Trace 1 Theory

So...I was thinking about who the final champion for Trace 1 could be. I took into consideration that all of the other revealed champs are already in the game, but that Trace 1's weapon was not identified. I also thought about how a Rioter stated that Trace 1 was not going to be a new champion. My brain threw a couple of things around...and I thought maybe...this isn't a "new" champion. What if it was a champion that was "supposed" to be in the game since the beginning? Someone they never told us about? It makes sense to me. I mean, the "database" for that weapon and all information about the wielder of it was "lost". So I'm just saying that maybe this is a sweet new way for Riot to introduce a "new" champion with the weapon!

Again, this is just a thought. I just hadn't seen it on any other forums so i thought I might try to post about it and see what happens

It is a Legendary Skin for Yi, confirmed on P.B.E. and skin Wiki.

The only champions I know of that had been being made and then cancelled had no weapon remotely similar to any of the trace weapons, and have been cancelled for over 4 years.

That makes sense and i see your point. I was trying to point out that they could pretend that they had this champion "lost" in the database of the game for a long time. So maybe it's not a cancelled champion, but a new one all together. But just introduced in a new fashion

It's a legendary tier skin. Probably for Jax or Yi judging my the mysterious face that keeps being shown.
