There was a period of 3 months some time ago where my laptop broke and I couldn't play League of Legends. However, I was fond enough of the game that I decided to make some champion concepts to pass the time. 4 concepts in particular were well received by other League players, so I decided I might as well upload them to see if others liked the ideas. Riot, if you in any way like the ideas, feel free to use them in whatever fashion you wish. I would require no credit nor compensation in any fashion.

The Lore for this one is a bit extensive and is in two parts, so we'll leave that at the bottom.

Name: Comedo, the Living Blade Role: Fighter Faction: Shadow Isles Birthplace (For Sophy): Ionia

Abilities Sophy is the name of the human girl wielding the sword Comedo is the name of the sword His resource would be health and his role would be fighter

Innate: Hungry Steel Striking an enemy with an auto-attack leaves them with a 'Prey' marker that persist for 5 seconds. When Comedo lands an ability on a marked enemy he will restore health equal to 10% of the damage dealt to the marked enemy, this removes the mark. The marker would be a small glowing eye like the one shown on the model. Triggering it would have the eye burst into a blood splatter

Q: Gaping Maw Active- Comedo opens his jaws wide and bites in a half-circle in front of Sophy, dealing damage to all units in range. Triggering Hungry Steel marks with this ability will restore double the amount of health. Damage: 90 / 125 / 160 / 195 / 230 (+ 70% Bonus AD) Range: 425 Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 health

W: Feeding Frenzy Comedo's desire to devour briefly overwhelms Sophy, causing her to dash towards the cursor and gaining bonus AD for 2 seconds. Empowered auto-attacks will trigger the 'prey' markers for 10% of the damage dealt but will not add additional 'prey' markers when attacking. Range: 500 Added AD: 10% / 12.5% / 15% / 17.5% / 20% of total AD Cooldown: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 seconds Cost: 5% maximum health

E: Screaming Metal Passive- Gains bonus armor penetration, goes on cooldown after active. Active- Screams and slows down any enemy in circular AoE, centered on Sophy, for 2 seconds. Active Cost: 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 health Slow: 18% / 21% / 24% / 27% / 30% Bonus Armor penetration: 5% / 7% / 9% / 11% / 13% Radius: 450 Cooldown: 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 seconds

R: Ravenous Hunger Active- Fires tongue out of sword and creates a tether for 2 seconds on targeted enemy, generating a stack every 0.5 seconds as long as the tether doesn't break. Anytime after at least one stack is gained the ability can be reactivated to pull Sophy to the enemy and deal physical damage plus restore health per stack, this will remove the tether from the enemy champion. Comedo can regularly attack but cannot use abilities while tethered, his auto-attacks will not add 'prey' markers while tethered. If the tether is broken any stacks accumulated can still be used on the next auto-attack, the stacks will all vanish 3 seconds after the tether was broken. The health restoration will only trigger if you attack a champion. This ability will not trigger 'prey' markers. Cost: 15% current health Damage per stack: 85 / 135 / 185 (+25% bonus AD) (+33% AP) Health restored per stack: 5% / 7.5% / 10% of missing health Range: 600 Tether length: 800 Tether duration: 2 seconds Cooldown: 100 / 90 / 80 seconds You can stay attached to the target for the full duration, which will generate a 4th stack- but you will be unable to use the pull function to trigger the damage

Appearance For Sophy Young girl with waist-length, red hair, also has bangs going down to middle of chest. Has runic markings in circles going up her right arm, ending in an eye on her shoulder. She also has an eye-patch going over her left eye. Wears a dark blue kimono with the right sleeve torn off and her right shoulder bared. Has a long, white sash tied around her wait, one ribbon hangs low behind her. Her left arm is covered in a sleeve that is loose-fitting. Kimono goes down to knees in length. She has bandages going up her shins but no shoes.

