Champion revive ability concept
Note: by /owner/ I mean the champion with this ability. Passive: -After death, allied champions are transformed into Spirits for a duration equal to the remaining death time. Spirits: -They can move freely anywhere on the map. -They cannot interact with the game by any means (obviously except pings and chat) and cannot reveal fog of war, but can walk in it. -They can only be seen by allied champions. -Gain 50% bonus movement speed when moving towards /owner/ from anywhere on the map. -When the champion revives, it will respawn normally. (I haven't thought of how Redemption would work in this case)
Active: -Within a limited range and after a 3 seconds channel, /owner/ revives the target Spirit. The revived champion receives Sickness of the New Life for a duration equal to the remaining death time. (Cannot be cast on Spirits will less than 10 remaining seconds of being dead)
Sickness of the New Life: -AD, AP, max. health, max. mana, health&mana&energy regenerations, armor, magic resist, critical strike damage&chance, bonus attack speed, life steal, armor&magic penetrations are reduced by 50% OR bonus stats from items/runes/masteries are reduced by 100%. -Healing from other allies is reduced by 50%. -Grants no gold, experience and score when killed. When killed, the champion will be dead for the remaining time of this debuff. (For example, if killed when the champion had 10 more seconds of Sickness of the New Life, it will be dead for only 10 seconds) -When it ends, the champion enters a statis effect for 2 seconds before teleporting back to base with full and normal stats.
I'd like to hear some opinions about this idea.
