclaimed as he revealed himself from behind a tree. He leaped over some twisted brush to their position.

"What are you doing here Kharon?" She scolded at her little brother. "Does mom and dad know you're here?"

"Who do you think has protected you as you ventured through the rift and down the river of Keron." He laughed at her, "Sure wasn't the light of that lantern you have on that ferry of yours."

She watched him strut to her uncle and whisper something to him. "What are you telling him Kharon?" She shouted.

"It's settled then!" Yorick exclaimed. Continuing, "I will appoint my self to the Elders and present this offer to them. If they accept, Tara you will be free of your duty." Turning to Kharonos, "An you will take over your birthright finally! Is all this understood?" He gazed at them both.

Staring eyes tearing up with joy and excitement, "Agreed"

"Yeah, about time!" Kharonos agreed.

8 months later.......

"It's been a while uncle, have they decided on our offer?" Tara asked as she exited the boat and climbed onto the dock.

He laughed and closed his eyes as they teared up at the joy that over whelmed him, "Yes, my little Taranite. You have been freed of your duty. Kharonos will take over in the morning."

Overwhelmed with excitement she jumped up and grasp her uncles neck almost knocking him over. "Thank you uncle!" She said through clenched teeth and tears of joy.

"Taranite, i have an opportunity for you to think about. Will you join the league with me and show our enemies what the shadow isles have to offer?" He pulled her back to see her face.

"Really uncle? You want me in the league by your side?" She questioned.

"Of course, Tara you are the strongest of our clan, and it would be my honor to have you fight beside me" he replied with his heart in his tone.

"Then I can't say anything but yes then can i uncle" She smiled and wondered what she was in store for.

Abilities

Passive: Toll Collector: Tara is granted with 10 extra staring gold. She also grants increase gold earned by 2 for all allies. .

Q: Double fare - Tara charges her magic and shoots beams of pure energy in two directions dealing 45/60/75/90/105 magic damage (+35% ability power) to all enemy units and the first enemy champion hit, half to any enemy champions after that. cost 60 range 550 cool down 15 seconds

W: Soul Guardian - Tara shrouds an allied champion with a soul shield that returns 10%/20%/30%/40%/50% basic attack damage back to the attacker as magic damage for 4 seconds. Cost 45 Range 900 cool down 20 seconds

E: Riches of the waters/Undertow - Passive: is Granted 2 movement speed for every champion death, stacking until it reaches a max of 45. Active: Tara calls forth the soul wrenching waters of the dead rivers and cast them in a line to slowing any enemy unit hit by the tides and who walks through the pools that is left in the wake by 10% movement speed for 1/2/3/4/5 seconds. The pools last for 3 second duration. cost 75 range 550 cool down 25 seconds

R: Ferryman's burden - Tara uses her powers to sacrifice 25%/35%/45% of her mana to enhance her next ability.

• Q - Cause her 'Double Fare' to fire in a pulse around her instead of two directions dealing 1.5x damage.
• W - Causes 'Soul Guardian' to heal the allied target for just much damage the is returned to the attacker.
• E - Causes 'Undertow' To root enemies it hits and who step through the pools for the duration it would normally slow them. Then deals 40/50/60/70/80 magic damage over 3 seconds. Cost 25/35/45% mana. Range 700 cool down 120 seconds
