WHY RITO

So, I just finished my placements and last season I ended at Plat 5. I wont 7 out of my 10 placements games and I got placed in silver 3. Meanwhile, one of my friends ended in plat 3 and got placed plat 5 for going 6 and 4. Why the frick did this happen and why is it so screwed up?