Lore A young hunter was on the trail of an elk in a small forest. While following a game trail, he heard the unmistakable sounds of battle. Curiosity got the better of him, causing the boy to follow the trail to see the source of the combat. Rounding a curve in the trail, he hid behind some trees to observe the battle. A handful of men in assorted armor were attacking a thin old man, many similarly dressed soldiers were scattered about the clearing, dead. The older man was wielding a large sword with teethlike designs along the sides. The boy heard a great shriek, the sound forcing him to cover his ears and duck for a moment, so terrible was the cry. The young hunter overcame his fear and peeked around the tree to find the men all dead, and the old man had fallen with no less than three swords thrust through his chest. The sword glinted in the crimson light of sunset, almost seeming to call for somebody to pick it up. The boy watched the body carefully for several minutes, gradually stepping closer and closer to it. The young man steadied his nerves, refusing to be afraid of a piece of metal. It was only later he would notice all sound had ceased in the forest around him. As he drew closer he noticed the old man had a unique tattoo on his right arm, a series of circles that culminated in an eyeball on his shoulder. Reaching with caution, the boy placed his hand upon the sword. It felt like normal metal at first, the hunter was relieved and attempted to lift the blade, but failed to even budge it. Abruptly he noticed a new sound, thump thump. The noise began increasing in volume as the weapon began heating up, the young boy attempted to remove his hand but it was held fast. The burning sensation spread up his arm, increasing in strength, forcing the boy to scream in pain as runes seared themselves into his flesh and the very real teeth opened wide and the sword shrieked in unison as it claimed its newest owner as its host.

This is but one of the tales of [Comedo], a powerful weapon that was discovered some time ago on the Shadow Isles. Not long after the Twisted Treeline had been established, a summoner had found the blade in the woods. Ignoring his fellow summoner's warnings, he retrieved the weapon from its resting place. Immediately, strange runes burned themselves along the summoner's arm, later testing would reveal the writings to be a sort of control spell, allowing the owner to wield the sword and at the same time preventing him from being parted from it. The summoner began acting strange, normally a quiet fellow, he began challenging anyone he could to battle. It was only after someone had accepted that the true horror of what they had found surfaced. Wielding his new weapon with unprecedented skill and strength, he easily defeated his opponent. The sword then opened its mouth wide and fed on his opponent's body, heedless of either summoner's cries. After a trial, it was determined the sword was cursed. The summoner left it exactly where he found it, under the eyes of several instructors. They hoped this would be the end of the incident. They were wrong.

The summoner had attempted to leave the blade behind as he left the Shadow Isles. But, as they sailed further from the Isles, a pain grew in him until he made sense no longer; maniacally leaping overboard to swim back. Weeks later, the sword showed itself in Valoran in the hands of a new owner, and so the pattern continued. For months the sword appeared and disappeared, always in the hands of a new champion, and always devouring anyone in its path. The wielders differed from one another in every way they could; young or old, woman or man, the sword had no preference for hosts and it gifted its wielders with the power and skill to wield the sword at a level unbelievable unless you had seen it with your own eyes.

For the most part the wielders lost their grasp of reality quickly, unable to resist the powerful mind hidden within the sword. The few who remained coherent for a decent length of time through their strong will spoke only of the blade's hunger for combat and for flesh, and all mentioned the sword was alive and aware. The monstrous weapon seemed to draw a particular pleasure from defeating strong opponents and feasting on them, once even avoiding an entire village to chase after a strong warrior with a broken sword. The battle was fierce, but Comedo's host fell that day. The strong woman who wielded the broken blade contacted the League of Legends, informing them of the weapon and personally overseeing its safe recovery by the Institute. Eventually a condemned prisoner was given the weapon, and exiled to the Shadow Isles; as all attempts by the Institute to destroy the thing had failed. The weapon reappeared at the very doors of the Institute of War a short time later, held in the hands of a young girl wearing tattered clothing. [Comedo] spoke to the League's Leaders.

"I will join your League of Legends, bring forth the battle, I hunger for the flesh of true champions."

