I Think League Needs a New Male Healer

The title says it really but what I mean is, the only male healer is Taric. And maybe Bard, I haven't actually read Bard's lore but I kinda see Bard as either a he or she, there's really no defining point visually. Back in season 1 I know Ezreal used to heal with his w and honestly I think that's cool, I joined in season 4 but I wish I was around to see that one.

In terms of champions that are considered "healers" or "medic squad" we don't really have many :( I'm not including champions like Ekko or Irelia...Xin, they aren't healers. Self-healing isn't considered a healer as I see it, these champions can heal teammates, and a majority of them are female, and the only defined male is technically a tank.

You may disagree you may not, but I personally think League could use a squishy male humanoid healer. I would buy whoever he is in a heartbeat.

I've already explained this to a few people and I'm not repeating myself anymore. Yes, I forgot a few.

Normally I wouldn't consider Shen and Lulu but I saw them and figured why not, someone brought up Shen already might as well.

I'd honestly like this as well. A Priest/Cleric-esque character would be cool. One that can Purge debuffs and all that jazz.

I 100% agree with you, maybe a priest kind of character or something. League could really use more male healers, cause personally, they are all feminine other then bard. Not being mean but Taric isn't the manliest of champions if you know what I mean. Alistar has a heal I guess but it is so weak and usless. So I think another male healer would be great. By the way, Bard is 100% a man, come on. He has a beard, the name bard even sounds like a man's name. Plus look at how he looks I don't think that is how a lady should look. Maybe I am miss understanding you and you think he has no gender but I think bard is a male character.

Even including Zilean, we're still at an inbalance because Fiora is now part of the support medic squad with that incredible ult. I'd like to see a ranged male AP nuke/healer champ, maybe involving some life siphoning/transferring and some purging spells.

I get the imbalance, but that never stopped the gender ratio of champions being fixed in League of Legends. I don't think gender is kept in mind in most cases, and this coming from someone who would like to see more Male support champions and more Female... everything else.

I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of dark paladin that heals his allies off of the pain of his enemies.

I believe the reason that most of the healers in the game are female is due to the usual idea of women being caretakers. Almost all through out history, we see women being the caretakers of crops and new borns. So I think it is only natural that the "caretakers" would be explicitly female. That is my take on it anyways.

I've actually got a character concept for this, but instead of a cleric/priest type, he's actually more of a Plague guy. I can post his stats up if you'd like.

Zilean has the strongest heal in the game: Chronoshift. He is also a "squishy male humanoid".

I agree. I'd say Bard is genderless btw, no need to give them a definitive gender. But yeah, a heal-y support that's a dude would be nice. Perhaps a squishy one this time.

Yes because centering gender around a new champion is essential to their story, gameplay, and lore.

Hey, i made concepts for two male healers :D One is Sham'a, The Candle Maker who is a guardian-spirit and light bringer from Shurima that protects people with magic candles. The other is Chayon, The Shepherd of the Afterlife who is a Ionian spirit that guides lost souls to the beyond. Maybe you could take a look :)

I wouldn't really consider most of these guys healers(obviously except soraka and maybe taric),I mean they heal,but their kit isn't focused too much on it.
