I could not find the artist, but imagine this, but burnt orange and having only one arm. This arm would be slightly longer than it is in the picture and have four pincer-like claws.
------------------------------------------------------------Passive-Ability, Shattering Grip-------------------------------------------------------
Aridien's next basic attack deals a set amount of magic damage increased by his current health. It only activates on monsters and champions. It also has a cooldown.
------------------------------------------------------------Q-Ability, Bloodthristy Charge-------------------------------------------------------
Bloodthristy charge increases Aridien's basic attack range to 350 units. Upon making this basic attack, he lunges twice the distance in that direction, dealing magic damage to all enemies he passes through. This has a two charge limit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------W-Ability, Terrify-------------------------------------------------------------------
Terrify passively reduces the armor and magic resistance of nearby enemies. Upon activation, the reduction is doubled for 5 seconds and Aridien recieves a movement speed boost for 3 seconds. While this ability is on cooldown, his armor and magic resistance is reduced according to his champion level.
---------------------------------------------------------------------E-Ability, Evil Secrets-------------------------------------------------------------
Evil Secrets allows Aridien to instantly take Shattering Grip off cooldown. It also gives him a damage absorbing shield according to a percent of his maximum health. If he still has this shield by the time 5 seconds have passed, the left over heals him.
---------------------------------------------------------R-Ability, Ultimate, Omen's Chain-------------------------------------------------
Aridien targets an enemy champion. While that enemy is within a range of Aridien, he or she is polymorphed up to 3/4.5/6 seconds. Durring this time, Omen's Chain can be canceled by recieving hard crowd control, however, he is still able to freely move, attack, and use abilities. If the enemy he has selected comes out of range, Omen's Chain does not automatically cancel. Aridien can move into range again to continue the polymorph.
------------------------------------------------------------------------Tips for Playing As--------------------------------------------------------------
O Aridien's abilities work well together in the laning phase for jumping in, dealing some damage, and jumping out again. Early game, know what you are capable of, and utilize it. Think of these pokes as you would think of playing an assassin such as Katarina.
O Don't use Bloodthirsty Charge willy nilly. In a team fight, you can use this to dodge crowd control skill shots and keep up with your target as the other enemies try to separate you.
O As champions on the burst/sustain continuum go, Aridien is a rather bursty tank, but not the burstiest. He deals most of his damage in a 3 or so second timeframe but then must disengage or, I suppose late game, he could tank a turret for his team.
-------------------------------------------------------------------Tips for playing Against---------------------------------------------------------
O Stay under turret. However strong Aridien's beginning game is, he can't take a few turret hits just to hurt you a bit.
O If you are in the middle of the lane, position yourself closer to the bushes. If he wants to get to you, your caster minions would be near enough to attack with you. When he tries to get out, the only way he can go is towards the river, giving your jungler a prime time to attack.
O After Aridien comes in, try to stick to him. He is extra weak after his pop in. Utilize this to deal more damage to him than he deals to you.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------Good Against------------------------------------------------------------------
Cho Gath's abilities can be easily dodged by a couple well-placed Bloodthirsty Charges, then, in most circumstances, he cannot stick to Aridien. Aridien would have to make a mistake or two for Cho Gath to get the upper hand and even then, probably not get a kill in the end.
Darius just needs to land his Q and R. If he cannot, he is done for. Aridien can dance around his abilities with Bloodthirsty Charge and polymorph him through long fights such as team fights. No pentadunks for Darius.
Illaoi, just like Darius, can be simply dodged by Aridien and polymorphed in long fights, say, right after Illaoi uses her R.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------Bad Against-------------------------------------------------------------------
Kled can stick to Aridien after he pokes his head in. Kled's beginning game can allow him to compete with Aridien head on. Maybe Skaarl smelled a surgar cube on him.
Olaf does not fall to a bit of head-on fighting. Massive lifesteal, a bit off burst, and some stickiness puts Aridien in an awkward situation. In a big fight, Aridien can't even polymorph Olaf because of his R.
Ryze can immobilize Aridien long enough to completely throw off his burst of damage, and he can't miss. Also, since polymorphs can't interrupt his R, Ryze can utilize this ability unlike in most circumstances. Ryze also makes another zone Aridien has to keep his eye out for, his own minions. All these things calling his attention can make him slip up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------Good With---------------------------------------------------------------------
Blitzcrank pulls an enemy to Aridien, allowing him to stick to the enemy with full potential. Blitzcrank can also silence the entire enemy team, giving Aridien a little extra time to continue the polymorph on his target.
Heimerdinger gives Aridien a nice place to come back to as well as spell out death to any enemy who dives in. Heimerdinger can also give him an even stronger opportunity to go in and come out.
Kalista can let Aridien go in with a strong engage or escape in his hour of need. Also, this allows Omen's Chain to go unhindered and him to use Terrify without being penalized.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lore--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Turning quickly, his eyes glowing red, Aridien snaps at his victim, launching himself in the direction and landing in front of the trembling figure, a demonic smile penetrating Aridien's monstrous face. Aridien is a snake-like creature with a large head and one arm with four razor-sharp claws that act like pincers, reducing the volume of anything in its grasp to a mere tenth of its volume and with this evil appendage, he seizes the victim's exoskeleton, smashing it into hundreds of pieces in less than two seconds. He hears a crunching sound a few feet away and turns, noticing a small, red creature that reminds him of a spider: something foreign to the void but all too known in Runterra, the place he was banished from. Aridien slithered over to inspect it more fully as it battled other hungry creatures, impressing him as he sees its endurance. The little creature, somehow triumphs against its advisories, consuming them in a few large bites. What surprises Aridien most is, for every foe it eats, it grows bigger. Suddenly, it notices his presence and thumps the ground. A moment later, giant spike shoot up just under Aridien, prodding painfully at hit belly. "Fine!" he rages, "You want to fight? I'll give you a fight!" He lunges at him, shattering one of this creature's several arms along the way, instilling the area with the feeling of fear. Aridien easily dodges his advisary's attacks and closes in for the kill. He turns this, now, rather enormous thing into the size of a voidling and circles in, but then, it speaks, "You want to eat me?" the coarse voice asks incredulously, "You really want to eat me? I've never heard of anything so humorous!" Oh, Aridien thinks to himself, so he's sentient. "Though, I must say, I will have to get back at you for breaking my arm. You'd better hope you finish me before I get bigger." "What's your name little spider?" "Cho Gath." With that, Cho Gath just disappears. Well then, if I want to live to torture another creature, I'd better find a way out of these walls, Aridien reasons with himself.
"Come back you little spider! I still have a few arms to squish." ~ Aridien