A separate report for the girl was insisted upon by the League's council

As per High Councilor Kolminye's instructions, [Comedo's] wielder has been examined by several physicians to see whether her health will hold up for matches in the League. It appears to have been a good call, Sophy, the wielder of the sword, doesn't exhibit many of the behaviors demonstrated by past users of the sword. After a barrage of testing we were unable to decipher exactly the reason why, but we have included our main hypothesis later in the document. The mental testing results: Sophy does not appear to suffer from her prolonged contact with [Comedo]; her speech patterns, mannerisms, and her brain activity are all relatively normal for a human. She is an unexpectedly cheerful girl, easily laughing at jokes made by the examiners and even making her own. She is willing to fight and kill on the Fields of Justice, testing indicates she enjoys the experience. Her history places her from Ionia and that she obtained the sword there sometime after its banishment back to the Shadow Isles. Although she would not answer how she came upon the blade, our tests indicate that, while the experience was traumatic, she is apparently very pleased with the ending result. It should be noted; while she would never directly reveal information about [Comedo], the information could be tricked out of her- indicating the story is one she is hiding for personal reasons rather then any sort of mind control. Through several indirect questions, it became clear that she was not a thrall under the control of [Comedo], but was more akin to a willing servant. Some physicians made note that she felt protective of the sword, but were unable to accurately measure the bond between the two. The physical testing results: In direct contrast to the disappointing vagueness of the mental testing, the physical tests were very successful in judging Sophy's combat potential. Her body is on the smaller of human sizes, exceeding 5 feet in height by only 3 inches. Her physical age is estimated to be 18 years old. Despite this, her strength is far above expectations, she is able to wield [Comedo] in an efficient manner, if only at a moderate speed. She also exhibited great athletic potential, easily dashing several meters in length in a short time. During her testing we were also able to see [Comedo's] abilities in action. Added to his already known power of eating slain foes, he is also able to shriek in a high pitch to the point of paining the enemy. It appears he also has a perfectly serviceable jaw, he is able to open his mouth to an incredible degree for a large bite. His tongue is also formidable, able to grapple an opponent and haul both himself and Sophy to the target. Our hypothesis is that unlike previous wielders, Sophy has embraced the sword and its inherent properties instead of rejecting it. This has led to a symbiotic relationship where Comedo and Sophy both survive on the sustenance gained through either body. It is, frankly, a terrifying prospect to consider the fact that a young girl finds it perfectly acceptable to carry a sword that survives by feeding on sentient life.

Quotes Upon being selected Sophy: Let's get fed, Summoner!

Skin Ideas: Easter Surprise Comedo Sophy is now dressed in a white rabbit suit, ears, fluffy tail, the works. She has an Easter basket in her left hand. Comedo is redone to look like a large carrot. Moveset changes The mark for the innate would be a small Easter egg and triggering them would cause them to explode into green grass. Comedo's dash (W) leaves a trail of Easter eggs for a few seconds. Comedo's scream (E) is a burst of green grass. Comedo's ultimate (R) will reveal his tounge to be candy colored. New Taunt Sophy: Hippity, hoppity, feed my sword today Comedo: Today, your vegetable eats you! New Joke Sophy: What is this green grass stuff anyways? Comedo: Sophy, what have you done to me? -Panicky voice- New Dance Sophy plants Comedo in the ground like a carrot and dances in a circle around him before pulling him out, muffled screams of rage can be heard coming from the ground

Soul Blade Comedo Since the design was based in parts from Soul Calibur and Gods Eater Burst, it seems only fair to make a Nightmare skin for her. The additional point is for this skin to show the bond between Sophy and Comedo has strengthened in their time together. Her right arm will be altered to be monstrous, with an eyeball set into the shoulder and a 3-fingered, clawed hand. She will be wearing a full suit of purple armor (feminized of course) but no helmet. Her eye that isn't patched will glow a bright red. Comedo won't have changed that much, he'll probably just get a slight red overlay on his color scheme. Moveset changes: Innate: Instead of blood when marks are popped, a bright shiny soul flashes and is absorbed- the eyeball markers are still the same. Q/W and auto-attacks: Comedo now has a slight trail of glowing red light following him when Sophy swings him to attack. E: When the scream is activated, it is instead an orb of crimson light- like Nightmare's aura sphere. R: Tether is a shining beam of red light instead of the 'tongue' Voice changes- Comedo's distortion is higher, Sophy has become colder and older in her tone. New Quotes Moving: Comedo: Sophy, you've grown so strong Sophy: We're hungry, let's kill something Attacking: Comedo: Your suffering, how it soothes me Sophy: You only exist so my sword skewers you Comedo: Give me more power Sophy: Relinquish your life Taunt: Comedo: Are you afraid? Sophy: Fear us Joke: Comedo: Sophy, where did you find armor? Sohpy: Three fingers is very different than five (inspects monster hand) When tethering via ultimate: Comedo: Drown When the ultimate stacks are used/pull activated: Sophy: in Darkness!

I like the idea of this champ (or should i say champs), however will this champ have a specific niche to fill in the game? Not trying to be offensive but it's key for a champ to have a unique role in league in order for it to come to life. Btw love the design and the lore behind this champion. Very creative.
