Katarina Rework Concept

Note: This was meant to be an original new champion, but after thinking a bit I realised that it somehow fits Katarina as a complete reworked champion (by complete I mean that even the roles and build are changed). The champion is inspired by an anime character.

Name: Katarina Roles: Fighter, Marksman (short-ranged) Range: Ranged

      *ABILITIES*

Passive

  • After not attacking for 3 seconds, Katarina stacks 'knives' in her hands, one every 2 seconds, up to 3/4/5 (lvl 1/6/11). While she has at least 1 'knife', Attack Speed is increased by 25/35/45% (at lvl 1/6/11) and basic attacks consume 1 knife.
  • Killing an enemy champion grants one 'knife'.

Q

  • Throw knives in the air and mark the ground Katarina is in for 3 seconds. When Katarina attacks from the grounded mark, she gains one 'knife', up to 2/3/3/4/4.
  • Its size is slightly bigger than Draven's Q.
  • CD: 10->6s

W

  • Shortly dash towards cursor's location.
  • Basic attacks reduce this ability's cooldown by 0.5s.
  • CD: 3s

E

  • Throw a piercing long-range knife, dealing 110->175% AD as physical damage to all units, stopping in the first champion hit, slowing him by 30->50% for 1.5 seconds. If the champion target's %HP is bigger than Katarina's or he is marked by R, he is stunned instead.
  • Costs and consumes one 'knife'.
  • CD: 12->8s

R

  • Mark an enemy champion for 10 seconds, increasing Katarina's Movement Speed by 20% when moving towards the target (limited range). Also, every third consecutive basic attack against the marked enemy deals 10/20/30% bonus damage as true damage and heals Katarina for the same amount.
  • Killing the marked target within 10 seconds will fully stack Katarina's hands with 'knives'.
  • CD: 100/80/60s

STRATEGY

  • Katarina is an Attack Speed based fighter, specialised in taking out a single target.

  • Using R, her attacks deals true damage as well, so focusing a tankier champion is sometimes a good option.

  • Playing Katarina requires to wisely spam W's dash and to get totally used of Q's knifes.

  • With a decent amount of Cooldown Reduction, E can stun its champion target 2 times while marked by R.

  • W's dash distance is too small regarding its cooldown to be considered an escape ability.

     *PROs and CONs*

PROs

  • Strong in-combat mobility;
  • Quick poke;
  • Good dodging potential;
  • True damage.

CONs

  • Hard to play;
  • Easy to counter by moving her/making her move out of her Q area;
  • Squishy when struck by stuns/roots/silences;
  • Her auto attack range is shorter than most ADC's, so laning phase as a Marksman can be hard;
  • Her kit is done to zero if she has to fight without 'knives' when cannot sit properly in his Q area;

No... You cant make an assassin by lore and nature, to an ADC

  • Her passive and shunpo are her main abilities she "trained" to be who she is

And do you realize there's ppl here like me, playing her from 7 years and you just went full "GTFO" and destroyed her idea... Just try to imagine that...
