Gilcrest, A Man Torn (redux)
Gilcrest is a damacian who was captured by noxius and rescued after 10 years of imprisonment and gladiatorial hardships, he was a captain in the damacian army but his years of gladiatorial interment left him changed and torn between his past and present.
This character concept also adds in a new role specification "universal" a universal champion is one who can fill in for his teams needs based on the selection the player makes, example picking the tank support version of Gilcrest when the team needs better defenses and support abilities rather than more damage
Passive: One man, Two souls: at the beginning of the match Gilcrest chooses his role for the battle, Damacian captain or noxian gladiator. his abilities differ between the two roles
Captain Gilcrest: Primary Tank, Secondary Support. Uses a Mace and Tower shield, controls the battlefield through force of presence and team tactics
Q Hammer and Anvil: gil swings his mace downward upon his foe slowing them before knocking them back with his shield. dealing damage both times. The mace damage is 25/75/125+ 0.2 ad (he's a tank not a bruiser), the shield damage is 50/75/100+ 0.2 armor and 0.2 magic resist
W Lead by Example: Gil channels and creates a zone that moves with him, all enemy attacks that enter or come from inside the zone target gilcrest and aoe attacks affect only him. the zone lasts for 10 seconds or until Gilcrest dies whichever comes first. this ability is similar to Braums shield but affects a zone rather than a direction and does not negate the first attack made against him. AoE damaging abilities deal their normal damage to him while lingering abilities (tormented soil for example) affect only Gilcrest while the effect remains inside the zone otherwise they are unaffected one clear of the zone
E Rebounding strike: gil readies his shield and reflects the next attack or ability back to its origin along with any on hit effects and other changes. certain abilities that require a set number of hits (vaynes silvered bolts for example) reflect the damage of that attack in the chain so for instance if vayne landed her third hit for silvered bolts on him but the final hit was reflected vayne would take the damage as if she herself had all three marks applied to her (overpowered yes but only if it reflects a tremendous amount of damage), pulls and displacements instead become stuns for the attacker.
R Voice of Damacia: gil channels and rallies himself before charging at his target, impacting his target or another enemy champion releases a roar of sound suppressing the target impacted and fearing other enemies nearby, the suppressed target is assaulted by 3 swift strikes from his mace and launched back with a 4th from his shield. The strikes from the mace are swift and deal relatively low damage for an ultimate ability 75/150/225 +.75 ad scaling, the shield strike deals 200 flat damage +0.5 combined total armor and magic resist in addition to a knockback effect that shoves the target a great distance (about the distance of a nami ultimate) if the target impacts with terrain they take an additional 50-200 damage according to the distance traveled, if they impact with another enemy champion they both take the distance damage. The ability itself is a point and click ability however once cast it can be intercepted by another enemy champion while Gil Charges his target, intercepting him suppresses the champion hit instead of the target and deals damage accordingly.
Gilcrest the Butcher(gladiator): Primary Fighter/ Secondary Assassin. Gilcrest uses his hands and bladed armor, controls his opponents with heavy strikes and movement displacing abilities
Q Butchers Leap: Gil leaps at his foe (skillshot) If Gilcrest hits his target he displaces them by tossing "flipping" them to his side and leaping at them a second time at no cost, the second attack stuns the target for .5 to 1.5 seconds based on ability level damage is flat 100 for the first hit and 150 for the second +.4 total ad. missing the first leap damages gilcrest for 25% of the damage dealt, missing the second slows him by 90% for .5 to 1.5 seconds decreasing
W Hammerfist: Gils next attack will deal 2X damage and knock the target back, can be combined with his other abilities. (while similar to blitzcranks e the main difference is the knockback effect rather than a knock up this allows him to position his enemy for allies to better follow up on or use a well places Butchers Leap)
E Environmental Hazard: Gill gains the ability to leap onto terrain, this ability changes his next auto attack into a ranged leap with a push effect on it. the ability can be combined with his other abilities to add a push to his next attack, Gilcrest travels with his target and performs a single auto attack at the end of the charge (full combo would be E, Q, W, R)
R Survivors Guilt: Gilcrest channels and selects a target location during the channel (global range excluding bases) his next auto attack challenges his target by grabbing them and leaping to the target location, once at the location neither gilcrest or his target may be hit by allied or enemy abilities or effects. the zone created persists until either gilcrest or his opponent are defeated with effects going to the winner and losers teams
Losing team: the losing champions team is feared and deals 50% less damage to the enemy team for 10 seconds Winning team: the winning team has their stats boosted by 10% for the next 10 seconds and their first attack during this time will deal double damage (this includes damage from abilities)
