Hopefully the skin will bring in more maokai players, he's a really great champion overall and I wish he was played more.

A skin like this takes over a months to do. They likely won't be able to make a completely new skin even if they started now.

Not to mention that there is no way that Riot is just going to throw away all the work they've put into this skin.

Its not free, its earned. Therefor you shouldn't bitch but I think that players should have some persuasion as too what it might be.
