Silence in a kit

Can we being back silence as a form of cc on an upcoming champ. With the plethora of dmg in the game now it makes sense to have a skill that can prevent some damage and get your job done as, ~~say a utility assassin~~ an anti assassin. There are so many rehashed abilities in the game whereas silence is a skill that has been virtually taken out of the game. Back in season 3 there was less damage and games lasted longer. Now your dead in a second. Why not bring back a skill (on an appropriate kit) that can help with this. Jax is allowed to dodge autos and cho is still allowed to aoe silence so blocking incoming damage has a precedent.

The problem is that silence is kinda unfun, you do little and the enemy can't use his spells which may (AP) or may not (AD) be that problematic.

They specifically and intentionally removed silences from mobile, high-burst champions such as Leblanc, Kassadin and Talon (though Talon's mobility is on the low end) since it removed counterplay against their assassination and trades.

They aren't just going to add it back onto another assassin after that.

Utility assassins become tank assassins because they still get CC for building full tank.

Silences are ok on some champs. On assassins who already have enough counterplay issues it closes most counterplay.

Okay will everyone stop being narrow minded if I remove that one word "assassin" I clearly wasn't thinking 100% when I threw that one word in my post my point is I'd like to see silence utilized in a new way on a new champ to prevent burst dmg. To to make all other champs useless so you can in turn burst them down.

assassins r supose to take out the adc if you give them a silence they are really not going to be that scarry to the adc they wil probertly be good for taking out the apc

so putting a silence on an assassin is kind of weird right
