LP gain

So Riot, I know this idea may have been brought up before, but here we go:

Instead of you losing a crap ton of LP and your mmr being absolutely destroyed when you're on a losing streak, but why not try and make LP loss on how well you play?

Yes i understand that people have bad games, but the people that just troll and intent feed/ tilt off the face of the earth need to be punished somehow.

Anyways, if you do well on your team, you shouldn't be the one losing a lot of LP, it should be the troll/ feeder. For example, if you're carrying your team even though your team is insanely behind, you/ the other people shouldn't be at risk of losing 20 lp per game (depending on your mmr).

What I'm trying to get at is, you should be rewarded with less LP loss if you do well in your game(s) and if you do extremely poorly, you should be the one that is punished.

Please let me know what you guys think, I think this game would be a lot better off if people were rewarded for doing well, the trolls would get hit a lot harder.

And how in the world would the system be made? If you're on a positive kill/death ratio, do you then only lose 10 lp? If you've got less then 100 cs, do you lose more? How would you scale this between different ranks? How do you messure 'doing well'? Does an A or S on champion score mean you've done well or what? The system would be too ambiguous and would deliver so many more complaints than the current system. The current system works fine, it places people in approximately the right league if you play ranked enough. If you've only got around 50 ranked games, you could've easily just hit an unlucky streak for a while, you don't know. Over time, you should win more than 50% of the games if you deserve to be in a higher league and as so, loss of LP will not outweigh gain of LP. If you were to change the system, you shouldn't base the system on a 1v1 based system like MMR is historically.

TL;DR: The system works, it's just derived from old 1v1 games and is balanced around that. An ENTIRELY new system should be made if it was to take into account your teammates.
