Heinous Bearclaw4 votesThese new skins really feel like a slap in the face to Swain players who have been waiting years for the long promised Dragon Master skin.
Why Xin Zhao? He has already six skins and a chroma pack. Now he's getting yet another skin and a SECOND chroma pack? Zyra I don't mind as much, as she's been pretty heavily neglected and has the same number of skins as Swain.
But still... these new skins kinda came out of nowhere! Who even asked for these? And why is Riot willing to go to all the trouble to design and create TWO brand new Dragon themed skins for these champs, while they continue to renege on their years old promise of Dragon Master Swain? If they have the resources to create these skins, why didn't they devote them to keeping their Swain promise first?
Riot, you need to be more transparent about this, and you need to work harder to regain some trust with players on this issue, and avoid breaking trust in the future.

As much as it's fair to be upset about Swain not getting a dragon skin, he was never officially promised to get it. I don't think it's fair to Riot to call them for "breaking trust" over something that one Rioter said in one post a few years back.
Even if you do interpret what was said about Dragon Master Swain becoming a skin as a promise, it was never said when he would get it.

And even had it NOT been promised, what does that matter? They still knew people continue to want the skin, and they're clearly willing to make Dragon themed skins for other champs, so why would they make two unasked-for skins for seemingly random champs completely out of the blue rather than create the skin they KNOW huge numbers of people have already been clamboring to have for several years?

Swain is on a list of champs whose rigs are too outdated to warrant new skin releases. I have NO DOUBT AT ALL that they WILL release this skin AFTER his rework. Which he will get. In fact, I'll be shocked if his VGU isn't one of the two after Urgot and Evelynn.
Swain is my highest champ mastery. I love playing him, and I love his concept. And so does Riot, and they WILL get to the skin. But we should be glad that they want to do it justice instead of rushing it out. They only have so many resources, and they'll get to it. I agree that it's unfortunate that they haven't spent more money on champ updates in the past, but they're on a great schedule now.
I am confident that they haven't forgotten their promise. I think it's good to make posts and remind them, but I don't see the point in attacking them. They'll show us their plans when they're ready.

Despite your claims, I haven't attacked anyone, I have merely expressed my (I feel totally justified) dismay and frustration, and asked for the explanation and reasonings behind these developments and the larger situation. At the very least they could update us on where the project stands, and the reasons for it not being worked on.
Riot is NOT being transparent enough about this, and they are breaking trust in doing so. You might have faith that they will make good on their promise, but I and surely many others do not share that faith.
People want answers, and they have every right to ask for them in a civil manner. You, on the other hand, have no right to tell anyone else to stop asking for information or expressing their frustrations and feelings of broken trust, in any manner whatsoever.

Incorrect. They have said that Swain isn't getting ANY new skins until post-rework. It isn't speculation.
As for my response, I can't find that original post, and it's fine by me that you don't trust me. I'm giving you information that I know to be valid, and I was hoping that would help you feel a little better since Riot is unlikely to respond to this post.
I was trying very hard to be nice under the assumption that you wanted answers. It is clear to me now that you just want to be angry, which is fine. Don't expect a response to that, though. If I were a Rioter, I'd ignore you.

It wasn't promised, and this was all that was said about it. Morello saying something doesn't hold much, considering he doesn't even work on the League of Legends team anymore. Meddler has said "Not till his VGU" and even that is not confirming it. Rioters say things all the time without them holding any weight. Look at anything Fizz Enthusiast had said.

GarthBrooksXD1 votesOnly Yasuo, and Olaf, maybe Sion are vicious enough champions to warrant a dragon slayer skin. Dragons like sol and shyvana don't make sense to be dragon killers cuz they're dragons themselves. Swain throws crows and poison and shreaks when he turns into a mad bird man... hardly something i imagine killing a dragon. Nice drawing though.

A new game mode for these dragon related skins would be great. You would fight champions worshipping the dragons on the map but every time you kill one of them, the others are consuming his body and become stronger. So your team have to decide in which order you are going to kill these champions. When the last one is killed, the endboss appears devouring the last remaining body.
I understand that you want Swain to be the boss to celebrate his skin, but tbh, he doesn't really make sense as a dragon game mode boss. The boss should be Shyvana or Aurelion Sol (so: an actual big dragon). Swain is just using a small dragon as an animation for his Q and can switch to a half dragon creature with his R. He is way more in line with other dragon worshippers, meanwhile Shyvana and Aurelion Sol are dragon themselves.
