-------------------------------------------------------------------------------Magnus--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------(mag-nus)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Heart of the Volcano---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Role: Mage----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------Theme: Lava------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------Concept: Lane Master------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------Resource: Mana----------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------Best Position: Middle-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------Passive-Ability, Diamonds----------------------------------------------------------------- For every 2 seconds he remains still, he gains one diamond, stacking up to 100 diamonds. Reaching 25% mana remaining starts to consume the diamonds to keep it at that points. Each diamond restores 2 mana from levels 1-6; 4 mana from levels 7-12; 6 mana from levels 13-18. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q-Ability, Magma Chamber---------------------------------------------------------------- Magnus errupts an underground volcano in a targeted spot to make lava come to the surface. Enemies who stand on it receive damage per second. When Magnus runs over it, he receives a movement speed boost. This puddle stays for 8 seconds or until the ability is reactivated. The lava puddle must remain for 3 seconds before it can be reactivated to make the puddle go away. As it goes away, it "cools off", stunning all enemies on it for 0.75 seconds. If Magma Chamber is laid on a Dormant Volcano, the Dormant Volcano will erupt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------W-Ability, Dormant Volcano---------------------------------------------------------------- Magnus places a volcano in a targeted spot. This volcano is visible and to destroy one, an enemy must deal 3 basic attacks to it. He can place up to 3 of these on the map at one time. Magnus can basic attack the volcano to make it errupt for 2 seconds. Enemies who touch this are damaged per half second. If Magma Chamber is laid on an Dormant Volcano, the Dormant Volcano will erupt. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------E-Ability, Melt----------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Click and drag ability) Magnus's Magma Chamber is passively larger. He also can passively have more Innactive Volcanos on the map at one time. Upon activation, he melts a line in the ground. All neutral monsters and enemies receive high damage upon stepping on this line and receive more damage per second they are on it. This ability uses mana per second; the longer the line, the more mana per second. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------R-Ability, Ultimate, Erupt---------------------------------------------------------------- Magnus splashes, dealing damage to all nearby enemies. Consecutive uses cost more mana but also increase in damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Gameplay-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Magnus is mage who draws most of his power through zoning his enemies. Using this to steer the enemy laner to certain sides of the lane can set your jungler for an easy kill. Your own ganks will pack in heat by zoning the enemy away from the turret. In teamfights, Magnus can deal high area damage and stay safe through strategic placements. However, Magnus is quite the mana hog and can't keep this up forever. What he does and where he places things can tell you a little something if you are against him. If he is using Melt, he might be herding you in a direction and it may be better to get on the other side. Try to be mobile and waste his mana. Try to keep him moving. If he can't stay still, he can't use Diamonds effectively and will run out of mana loads faster. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Good Against------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Swain - Swain is rather slow and needs his enemy to be near him to heal and do much damage. Magnus's zoning proves to be too much for him as he can't get close enough to do much. If Swain does get close enough, Erupt does him in. Heimerdinger - Heimerdinger relies on a built up fortification, but Magnus can dispose of his entire base and Heimerdinger can't stop it. Viegar - Viegar is very weak beginning game and Diamonds give Magnus an edge beginning game. Viegar can't even get in a good position to stay safe and stack with Magnus around. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bad Against-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zed - Zed can reposition around Magnus's abilities rather effectively. On top of this, he can burst Magnus down too quickly to do much. Azir - Azir has so much range, he can stay out of Magnus's abilities. If Magnus does get close, Azir just pushes him away. Ziggs - Ziggs can effectively poke Magnus out of his range and keep distance between the two. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Good With----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thresh - Thresh stuns the enemy has he drags him or he right into Magnus's stuff and keeps them there. Zyra - Zyra's plants can stay safe in Magnus's area. If they traverse the lava, Zyra can keep them there. Galio - Galio can protect Magnus from burst and keep several enemies in the danger spot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lore----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "It's not worth it!" Twinsha yells. Derick jumps over to a boulder in the stream. "You wanna keep going Jared?!" Derick grins. "You must be a mental pig to think you can beat me." Jared replies. Jared had stolen Twinsha's necklace her mother gave to her before she died. He hoped to pawn it for a fortune. Derick had convinced Jared to compete in a contest of jumping across the stream without falling in. For a yordle like Derick or Twinsha, the sheer force could kill, but as for Jared, he was human and the most it could do is injure. If Derick won, Jared would have to give the necklace back, but if Jared won, he would get Derick's diamond ring. Jared jumps onto a further stone and yelps as he almost loses his footing. All of a sudden, the ground shakes violently, making them both lose their footing and fall in the water, sending Derick flying through the current. Derick jumps, narrowly avoiding the rapids and bruising his right leg on the way down. He speedily approaches the waterfall where alligators await his descent. The ground opens under him. He grabs a root as he begins to fall and holds on for dear life. The water from the stream washes down the gap, sizzling as it cools the lava. A blob of lava starts climbing the wall and Derick scrambles up, getting to his feet and backs away from the edge, peering in. This blob comes into focus as it gets closer, resembling a man, only made of lava. Jared screams as soon as he sees it, throwing the necklace to the ground, yelling, "Here! Have it!", as his voice cracks and he runs off. Derick and Twinsha start running, only to hear whatever it is finish climbing out. "Wait up!" the low, clear tone of the monster calls. "What's the rush?" Derick stops and looks and Twinsha shouts for him to keep going. "Who are you?" Derick inquires. "My name is Magnus. What is yours?" "Derick, and the one over there," he points to Twinsha who had stopped running, "is Twinsha." An alligator charges in after Derick for an easy lunch, only to be suddenly in a puddle of lava! "Woah!" Derick exclaims, "Did you do that?!" "Why yes. I did. What are two yordles, such as yourselves, doing in such an alligator infested area? It's not safe for kids." "Well," Derick stammers, "about that..." "He was saving an heirloom," Twinsha, who is a lot closer, interjects. "A thief stole my necklace and Derick saved it for me." "Must of been quite a necklace. Oh, I almost forgot. I better seal this trench before the lake runs out of water." He waves his hand over the trench and it fills with lava and with another wave, it turns to solid rock. "Well, it was certainly nice to meet you, but I better be off. I need to find the living fire. He has been rather naughty and needs a little time out." "Bye," Derick and Twinsha say at the same time.

I love almost everything about this concept(the kit I mean). I didn't even read the lore, but his kit seems like fun to play while still being balanced. I have 3 complaints, 1 major, 1 medium, and 1 very minor. I'll start with the major: please remove the extra starting gold from his passive. It just seems really unfair that he could take 2 doran's rings to the enemy mages' 1 at the beginning of the game. The medium: I don't like the idea of adding an extra key binding just for this champions, so remove the thing about pressing alt to consume diamonds. Just make diamonds activate on abilities or on standing still. The minor one: I don't really think the name "slosh" fits the ability. You should change it to "Eruption", as it sounds more powerful and related to lava rather than goop. Other than that, great job with this idea.

Feel free to check out my champion concept, Krok, Ruler of the Skies!

Inactive volcano should be Dormant Volcano instead

I love this Idea, It is a cool unique design That doesn't seem broken or Over powered while still feeling like a fun and fair champion. The numbers Would need to be fair as well but, If it were up to me I would green light this really fast.

Passive: interesting Q - overloaded for a single spell, replace stun with root W - okay E - okay R - like what? Rammus ult? or Shavana Aura?

I like the concept, could be improved to be better
