Transforming champion concept
At the first glance, he is a gentle person. He dislikes fighting and killing, and prefers protecting allies with his spells. Unknown to him, a different personality resides in him. Seeing allies die or getting hurt will make him feel threatened. When he's sufficiently threatened, he'll transform to his second personality: a brutal killer. He throws away his staff and start using his body as weapon.
I'm not good with balance/numbers so I'll just say what his kit will do.
Passive: Dual personality If bravery reaches 0, he'll transform into a different person. Suggestions for 'bravery' meter (max 100) Reduce the 'bravery' meter: Allied minion killed nearby Allied champ killed nearby (he'll certainly transform if all of his teammate are killed in a fight) Receiving damage (he'll transform if his health are lower than 70%)
Recover the 'bravery' meter: After few seconds without any reduction, his 'bravery' will be restored gradually and he'll be his usual self after it reaches 50. Receiving shields/heals
Q1 (ranged) Fires a magical bolt in straight line, dealing magic damage and silences enemy hit by it Q2 (melee) Reinforces his hands with magic and slashes horizontally in front of him, dealing %max hp physical damage
W1 (ranged) Creates a healing zone on the ground, recovering allies' by %missing health per seconds for few seconds W2 (melee) Reinforces his body with magic and tackles nearby enemies. First target hit receives full damage and knocked up, other targets in a small area receives some damage and knocked back.
E1 (ranged) Creates a directional magical field which accelerates movement to a certain direction, but slows movement to the opposite direction (affect allies and enemies, can be deactivated early) E2 (melee) Reinforces his legs with magic and gains extra movement speed toward enemies, slower when running away from enemies (cannot be deactivated before the full duration)
R1 (ranged) Channels his magical power to an ally within range, increasing the ally's damage by % and reduces cooldown by %. R2 (melee) Reinforces the whole body with magic and leaps to an enemy. Enemy hit will receive damage and slowed. If this ability kills, it refunds 50% of its cooldown
LoL has some transforming champions with different role/playstyle between forms. So I'd like to explore the idea of support transforming into something more dangerous. Will people choose to keep him as a support, or enjoy being threatened and become a carry instead?
